Robby was close enough to getting out of the town, he didn't have any more business there really. But before he could, the message to the C-room arrived, and he had to stop for a moment to consider what to do.

Others would be going there for sure, and if Norbert got in legitimate danger, it could turn bad. With a sigh, he looked up at Fried, who wasn't sure what was going on.

"Keep this safe." He said, handing the pokemon the bags he was carrying. Odds were, they'd be on the ground soon, and Fried would just be watching over them. That was fine.

He just needed to not be carrying it. His legs were stretched, and the lad got ready to run. The ground would probably suffer for it, but he couldn't risk getting there before things got ugly.

"You know where t'wait!" He called, and then was off, legs moving to push him towards Pokeland. Hopefully just normal running would be good enough.

Unlike Wayne, Tk had no problem getting free food, every one thought the pint sized hero was adorable. so when he got the message he was in the process of devouring a plate of some type of pasta with sauce he had no hope in pronouncing correctly, his Pokemon enjoying similar dishes.

His fork Clattered to the floor as he jumped out of his chair and sprinted for the door, recalling his Pokemon as he ran. "N's with Plasma" he said to his Pokemon as the entered there balls. They were prepared for battle.

"Thanks for the food, really, it was great!" he called the waitress as he brushed past her.

"Thaaaa~nks Clone Sage, come back and see us again!" She called after him. she was a fan.

Once his feet hit pavement he'd click his heels and release his skates from the soles of his shoes. Luckily the dinner The Pre teen was eating at was in close proximity with Pokeland. Taking off at a pace that would make him out to be a blurr to the people he passed, ziging and zaging past the people he encountered.

On his way he went over his conversation with N over and over again. It was all adding up, everything he said plus his statement back at Henrietta's house the day of the big stadium attack.

'N's with plasma...N's with plasma'....N's with plasma'...N's with plasma'

He repeated this over and over again in his mind. But it just wouldn't click. Of course it wouldn't, N was one of them. So all he could do was hope it was some sort of sick joke and everything that made sense about N being Plasma's king was just a weird coincidence.

PokéLand

Wayne's Xtransceiver beeped when the C-Room was updated. He was walking
through a mass of people, so he couldn't stop to read the message right away.
The trainer ducked up near the back of one of the PokéLand rides and opened
up the watch-like communicator's display. At first his eyes were dull, but they soon
opened wide as he read.

"Breakfast?! What the hell, I didn't get any breakfast!" he felt his stomach growl.
Flashbacks of the vendor encounter came back to haunt him. He also noticed
that there was another message.

"Huh. N's Plasma's leader. Right. That makes perfect sense. Pfft! Not! Get real, Sal."

He shook his head and carried on walking. Why would Salieri write up a dumb
message like that? Wasn't she on a date with N? Oh. Right... Things must
not have gone so well then. He felt slightly pleased about that.

"I guess I should go see if she's still around," he said to himself as the crowd
shifted around him. "Yeah, that'd be the right thing to do. Plus she'd have to
admit I was right and that'd be pretty sweet. Yeaaaah!"

Wayne grinned and turned back the way he'd come from. All he had to do was
retrace his steps up to where he'd split up from Salieri and N. He doubted it'd
be difficult to find where Sal was after that.

Looks like Jump finally found a woman who could keep up with him. Jackie
smirked as he boasted, glancing away. But then he just had to go and bring
her up. The World Government database had her on record, even if it wasn't
in connection to the mission Jacqueline had been on all those years ago.

"Her name was Sintre," she said quietly. She paused for a moment, then
stood up straighter, "I was impressed. The FLF have managed to get themselves
some skilled fighters over the past few years. I started to think that we'd be
stuck chasing out disorganised rabbles for the rest of our lives."

There were other resistance pockets dotted around. The World Government
tended to send in agents to clear them out every now and then; one or two
properly trained Aura users could handle those kinds of missions if they had
the right pokémon.

Pokeland

Patrons of the amusement park were torn between watching the battle between E and the Anti-Hero or running for their safety. When Salieri tore a mailbox off the ground to throw at her opponents, they decided to compromise and watch from a distance. The only non-combatant to stick around was N, who leaned silently against a wall with the brim of his hat down, covering his eyes. He watched not to enjoy it, but to know when it was over. When the fighting would end.

