Lucy sat down on the chair and stretched her arm out.She relaxed the muscles in her arm and looked at Mel as she got the things ready for her.She then looked over at ack.

Jack smiled at her. "Don't worry. Everything will be ok," he said to her. Mel had a needle ready as well as a container for it. She tied a rubber elastic on Lucy's upper arm and got the needle ready.

"Don't tense up and there won't be a problem. Ok?" she said.

Lucy nodded and winced as she felt the rubber beong tied onto her arm.She noddrd softly"Okay"She said relaxing herself.

Mel found a vein on Lucy's arm and injected the needle. Immediately, blood started flowing into the needle, through a small tube, and into a small bag on the counter. She stayed like that for about a minute or two and took out the needle. She put a small band-aid where she had put the needle. "There we go."

Lucy looked at Jack as she felt the needle go through her skin to her vein.She looked oer at the blood flowing and swallowed hard.She felt Mel take the needle out and then put a band-aid on her"T-Thank yiou."She said

"No problem, kiddo. All you need now is to drink lots of water and rest," Mel said, putting everything away. She put the bag of warm blood into the fridge so she could take it to work the next day and find out the allergy.

Lucy stood up and nodded as she heard Mel.She took Jack's hand and looked at him"Can i sleep now?"She asked him.

"Sure," Jack said, smiling at her. "I'll sleep with you, if you want."

Lucy took his hand and started to walk to their room.She looked up at him and smiled softly"Could you please?"She asked him as she rubbed her eyes.

Jack chuckled a bit. "Ok, I will since you said please," he said, holding her hand and walking with her.

Lucy smiled softly and nuzzled her head against his good arm.She ipened their room door and let go of his hand to lay on the bed.

Jack let go of her hand and closed the door. He saw her get onto the bed and smiled mischievously. He wanted to make her blush more again. He went to the bed and hovered over her. "Which sleep do you want to do?"

Lucy looked up at him and blinked abit.She rubbed her eyes and kept staring at him"What are you talking about?Theres only one sleep,isn't there?"She asked him as she tried t wiggle under the balnkets.

Jack smiled mischievously again. "You sure. From what I hear there are two uses of the word sleep."
