Danica finished her breakfast and headed to the shop. On the way there, she decided she would open late today. After the news report about the fire at the Police Department building, she felt she needed some air. Maybe she'd go for a short flight. Upon reaching Starlite Starbrite, Danica pulled a gold-lined black hooded cloak from the bottom of the messenger bag she used as a purse and fastened it around her shoulders. Then she left through the back door, locking it again behind her, and created a floating platform shaped like a star. She hopped on and crouched on the star, flying from the alley and out over the street. Glancing down as she flew, Danica saw many civilians grow skittish and hurry away when her shadow passed over them. She frowned. Damn Animus and Barbus factions. If it weren't for those villains, people wouldn't have to be afraid.

Trent hadn't expected to stay the night. He had thought that they'd be looking for Phoebe right away, so he slept in the clothes he brought, though he had taken off his suit jacket and bowtie. He hardly got any sleep as he worried about his sister. He eventually calmed down and got maybe a couple hours worth. When he woke up, he was once again worried about his sister and wanted to find her, and that adrenaline kept him from being too tired.

"Oh that one is for him..." Serene shook her head lightly, refusing the bowl. She can see VoltEdge was very hungry, which is probably because she ate only candy last night. Making sure VoltEdge was paying attention, Serene gave her a fork and demonstrated how to pick the noodles up, stabbing vegetables, and chicken. All of this was done very slowly, and after that is finished, Serene put the fork on her hands, waiting for her to imitate her. While doing that, she was also eating her own bowl, as quickly as she can so she could go wake up Coil. The taste of the noodle always changes since the market always had a lot of imports, in which Serene isn't sure how they got it into the city with all the villians running about, but maybe they aren't interested in packed dry foods.
Turning her attention back to VoltEdge, Serene gently gripped her hands and made her pick up the noodles, then hold it to her mouth. Today she'll teach VoltEdge on all the basics of living normally, after the forks and spoons she'll move on to chopsticks, after breakfast she'll teach her those A B C's from the workbook she purchased yesterday. Perhaps if Serene start slowly, VoltEdge would be able to understand things better. With that decided, Serene made made the eating pose with the fork to tell her that she should continue to eat like that. Then she headed out to Coil's room.

VoltEdge frowned when the fork was placed in her hands. It felt awkward holding something that way. Was that even natural? The fork fell from her hand several times and she looked pretty much reluctant to even try to use it. She sent a charge through the thing just to see what would happen and widened her eyes a little when she noticed that it conducted electricity quite well (due to being metal, of course). She feigned trying to eat with it as Serene left and began staring at the fork and toying with it, sending charges from one hand and noticing that she would receive the charge again on her other hand when she held the ends with both hands. She giggled to herself, finding amusement in the thing and even forgetting about food for the moment.

The streets were quite when Phoebe skidded out onto the street, only a few odd workers milled around in the early morning sunlight either on their way to or killing time just before they had to show up for another day in the office. A few stopped to muttering about the dishevelled woman who had just burst out of such an expensive high-rise complex. Some muttered behind their hands, sneering and laughing whilst others continued on with the morning in ten on not getting dragged into some that may insure the wrath of a villainous faction. Just another lovely day in Verone.
~
It would have been the type of day a normal family, in a normal city could have gone to the park. Enjoyed feeding the ducks or even eating an ice cream. Played a game of frisbee in a field with their two children and a dog named Fido. It would have been the type of day Phoebe called her brother and asked him if he would like to go down to the small Italian ice cream shop in the main street to sit and chat about mindless and meaningless things.
Instead she was tucked away behind a mountain of upturned tables, chairs and thick gnarled tree branches like some sort of rat. lurking in the thick gloom that the canopy of oversized leaves provided. Her cheeks that blotchy, rose red that is only achieved by excessive amounts of crying.
Phoebe's phone lay in various different parts across the table. The screen had been shattered and the moment she picked it up the keys fell free from the casing, clattering noisily across the polished wood. Apparently her bag had been one of the many items that got tossed around in yesterdays skirmish With Vincent's loosely valid threat still weighing heavily on her mind going home to use her landline was the last thing Phoebe wanted to do right now. Not that she had enough strength at the moment to even contemplate moving let alone walking the few hundred yards down the street.
That mans home was surprisingly out of the way and Phoebe had spent the first 3 hours of her morning flitting between getting lost in labyrinthine ally ways and back tracking long winding streets. It was only by chance (and a fairly happy one at that) she had ended up back at the now partially demolished cafe.
With a dull 'thunk' Phoebe let her head fall forward and hit the table, sighing in relief as her right hand lightly massaging her damaged shoulder. The skin had started to it's knitting process and it left her with an awful itching sensation spreading from shoulder blade to finger tip. Maybe she could just wait here for someone to come and pick her up.