Snacks and toys from broken vendor stands littered the ground. Salieri and E were clashing in the middle of it all. Neither one had landed a blow yet.

It appeared that E was a proficient fighter. Salieri didn’t recognize her style and surmised that it was hybrid martial arts, perhaps self taught. E’s longer reach kept Salieri at bay, but the Battle Girl’s sheer ferocity was forcing E backwards.

“You’re quite persistent,” E commended sweetly while swaying backwards, narrowly avoiding a roundhouse to the face. “I wonder…if you fight harder because you’re wounded on the inside.”

Salieri snarled in response. She ducked under a right hook and shot forth with her own jab. E caught her wrist in a tight grip. “Like a savage would.”

The green haired girl grinned devilishly and hurled Salieri over her shoulder towards her Beheeyem, who hovered a few inches off the ground. Before Salieri could land, she was caught in a Telekinetic grip and was stuck floating in the air.

E charged at Salieri, but stopped short when a vine gripped her arm. Chen Zhen stood behind her, pulling on E as hard as he could. She snapped her fingers. “Outlier.”

The Beheeyem responded by Teleporting to Chen Zhen’s location and ripping the Vine Whip with a thin Psychic wave. Salieri landed on the ground, and quickly rose up before the freed E could stomp her face into the dirt.

Outlier shot at Chen Zhen with Signal Beams from his glowing fingertips. The Pansage flipped around with Acrobatics to avoid the swirling multicolored lasers, landing behind a broken concession stand for cover. The beams continued to rain down, slowly picking apart Chen Zhen’s cover.

Salieri spun away from E’s straight kick and darted towards Chen Zhen with an outstretched hand. The Pansage sent out a Vine Whip which Salieri’s caught in her hand. The Battle Girl pulled, yanking Chen Zhen away from his cover right before it collapsed and swinging him into E.

Or at least, it would have been E, if Outlier hadn’t swapped places with her using Ally Switch. In her new position on the battlefield, E’s Aura radiated, and she flared.

The flared Signal Beam was formed from two beams spinning together in a double helix pattern, twice as large as before. With the momentum from his swing, Chen Zhen could not dodge in time. Salieri grit her teeth. “Gunk Shot!”

Dust particles from the air collected in Chen Zhen’s palm, forming a solid block. Like E, Salieri’s Aura also flared, making the Gunk Shot into the size of a cannonball. He slammed the attack into the beam.

They burst against each other. Bright lights flashed against the dark purple dust cloud. The force of the shockwave snapped the vine Salieri held onto, sending the tiny Pansage flying up into the air.

Through the dust, Salieri could barely make out E’s glowing eyes. If she pulled another attack of that magnitude again so quickly, she’d be left vulnerable. With the cloud, she’d be shooting in the dark.

She adjusted her eyesight, letting her see through the murky dust. Without hesitation, she rushed in and changed her nails into sharp claws. E’s silhouette was so close. In a few quick steps, she emerged from the other side of the cloud and swiped at E’s midsection.

But E jumped back just before Salieri had come out. Sal’s peered closely at E’s pupils. They were adjusted just like her own, giving her vision through the dark as well. Before she could fully process this, the nails on E’s hand grew like Salieri’s did, and she tried to swipe back.

Salieri leapt backwards to gain distance. E rose her hand up slowly, examining her new claw like nails. The dust cloud dissipated behind her. “This is an amusing power. I think it suits me, don’t you brother?”

N said nothing, keeping his head bowed. “You have the same ability as me,” Salieri blurted out in disbelief, not meaning to say it aloud. E responded with light laughter.

“Allow me to impart some knowledge onto you, you poor uneducated girl. No two Aura abilities have ever existed side by side that are identical. What I have is…hmm…” She tapped her chin, thinking of the word. “Superior.”

Chen Zhen floated down next to Salieri, standing atop his Air Balloon. Outlier Teleported back to E’s side. The battlefield was reset.

“It looks like you’re just a copycat to me.” She went into her default kung fu ready stance. “Anything I can do, you can’t do better.”

E raised an eyebrow. That comment was so tangibly false to her that it practically tickled. “I guarantee that you’re wrong.”

“Enough.” N stood up straight and dropped his arms to his sides. “This fight is senseless. Salieri, stand down.”

