My guy friends usually play with girl characters because it's "easier" (like in Castlevania 64, for instance.) I used to get a lot of s**t, and get told that I probably wouldn't be good enough, but I clearly remember kicking their asses at Goldeneye on the N64, one by one. n___n Practice makes perfect, I guess. I have bad coordination but I play so much that it's instinctual, haha.

i sometimes join in playing Brawl on the Wii with my brother's friends (all guys Dx) ;'D sometimes i win,sometimes i don't. x3

angel_nicholson  I appoint *you* Secretary of Cheese, and Last year my friends and I (there was 12 of us, only 2 were girls) decided to have a MarioKart tournament. The guys are real nerdy and geeky so they all thought "Angel is SO going to come in last. She'll be the first to go." (no joke)
That was the day they found out girls can were more than just pretty faces.
They don't like playing MarioKart with me anymore : (  *you* Keeper of the Lint.
girls can beat guys asses too! uhh..i forgot what the other thing i was going to say >w<

my dream is to become a proferssional gamer and im a beast when it comes to fighting games and i have had some guys saying oh you play video games.

I love Earthbound and basically any game for SNES :3

When Counter Strike came out years ago I used to play with my girl friends at different internet cafes. There were several times when we were challenged by boys because they said it was going to be an easy win. They went home embarrassed.
I still play first-person shooters and I'm glad that my fiance encourages me to play.
I also like strategy and action like God of War. Some guys actually think strategy and games like God of War aren't suitable for girls. They'd be surprised if they saw the list of the games I play.

cause i hear a lot of guys talk about it at school and i want to say something like "oh Ive played that game before. its awesome".

So Yeah It's Weird Cause When I First Got CoD: Modern Warfare 2, My Cousin And His Neighbor Was Like,"I Bet You Can't Beat Me" And What Not So When I Started Off Yeah I Was Bad But I Started Getting Better And Ended Up Beating Him. Girls Are Just As Equal As Boys~ Those Were My Words I Chimed When I Left. But To This Day We Are Even Because We Always Get Draws. I Have Lots Of Games And When I Play With My Guy Friends They're Like,"Damn For A Girl You're Always Winning And Thats Just Hot!" Haha Well Thats What Ricky Says One Of The Others Get A Tantrum And Pleads For A Rematch And Others Storm Out Angerily. I Enjoy My Self.

I was playing TF2 and usually I'd be on the same server with these one dudes, at times I would pwn them, and they'd pwn me, so one day I finally got a headset and said hi, at first they asked if they knew me from somewhere, then after they figured it out they almost died, ah the cursing and awkward head shots! i recently had to quit TF2! crying

I remember a long time ago, my older cousin and I were about to play MarioKart, and he kept taunting me. I ended up whooping his @$$, lol. Also, about 2 years ago, same thing happened, only it was with my second cousin and SSBB.

   "I don't understand... why can't you be here with me, at my side?"Both my brother and I are gamers, but he makes fun of me for not only being a gamer, but just for my choice in games. I think he's still upset that I kicked his but at SC and several other games. He also copied my data off my memory card for SO3 cause he couldn't get past several of the levels because they were 'too hard' and I was like, "Nope, if you do this, then it's all good." He hates the fact that I'm better then him at some games. Although, he won't let me try out any of his precious first-shooter games. T-T I wouldn't mind trying COD, if he would let me...
Let's see... well, I'm a nerd and apparently have the aura of one, so guys usually aren't too surprised that I'm into video games. I've gotten funny looks going into this one store cause it's like a hobby shop for tabletop RPGs and such, because it's the only store in the city that sells a series I like. The cashier sort of went o.O when he saw me.
But my favorite experience involving video games was at my best friend's birthday party a couple years back. I was the only girl there, and they all decided to start playing SCII on the GameCube. I'd never played on one before and I'd never played the game either, so they all thought that I was going to be a pushover cause of that, and cause I was a girl. It was really quite fun to beat all of their asses cause they didn't expect it at all. And one of them had been bragging that he was such an expert at it. I was proud of myself.   "Only one could make it. Only one could be the one to return and fulfill that promise which was made."

Does anyone remember Game Cubes? Ah, good times.
My brother taught me to play video games, so he isn't surprised when it's Sudden Death between me and him. ☜

OMG I was playing Grand Theft Auto on live and everyone was like shocked when they heard me talk. Then later some dudes kept trying to rape me on the game.