Vincent skipped work that day. Of course, no one knew that. His paperwork for the week was finished the day before, and the entire complex was under his control. He simply signed in that morning and walked out. He still got paid. He had an alibi.
He turned into Verloren and robbed a jewelry store, then sold the contents to the black market. The money, of course, went to himself and world domination. He knew the rules of a smart villain. He never held onto stolen goods. Changing back, he headed down the street when he passed by the cafe. He raised an eyebrow when he saw the 'weeds' had overgrown. After all, the plants overgrowing was hard to overlook.
Suddenly, his powers clicked when he felt her hiding inside. Of course, he knew better then to go in himself. She didn't want to see him. A slow grin grew on his face. He went to the nearby store and saw a withering rose sold for cheep on the stand. 'Perfect' he thought before buying it and heading back to the cafe. He rolled down the window of his car and lifted the dying rose as it slowly floated through the window, inside the cafe, and slowly making a thud on the table in front of her.

Soundscreech
As Zaine entered the demolished building, she could hear the crunch of glass under her combat boot. Her ocean gaze streamed through the cafe as her eyebrows furrowed in quite a bit of daft confusion to say the absolute very least.
"What the hell happened here?" the female said as she noticed something more out of the ordinary than a whirlwind that came through only one of the shops. It was a series of overgrown plants. They lined the little cafe, and seemed rather out of place. I bet one of the factions wrecked it. Those insolent little- The female's train of thought was swiftly cut off by a plant that seemed to be still growing. The female narrowed her eyes as she approached it's source.
Zaine swiftly peered around a flipped table and looked down, her nerves on edge. There, she spotted a rather familiar blue haired girl sitting at a right side up table with her head down. "Ph-Phoebe?" Zaine said, remembering the girl's name almost instantly. It had only been yesterday, after all.
Zaine exhaled in relief, expecting a villain to be lurking around. The female placed herself next to Phoebe. "What's wrong?" Zaine asked, hoping she could be of help in any way. Upon hearing a little thud on a table, Zaine's mascara coated eyes glared at it's source. It was a simple withered rose. Despite that fact, looking at it still made Zaine rather, uneasy. She turned back to Phoebe. "Is someone giving you a hard time?" She asked still noting the withered flower.

((alright coolio then. Seeing as to how our goddess and ruler Ayame appears to have come to a verdict that Shadow can indeed turn into a shadow while paralyzed I'm gunna go ahead and say that he turned into a shadow and escaped before having been tested on. If there is any problem with this little thing or anything I post feel free to let me know. I would like to try to not be a little nuisence or to make my character too like strong or anything.))
Jake sighed as he sat around his shop. It was pretty dead today, he only had like one or two costumers and they only needed to get an oil change. So all in all he's been pretty bored, and after his close encounter the day before he was kind of hesitent to go around frolicking as his alter-ego causing mishift. Huh, this has to be the longest I've gone out of costume. I wonder how long I can keep this up for before boredom overcomes me. He thought quietly to himself as he opened his toolbox and examined his tools...again.

Serene's footsteps echoed thoughout the building, she isn't affected by the silence though, since the library had always been quiet. When she reached a closed room that isn't very far from hers and VoltEdge, she was definitely sure it wass Coil's. All the spare rooms were open, with the exception of VoltEdge's, to make sure she can tell the difference between them. Serene gave the door three solid knocks. "Are you awake?" Serene asked the person at the other side of the door, if he was already awake, he should've gotten up sooner. Or is anyone in there at all?

