"Honestly, I know nothing about her. I've only seen her the once, and everything else was either rumor or something I heard from you or the Absolute Leader." Jian replied. "My arms fine, though it's a bit sore. I don't have to move it, because it's on my left side and I'm right handed, so that's probably why." He finished, getting into the limo after Monica had already entered. He was a gentleman after all. After they both had gotten in, a soldier closed the door for them, and the limo drove away.

"Interesting... A shadow shrouded in rumors" Monica said, crossing her arms and deliberating with herself about the matter. "Ah, that's good. But could you please at least pretend to be hurt in front of the patient? After all, striking fear is the name of the game" She said, still looking straight ahead.

"Ok. To what degree of hurt?" He asked. He was a master actor due to the fact that Damien always somehow jammed the both of them into propaganda. Of course, Damien was always far better at it then Jian, but Jian was better then most actors when it came to making a front for people.

"Ticked off at the least but don't overdo it. It's delicate little things like these that make squeezing information out of some people much much easier" Monica commented, not warning or scolding the chief general in the least bit. After all, she deemed that she would be on good terms with the guy since he was one of the few people that didn't make her age a little faster.

"I see... Though I show 'ticked off' in a rather unusual way." Jian admitted. "Unlike the Absolute Leader who is rather forward about most things because no one can or will attempt to stop him from doing as he pleases, I'm rather passive aggressive, and I tend to smile when I'm angry." Jian smiled. "So much so that sometimes, my subordinates get scared when I'm actually in a good mood."

Monica sighed, "Then we must be on the same boat" Monica added, "Except my subordinates seem to get scared no matter what I do" She finally looked at the chief general saying, "Well, I think you know what kind of look would be appropriate. I won't dictate. You are skilled at this anyway, am I correct?"

"I have to be. I'm a public figure, remember." Jian jested. "Though torture is not exactly my thing. Even if they are the enemy, I feel like I would be too sympathetic in the long run." He admitted. "Kind of ironic coming from the Head General, right? Then again, all I really do is paperwork and assisting the Absolute Leader."

Monica laughed, covering her mouth with one hand and accidentally placing another on the chief general's thigh out of laughter.. She then lifted it and said, "Oh, sorry." She put on a serious face gradually. "That is how you view your job? Quite an understatement but I prefer this compared to Dietrich's attitude. And besides, we are both public figures. You, because of position and I, because I'm the last heir to an extremely wealthy family" She then joked, "I was throwing such a fit back then because people wouldn't leave me alone when I was outside the mansion. It took quite a while to get used to but it does have its perks... Being a 'celebrity' of sorts..." she admitted.

"I know that, but that's what it feels like." Jian replied. "I can't imagine what it would be like to deal with this your entire life. It still bugs me that I have to dress up in piles of makeup just to walk outside the building. Then again, I don't have to go to the store every week either, which I also find a bit strange."

"Ah yes. Then I expect you had a happy childhood?" She asked with a stoic look. "You see, mine was full of politics. I learned to blackmail people as a child who couldn't handle it... "It had it's ups and downs. I got made fun of a lot because I was from the tribes." Jian replied. "I suppose that's one way of looking at it. I'm sure your problems have gotten a lot easier." He winced slightly at the thought of heads being blown off, but he kept his composure.

I didn't go out in the public eye until Damien started calling for supporters. It was then that my fortunes started to prove useful, no?" She then decided not to reply to Jian's comment, knowing his position about the matter. "Well, we're here" She noted, as the driver showed his pass to the guard that checked IDs in front of the secret facility.

"Yeah. I can see how that would be an issue. And always having that thought in the back of your mind that when push comes to shove, they'd never stay." Jian replied. "Yeah. To be honest, we were a very surprised that you supported us. After all, we were kind of the high school rejects, and you were miss popularity." Jian finished. He turned his head to see the building. As soon as the car stopped, a guard came to open the door, and Jian stepped out first. He then offered a hand to Monica.

"Why thank you, general" Monica said, taking his hand and stepping out as the door was closed behind her. Then she explained with a chuckle, "Yes, I'm sure you understand now that we're in the same boat." She continued, putting a finger to her lower lip, admitting, "Well, I did feel the effects of the terrible governing even from within my confines. But truth be told, I did like Damien. He's quite a romancer. I would have entertained him more had he asked me then but..." She sighed, "I'm quite disappointed that he turned out to be such a manwhore." She said, "Shall we?"

"Um... Monica, you do realize that he started doing that back when he was in high school, right? Homecoming week our senior year, he was juggling between the junior prom queen, the track star, and three cheerleaders, and all of them had boyfriends. The difference is that back then, no one wanted to admit it, and he covered his tracks very well." Jian replied, following behind her.