She snapped to the side to face him. “You really think I’ll listen to what you have to say? N, I won’t let you walk away from what you’ve done!”

A tight scowl crept onto the corner of his mouth. He stepped forward with conviction. “Everything I’ve done has been for the good of pokemon! For the world! I have no regrets!”

Salieri had never seen N like this. He’d seen him passionate before, but now he seemed angry as well. Angry that she didn’t understand him. “I have a future that I must change. And, for that future... I'll defeat the Champion and become unbeatable, unlike any other! I'll make all Trainers free their Pokémon! Just try and stop me!”

N turned his back on her. “I’m leaving, E. I have to get out of here…this was…a mistake.”

E rolled her eyes. “I told you before, a waste of time. You really should listen to me. For your own good.” She put a hand on her hip. “Go on ahead. I think I’ll play with my new toy a little longer. If she doesn’t run away, that is.”

“I don’t run from anything!” Salieri bellowed. She pointed at his back. “And I won’t let you either, N! Don’t you dare leave! Face me, damnit!

It was big talk. But Salieri could barely keep up with E and Outlier as it was. She couldn't go after N on her own, with his sister in her path.

If the rest of the Legends Crew didn’t come quickly, N would get away.

Leaping high above the crowd, naught but a silhouette with his coat flapping behind
him, Wayne landed in the open battlefield, feet skidding, head bowed as he caught
his momentum. He looked up, then stood up. Aura powers were awesome.

"I came running when I saw that explosion thing," he said, glancing over towards
Salieri, "Guess you weren't joking about N after all."

Spotting the Beheeyem at E's side, Wayne quietly pulled his pokédex from his
pocket. He spoke to the enemy trainer while the pokédex page loaded up. "So
you're Plasma's King? Ha! That totally makes you king of the idiots!"

Wayne looked past E and saw N. His face pulled a confused expression, and he
whispered towards Salieri. "Hey, Sal. There's another N over there."

"Yeah, at least they're...did you say the rest of our lives?"

Jump propped his elbow onto the table and cradled his chin in his hand. He rose an eyebrow at the suggestion that this would be their future forever. Still smirking, but now curious. "Don't tell me...you wanna do this for the rest of your life? Even when you're, like, old and wrinkly?"

He had mentioned to Jackie once before that he wasn't keen on staying in this business for the rest of his lifetime. Naturally he assumed that most people would want to retire eventually. Did Jackie really not consider that?

E covered her mouth as she entered another short fit of laughter. "Is his mental deficiency supposed to be endearing?" she cooed to N. "It makes me want to pinch his cheeks."

"That's his sister," Sal hissed at Wayne, not taking her eyes off of the Plasma Siblings. She wasn't in the mood for jokes.

N looked over his shoulder at Wayne. Not once had he considered choosing Wayne as the one he would tell. Of course it didn't matter now, but there was something else he wanted to know.

"I've been analyzing you since the day we met, Wayne. All your behaviors, your words, your actions...they led me to the conclusion that you've been a pokemon trainer for quite some time. I wondered...if you really are a comparative veteran...where your other pokemon are."

He turned to fully face Wayne, arms folded and hat brim down. "One of our knights said he encountered a trainer in the Pinwheel Forest. The trainer wanted to know the whereabouts of his liberated pokemon...that trainer was you, wasn't it?"

N shook his head. "I really thought that you might understand the feelings of pokemon, unlike your father. Why would you ever want to go back on your act of liberation? You've given them happiness, and now you want to take it away?"

E's laughter had died down to a quiet snicker. The sound of it made Salieri's muscles tense. She was seconds away from attacking E again.

Wayne looked at N and blinked. That was a girl? But she looked just like N. He
glanced back to E, who was laughing in a really girly... Oh. Ohhhhh. That made
more sense.

The real N was saying something to him, and he made sure to listen. He had to,
this situation was really serious.

"You talk way too much, dude, seriously." Wayne said, "How about we do our
little Q&A after I beat you up?"

He took out a pokéball and released his Duosion, Eukarya. Wayne paused. "But
by me, I obviously mean my pokémon."

"...I should have known that neither of you would understand." N said quietly. H reached into his shirt pocket and pulled out his four gym badges, holding them between his fingers. He looked up, eyes full of determination. "If you want to be together with Pokémon, your only hope is to collect the Badges from each area and head for the Pokémon League! Try and stop me there, if you dare!"