The flowers seemed to thrum with a malicious energy as Phoebe picked up the sound of cracking glass. From her perch behind the large tree roots and branches it was hard to pick out anything but the light filtering in from the entrance the rest was a thick layer of shadows cast by the oversized (and still growing) bonsai tree. With the burst of energy the other day plants in and around the cafe had been encouraged to reach highly disproportionate sizes.
Phoebe rocked nervously on the edge of her seat as he scuffle of boots drew ever closer, her hand slipping to her open back pack to clutch at the hold of her sword. With each passing second the row of flowers only seemed to stretch and expand as they grew and by the time the shuffling thing reached her corner of the cafe.
Head still resting on the table top she waited, hoping that who ever or what ever it was would pass her by and leave. The thing (now confirmed person) muttered and moved closer, her voice echoing clear as day in the empty cafe and as it called out her name Phoebe found herself looking at a familiar face from the craft shop standing little more then a few meters away.
The plants that had been slowly edging and stretching their way towards the woman stopped, their grotesquely large forms falling still as Zain made her way over to the abandoned table. Dropping her control of the plants all together Phoebe shuffled in her seat as the woman sat down, her eyes showing some sort of concern for the clearly distressed hero sat before her.
Pulling her hand free from her backpack Phoebe managed to provide Zain with a weak smile, "I'm ok thanks, I was here yesterday…" she gestured around the cafe to emphasises her point "when it all kicked off and got……separated from my brother. I thought waiting here for him would be better then wondering off around the city" Her face twitched with the effort of trying to keep the already fading smile in place. She wanted to tell someone what happened, to rid herself of the memories but each time she even contemplated it a dull ache would resurface at the back of her head and all thoughts of trying to communicate them would die.
The dull thud of the rose pot connecting with the table drew Phoebes attention away from Zain for a moment. Her face seemed to freeze as she eyed the wilting petals and her mouth moved soundlessly. Minuets ticked by before Phoebe managed to move. Her chair clattered to the ground as she jumped back her hand fastening tightly on one of her bag straps.
Her mind was racing, slowly she eyed Zain and then the plant before tentatively moving forward again, her fingers wrapping gingerly around the base of the pot "N-no it's fine, just an….acquaintance"
'The next time I see that jerks face I'll break it with this god dam pot' Phoebe glared bitterly at the cafe entrance debating if it was really worth it to go out there and find him.
(( No idea if that made any sense as my brain is not working today x-x ))

[[I can't give you an idea of what absolutely everyone is doing, but there was a time skip and it is now the beginning of a new day! There is a very destroyed-by-tree-roots cafe in the city where several hero characters might be focusing on for the moment.]]
The bustle of the clone HQ was interrupted by the ringing of a mobile phone. The work of drawing locales of importance on the city map was halted, and each participant looked up from the table. After a bit of looking around and patting of pockets, they all focused on Armand, who had revealed the ringing black gadget. The call was put on loudspeaker and the phone left on the table then.
"We have her. We've followed her back to the cafe. We know the location she came from. He's following her but it does not seem to be a trap. Someone else entered the building, but we think it's a civilian. We have an hour more before the authorities get onto the crime scene, our own clean up is done." The report was fairly simple, but concise. This was being spoken by a clone spying on the cafe scene. He made a point to keep in the shadows, of both the buildings and in the shadows of his mind, were that villain to detect his thoughts. Right now, he began walking away from the scene, seemingly another civilian in the flood of people going about their morning business.
Armand leaned closer to the phone to reply. "Hold still, don't approach. We'll come pick you up. Keep me updated on what he does." He replied in as strong a voice as the weakened leader could still command. With that, the creator of the clones nudged the phone to slide over the table. It came to the hands of one of the several clones sitting around the table, and he picked it up before walking away.
"Relocate the boy. Have them rendeizvous at the first safe house. Make sure to take the necessary precautions." Armand called after the other version of himself. "We'll prepare the second headquarters by the end of the week." With that, Armand marked a particularly unpopulated part of town with a small cross using his marker. He stood, and was going to head off, but another clone pushed him back onto the seat. They stared stumped at each other.
The table was cleared, and food was brought, and the thinning origin of the clones was made to eat more proper breakfast. Dangit if those buggers were gonna let Armand take poorly care of himself. Same went for Trent. Armand's copies ushered Mr. Kyle to the table to have a bite.
"Trent, you're gonna go with one of us to another location. We're going to bring Phoebe there. We found her. Do you understand?" The speech was a little too hopeful, but they wanted to make a good impression.

Coil opened the door and came to face Serene, he had barely woken up and gotten dressed, he hadn't gotten much sleep the night before so he had spent quite the night resting "I'm up" he said, looking down at the girl with a light smile. He whiffed the air, he caught the aroma of food, his stomach began to growl, he didn't want to admit it but he was starving.

Trent felt a little more relieved to hear that his sister was found. "I do understand. I will go there then if my sister is being brought there. Is she alright?" he asked, not aware that she was found at the cafe.

Ace walked through the streets, pondering what he was going to do next. He hadn't really done much since saving Chrome. He didn't really feel like joining Animus to tap that keg of sexy insanity so he figured he'd look around and try to whore it up with someone else.
