I've got another fun concept that this should work well with, but it depends how much leadership you want going on. Would someone with a cohort and a band of pseudo-outlaws/vagabonds hiding in a marsh be too much? I guess he could always leave the men behind if he needs to travel with some adventurers, only taking the cohort.

I'll go with that for now. "Commander Bard": human, bard, battle-ready, and accompanied by a hand-to-hand combat cleric.

I've noticed somthing funny. Clerics are usual co-horts. Am I one of the few who play clerics as main charries? XD

I especaly enjoy my Gnome Cloistered Cleric of knowlage, trickery, domination and oracle. He may not be able to smack you about.

But he can make you shine his shoes =D

This cohort is actually a build that was a PC, originally. And a fun one at that. Speaking of cohorts, what method of stat generation should I use for the cohort? Can I just use some sort of point-buy to keep things simple? Does he start with standard character gear value, or is it standard NPC gear value by level, as listed in the DMG?

DM, do you want me to redo Kimi and Chizue? I mean, Kimi was only 32 point buy, and Chizue was rolled, but not on the same generous system, so they're probably less advantageous than if I redid them. Just wanted to see what you thought. I think they work well enough as they are, but I want to make sure they're all right.

Huh. Well, I'm just dense. I really should read the stat rolling instructions before I roll and finalize my stats. Here's the extra dice to roll for my abilities. The first 6 rolls are for the extra dice for the 5d6 rolls. then there's the extra two stats to choose from.