"How about we stop you now?" Salieri growled, holding up one clawed hand. Her nails gleamed in the sun.

"Fighting here has no meaning." He put away his badges and shook his head. "I won't subjugate my friends to battle without purpose. We will clash only when it will change the outcome of the future into the one I envision. And if your conviction is not strong enough, you will never be able to defeat me."

E sighed at her sibling's prattling. "The slow one is right about one thing, brother. You do talk too much. If you don't wish to fight then be on your way." She blew N a kiss, then tilted her head back at Sal and Wayne and licked her lips. "Outlier and I will see firsthand the quality of your candidates."

N turned his back on Salieri and Wayne. Behind him, a brick appeared on the ground. Then another right next to it. And another. And another. The brick wall formed slowly, crawling upwards to separate him from the Legends Crew. Visually, it was very much there. Tangibly, not at all.

"If the next time we meet, you are standing in my way," he told them as the wall rose higher, getting close to covering his face, "I won't hesitate to push you aside."

And then he was gone behind the wall, which stretched up until is well over ten feet tall. Behind the wall, N lowered his head and began to walk away. It shouldn't have been like this.

"Pardon N, he can be so melodramatic. And longwinded." E tapped her chest and beamed. "As for me, I'm a woman of action. If you're looking to fight, I'm still here."

Outlier disappeared, reappearing with a Pop! next to E. He held up a hand at the other trainers. His fingers began to glow with blinking multicolored lights, a beeping noise accompanying each flash.

Salieri grit her teeth. If he escaped, it would mean he'd come back later to haunt them. It would mean that he won. But she couldn't go after N, not with E in the way. And with that wall up, Zero was bound to be hiding close by.

"She copied my ability, and she's actually got some moves," Sal warned Wayne, returning to her fighting stance. "I'll take her."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 07, 2013 1:11 pm

"Okay. Let's just capture her," Wayne said with an enthusiastic grin.

"Not like a hostage though. Just very similar. Also we can question her and use
her to make demands and stuff, it'd be pretty sweet. I think we could use
Henrietta's place as a prison."

Eukarya used Self-Telekinesis to start floating in the air.

Wayne could feel the Aura link between the pokémon and him. All the battles he'd
fought over the past few days had been good for at least one thing; Wayne's
Aura links to his pokémon were as strong as steel.

Noise. It was dull but present, beating against her ears with every angry driver, every angry pedestrian and eventually every angry amusement park goer. Sprayed with bursts of water, dodging out of the way of them, or just watching it pass by.

Henrietta's thoughts were clear though. As she rode upon Bastion's shell she knew only one thing.

I have no idea how we're going to stop.

A wall appears in the distance, ten feet tall and made of brick. Henrietta tensed. "Slow us down!"

"Blast!"

Bastion didn't change what he was doing. Henrietta gripped the shell tighter. "Use short bursts of water to slow us, rapid spin and retreat into your shell on my mark!"

Bastion did as commanded, their speed beginning to slow as they got lower to the ground. Momentum was what mostly carried them now and the force of the wind had begun to push against that as well.

"Now!"

Bastion spun as she got to the wall. She'd tear through it, use it to-

Henrietta wasn't on the shell anymore. Bastion crash landed and Henrietta was flung away by the Rapid Spin. She felt her back hit something and she sunk against it. The bouncing castle held, taking her momentum, her weight, and eventually it through her back.

The angle shot her up, in and arc, but it wouldn't take her too far. Not that she needed to go very far. The castle was there for kids to play, if they were afraid of the rides around them.

In the air she had perfect view of everything around her. A green haired woman facing down Salieri and Wayne, N - probably reacting to Bastion crashing very near him since he'd chosen to walk away.

Henrietta came down, preparing to roll, crystals forming on what would soon be the points of impact. They took the brunt of the force and as Henrietta rolled up to her feet in one smooth motion, the crystals broke away, shattered under the force of it.

Her heart was beating fast than it ever had, her adrenaline was pumping, her body felt so alive, so awake at that moment that she wanted to scream. The fear of it, the exhilaration. Henrietta regarded E with wide eyes, the bags under them like poor bruised make up.

"Capture N!" Henrietta shouted and Bastion called back in compliance before setting off after the boy.

