NightmareMoonFairy I read both Harry Potter and Twilight and must say HP is much more interesting, both books and movies. I agree with you.

I like Twilight so much better. I can't really get into the Harry Potter nonsense.

How about this, Wizpires. I like them both (books only, don't like the movies for either).

Here's my humble opinion as an aspiring author and movie critic:
Twilight: The first book had a good story, but it all went downhill from there. The writing is so amateurish that I, a high school student, could write better with only a little effort. While I am a fan of detail, there is just way too much. And the movie sucked.
Harry Potter: While the writing is rather amateurish in the beginning, it befits the original, intended audience if fifth graders. The writing progresses with each book, having a good balance of detail and action. The first couple of movies were bad quality, but that's understandable of the time. The quality progresses with each movie afterwords.
There you go. Take it or leave it.
