Higurashi is weird. XD The opening song is totally epic, though. *has it on iPod* I saw some of the anime, haven't read the manga. It's the opposite for Angelic Layer though -- read some of the manga, haven't seen the anime.

I like both. I read some manga of both. And watched both of them. Though I need to watch Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai.

That's the second season, right?

Oh, Sy, Higurashi no naku koro ni is a horror anime. XD The name translates to "When the cicadas cry at night" or something. It's pretty creepy, but it's fairly non-linear, as it's made of possibilities, and so repeats the same general time frame with different alternatives each time. Each story arc is like what could happen, and they're roughly 2 or 3 episodes long.

I can tell you why she hasn't heard of it...or myself for that matter....it's one of those anime you've got to dig around the internet to find.....that and I'm meh about mostly japanese titles like that because I usually find them not that interesting...