"Do you need help here?" Henrietta said next, resting one hand on the hilt of the aura sword.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 07, 2013 4:12 pm

Robby had probably shocked a few people on his way over, what with them apparently not thinking he was the type to run. Especially not as fast as he had been running.

Luckily, the path was relatively cleared by the water from Henrietta's arrival. Well, and most people decided to dive out of the way of someone his size sprinting really really fast.

And so, he arrived in time to see N. Which probably wasn't really that hard. But it was with just enough time to start after him, in hopes that that blastoise wasn't going after him to kill him. Or something.

"Norbert!" He called, going after the king. And he was probably after the right one.

After all, he hadn't noticed E.

Silph Co.

The tower almost appeared to jolt as the lights cut out, only to be replaced by
dim red emergency lighting. Elizabeth's heart jumped and she looked back at
Aegis' wall-mounted speaker. Blake had a look of confusion on his face. She could
hear other guards shouting; at first in confusion, but then in bold declaration.

Something was happening.

["There is an intruder,"] Aegis said, sounding calm - her synthesised voice had
a limited emotional range, ["Please do not move until the situation is resolved."]

Elizabeth moved anyway, heading to the door. She stopped still when Blake
grabbed her arm. She could barely make out his face in the dim light, but she
could tell that he looked serious.

"Don't," he said, "Let the other guards handle this."
"Reg, my daughter is up there all alone. I am not waiting down here."

She flared her Aura and pulled free of his grip. Elizabeth hadn't received the
kind of training that Zack and the others had; she obtained Aura via the same
process as the normal World Government soldiers who'd served in Sinnoh. It was
called Artificial Infusion, and while she lacked a unique Aura ability, Elizabeth
could enhance her physical attributes the same way true Aura users were able.

"Dammit," she heard Blake growl as he chased after her. He fastened his helmet,
the hiss of gas escaping as its mechanisms locked into place. His voice
gained a crackly, robotic quality. "I'll escort you back upstair..."

He stopped still and Elizabeth looked back. Blake hung his head. Elizabeth
frowned. Blake was shaking.

The guard looked up. "He's killing everyone."

---

Blood flew as another enemy screamed back in pain. Ratio's blade swept
through the air, removing an armoured guard's arm. There was no light. As soon
as Ratio entered the lobby and drew his blade, the lighting had been killed
and a shutter placed over the entranceway.

He could hear the receptionist shriek in terror. It did little to block out the sounds
of men crying as Ratio tore through them, or the splatter of their blood hitting the
perfectly tiled lobby floor. They thought they had the advantage in the dark;
their Aegis-enhanced visors providing night vision. It was fine technology, but
Ratio had one of the world's greatest scientists on his side.

His own battle suit contrasted against the Silph guards'. His was black where
theirs was grey, the synthetic muscle that coated his body was thinner and
the metal plates smaller, providing less protection. While his enemies looked
like human tanks, Ratio appeared far more refined, sleeker. His full-face helmet
illuminated the blackened lobby in a shade of light blue. The guards weren't
the only ones with night vision.

He swirled around the guards as they attempted to surround him, their movements
slowly and clumsy in comparison to Ratio's own. His sword sliced through one
guard's stomach. Another guard attempted to strike Ratio from behind, a machete
raised above his head.

Ratio radiated his Aura as he swung sideways. His blade shimmered and
released a wave of force that slammed into the attacking guard, sending him
crashing into one of the lobby's support pillars, pinning him against it. Ratio
held his sword in place as the guard was crushed, his bones slowly breaking
under the force, his armour seemingly useless.

The others hesitated, but soon moved in to attack as Ratio squeezed the life
out of their comrade. The man dropped to the floor, crumpled in a heap as the
other guards attacked. Ratio shifted quickly, his movements concise, hidden
beneath a ragged black cloth cloak. He dispatched them one at a time, each
guard growing more frantic as his allies fell. With each death, the remaining
attackers launched towards him more recklessly.

Futile. Their blows missed, their blood flew. Corpses fell like drops of rain,
Ratio dancing between them, his cloak flapping as air rushed around him. The
final guard fell without assistance. He scrambled away until his back hit one
of the supporting columns.

Ratio walked towards him slowly, blade held at his side.

"Please," the last guard whimpered with a helmet-distorted voice, "Don't..."

