I also know from experience...at least in the shower. I'm not a bath person. Plus, slitting your wrists is a lot different than the flow of a period. There's only so much blood that is collected and released, as opposed to cutting yourself like that. The water doesn't allow the blood from the wound to clot, plus the blood pressure in your veins pumps the blood out at a certain rate anyways, no matter if you're in a tub of water or not.
