Eclipse looked over at Noctis and smiled. "Oh, sorry I haven't introduced you two yet." Gesturing to Sukai she continued. "This is Sukai, she's my older cousin from Kumogakure. I know our villages aren't on good terms. . . BUT! She's family darling~ I asked her to babysit the children while the Chuunin exams are under way. I figured we could go watch our genin compete!" Seeing his skeptical look, considering their history with nannies in the past. "Don't worry, if she wasn't the best I wouldn't have asked her to come out all of this way. . . I'm too afraid to leave them with any one less. And she has yet to bond with them. . . " Her voice trailed off, hoping he wasn't mad. She was family after all, and knowing Sukai. "we'd have to depart soon though, their already under way. . . . What do you think?"

Steel shook his head at Eclipse, for some reason her calm and cold composure evaporated when she was around her cousin. Sukai's bubbly quirkiness was contagious!

Sukai shook herself. When Eclipse wasn't looking she pointed her finger to Noctis, and then to Eclipse, then two fingers at the kids. Taking a moment she nodded as Eclipse was walking. Wording her lips. 'and your HOKAGE now?' Frowning she shivered shaking her head slightly. I feel dirty. . . T^ T At least he wasn't my cousin-in-law at the time. . . At least this was all behind them now. Continuing off from were Eclipse left off at she picked up. "I'm really good with kids, and I have experience sitting their age range. And if anything were to happen." Turning to Eclipse she gave her a little black kitten. "If anything were to happen. This kitten will inform you."

But why? It was a bit dangerous, but she had gone to so much trouble. Maybe she wanted to take a vacation but why the hell the chunnin exams."I see...." He began to think about everything. Leaving the village when a shinobi from another village was present didn't sit will for him. But she technically was family, though her being her was just awkward."It was so long ago, its unimportant." He thought to himself."I suppose we could go."

Eclipse smiled and finished her ramen. Looking back at the kids she smiled to her babies. "My little ones, how would do you feel with aunty Suki watching over you while Mommy and Daddy are away?" Rising to her feet she smiled. A little broken-hearted about leaving them, but they were in good hands. Looking to Noctis with sad eyes she spoke. "If we are going to go we should soon." Turning back to the kids she kissed each on the head. "I love you both."

Sukai had been taking care of the kids for quite some time now. And today they wanted ramen once again! Suki held Yukiko's cool hand as Kisuke quietly followed behind with fang. Returning to the ramen shop once again she and Yukiko sat down.

Kisuki was walking behind Sukai and Yukiko, he was playing with fang at the moment. The pup was following him so Kisuke would move to the left and so would the pup. He laughed and smiled whenever he copied him. They got to the ramen shop and sat down, fang taking a seat on the floor like he had been trained before being given to Kisuke. But usually when kisuke finished his food he would bring him up to the table. Kisuki had sat down across from Sukai and his sister. It reminded him of the time first met Sukai. He had grown more used to her over the time she took care of them. But he got shy again thinking about that day and hid his face in his scarf.

An eccentric man pressed his way through the throng of people in the village's streets and slowly, settlingly, he paced himself past them and under the cover of the old Ramen Shop, a relic that had stood for so many years, through many generations of Shinobi now. Hatake Masahiro raised a hand and waved to the owner as he crossed the threshold, surprised as the man gave the same warm welcome he always had, even so far as calling the man out by name.

"Old souls never forget." Masahiro told the man as he placed his order, avoiding any ika in his food.

Once he was settled in however, the older man turned around to the young girl the Hokage had assigned him. She was an enigma, so much unlike her father, yet, so much of him resonated in her little form. It was uncanny, but so was the air of darkness that threatened to engulf her if she wasn't trained and sized up as a Shinobi properly.

"You know my name and my use of Raiton, but my specialization and yours are as different as the sun and the moon. I am a Bukijutsu specialist and a thoroughbred Bloodline Specialist. I use the Raiton of the Hatake Bloodline and my weapons far more frequently than I had been known to use nin- or even genjutsu.. But I know the value of each, as well. My former team, back when I was still a Chuunin, we covered each other in ways most teams never accounted for." He began, offering her a seat.

"What I see in you is fearful, or rather terrifying may be better. Genjutsu alongside the Sharingan, I've only seen that combination once before." He said as he bowed his head.

"Do you know what the principle weakness of Genjutsu users are?"