Ratio stopped, his boots resting side by side. He had his mission. This man
didn't have to die. Ratio turned towards the stairwell that lead to the next floor
of the tower, his cloak swaying behind him, ragged edges like tiny tendrils that
stroked the floor.

He heard the scrape of a sword and sound of a man's footsteps. Ratio closed
his eyes behind his visor. The footsteps charged at him quickly and he turned,
flaring his Aura as he grabbed the final guard by the face.

The man was frozen in place, breathing quickly, desperately, through his helmet.
Ratio sent his flared Aura through the man in the form of electricity. His victim
didn't spasm or fry, he simply went dead. After a few seconds, his body began
to fall apart like sand; first his fingertips and limbs, then his torso until finally his
head, still in Ratio's iron grip, crumbled into dust.

All that was left were flakes, falling around Ratio, orbiting the radiance of his Aura
in every colour of the human form. He put his sword in a sheath at his hip, then
started towards the next floor.

Celadon City mall was the largest in the world. More stores than you could possibly visit in a single day, more floors than seemed necessary sometimes. It was a giant tower compared to what it had been decades ago, days when people whispered of Team Rocket.

Elysia found it necessary, but frustrating. Helena hadn't seemed as avid a shopper recently, but she needed clothes. After having been rushed out of Unova, and with the house gone, she didn't have much aside from costumes, and even those would have to be shipped.

Scizor followed Helena around, as intimidating as well and Elysia kept herself seated outside of the store. Her feet ached, and her eyelids sagged. She stared at the x-transceiver in her hand, looking down at the number of calls she'd made. To Helena's agent, to her friends and family in Unova.

To Kero, who never picked up when he was on a mission. Even if his daughter had almost died in a terrorist attack. Nobody she called would tell her anything, she wasn't military, she didn't have the security to know.

He'd come back, or Helena would get a visit from a man to tell her of his death. Elysia sighed heavily.

"If you just did die maybe I'd worry less," she grumbled to herself.

It felt weird not to wear armor. Even if sometimes it was just some weird knock off material made to look like armor. It had already been a week and he couldn't get used to casual dress.

Chuck walked the alleys at night, between bars and apartments, listening to the city. Its heartbeat, its parties and passing cars. The darkness felt comforting, the scintillating light of the street lamps shined down on the streets proper, lightning it up just enough for him to see.

Topper stalked the shadows nearby, foreign to this region. He didn't like standing out, hated it as much as Chuck did. No, it wasn't hate - it was fear. That one day they'd wake up to find Gorm knocking on their door. They'd run away when the man was at his lowest, and Chuck fully expected to face the brunt of the man's rage for it.

"Hey!" echoed the shout of a young sounding man. Chuck looked up and squinted to see what was going on. A few ways down near the loading dock of a store was a young man, probably some part-time worker, chasing after an even younger person clad in a hoodie. The kid held onto a box, likely merchandise.

As the man passed Chuck casually stretched out a leg, tripping him. The man fell and tumbled, losing the box but springing to his feet without injury. He dashed away.

As Chuck looked toward the employee he caught sight of another man approaching. Older and wearing a button shirt and dress pants. He looked out of breathe.

"Thanks," the young man said as he grabbed the box and started back with a nod from his superior.

The older man looked over at Chuck. "Thank you."

"No problem," Chuck said with a shrug.

"Didn't expect it to be so bad out here. Just moved here because of the opening, but hell, I tell ya, stores a mess without security."

Chuck laughed sympathetically. "Yeah, protections pretty expensive, eh?"

The man stared at Chuck a bit longer and Chuck looked over toward Topper who sat perched nearby, watching them from the side of a dumpster.

"How'd you like a job?" the man asked as he nodded toward Chuck.

"A job?"

"Yeah. Might as well start hiring, and you look awake enough to handle the shift. How's a security job sound?"

Chuck's eyes widened a bit in surprise. "Security, huh?" He could fight. He had Topper. More importantly, he could really use the cash. The less of Seohyun's money they used, the better. "You pay in cash?"

"No, but you can cash your paychecks at the register."

"I'm in."

The man offered his hand. "What's your name, son?"

"Chuck Gunfrey." Chuck shook his hand.

"Well Chuck, you can call me Mr. Avalite."
