I hate cheating for shinies though. They're not as special as the ones you find without cheating. To me, the cheated ones feel like a virus in my game.

boneymuggle: a shiny pokemon IS a dferent colored one.

I used the chaining method to get 8 shiny Eevees. But it broke because I forgot to switch out my natu from the 1st slot, so the repel didn't work.

I evolved one of them into Espeon yesterday.

thanks for clearing that up! i thought there was sparkling ones and then diff. colored ones, sorry, still a little new to the game whee sweatdrop