As she maneuvered through the crowd of people she couldnt help but notice the distinct lack of attention to her. It was.... nice. Nobody seemed to know who she was or who her father was, a feeling she enjoyed every second of. As she took up her seat and ordered a simple shrimp lo mein she listened to her sensei speak. She memorized every word he said, how he said it, what words he emphasized. When he spoke of their differences she couldnt help but find herself agreeing with him though she could understand a bit why the hokage and assigned her to him. His close range capabilities would be best supplemented by her long range support. Though her attitude changed a bit when he spoke of the genjutsu alongside the sharingan and having seen it before. THAT got her curiosity. She tilted her head a bit and said," Where have you seen it before? If you dont mind me asking. Though to answer your question yes I do. Most genjutus users if not all are long range combatants who excel at pinning down enemies but fail when they are engaged in close range combat." She was well aware of her faults, majority of which were blatantly displayed to her by the man she was beginning to no longer think of as a father.

The Jounin spoke with emphasis as he received his ramen and immediately took a shot of the broth off of the top, signalling the old man to bring him a sake.

"But know this, you are right, and I want to make your answer wrong at the same time. Genjutsu users are best as backline Nin, some rare exceptions have occurred, and a fair share now possess middling mid-ground skills thanks to some clan's standardization processes. You're generally raised or pre-disposed at a young age to think more and to exercise less, thus meaning you have less stamina than a Nin or Tai-Jutsu specialist." As the elder Shinobi spoke he continued to watch the eyes and the reactions of the young girl, waiting for the unwavering thirst and demand that youth had. The impatient whine for answers, or the bold courage to willingly jump into anything he had already planned for her.

"The way I see you now is like that of the pine tree. The cones growing from the tree will eventually, over the long hard winter, grow and expand into something open, releasing itself into the world, carried on the winds for the briefest of time or dropped to the carcass of the tree from which you came. I, on the other hand want to show you the other side of the same token. Did you know that the Pine tree, as well as several other species of plant are considered to be pyriscent? That means that under fire, not only will they survive, but they'll in truth thrive, forced to eject the husk of the shell, of the cone, it peels back and tosses its seeds out for the winds and the updraft to scatter all around." The Jounin carried on, raising his arms into the air as he visualized the concept.

Koan sat listening to the elders words intently, he had power something she desperately wanted on her own accord and didnt care what the costs were. Her father had awakened his own sharigan when he was a genin she should be able to as well by her own logic. Though her expression soured a bit when he compared her to a tree, unsightly though it was. It was still a good comparison in her eyes. Though what he wanted to change in her was something she was once more truly couriuos about. The only thing she wanted to change was her distinct lack of power though his words still held merit. He was a jounin which meant he was responsible for her training and if he had a plan she could care less what it involved. When her food arrived she fell back into the princess she was drilled to be as she took up her chopsticks and began to eat, not once breaking any form of etiquette. As she ate a thought came to her that she had to give voice," Sensei, if your specialty is melee combat how will you teach me to better myself in Genjutsu?"

The truth behind the pairing of teacher and student is not one way, not once you're in the real world. It is a parity that works both ways. You'll never be the same for having met me, and I the same for you." The elder Shinobi spoke as he tilted back the serving of sake provided him, the smallest sound coming from him at this point.

"Looking into your eyes you've yet to awaken the Sharingan, have you?Trust me child, this is a blessing for you. That eye, it is a powerful gift, and an even more powerful curse. Promise me that you will let me train you to be a strong shinobi without it's use before you ever attempt to force it's activation." Hatake Masahiro asked her, his eyes settling in stone towards hers, a small crackle of his chakra running along his frame.

"We should start on your training immediately, but first you'll need time to digest that food, so let's think of a good place that's a fair walk away from here to give you time to do just that. Let's say the forest, sound good to you, young Miss Uchiha."

While the elder spoke she split her attention to the rather good food and his words though when he spoke of her sharingan she placed her chopsticks down neatly and said," My sharingan will awaken on its own of its own. Not by me forcing it. Its true that they are powerful but power before the mind is ready for it leads to a darker place than I desire to be. So you may rest easy. While I do crave its power its not something I will go out of my way to get early." His display of chakra did not phase her in the slightest in fact it only served to make her want to train more as she said," Im fine. As far as a forest there is a rather large one I know of if you would like me to show it to you." The though of training outside of an academy wasnt something she was used to but she could get past it, good thing she snagged all those scrolls before they left for the shop.
