((You sure showed me. lol Well, I guess I'll make a real post, now.)) Reis folded his hands behind his head, and fell backward into the grass, casting an eye upward to the sky. This particular sky was a slightly different shade of blue than the last one he'd lived under. He sniffed the air, and detected a greater concentration of nitrogen. He concentrated his will, drawing out a bit of the world's magic as he did so, and magically reconstructed some of the cellular structure of his lungs. His body would now move much more efficiently, since he accounted for the new world's atmosphere. "Where is here, anyway?" he lazily asked no one in particular. He began to feel around for magical ripples, while he waited for his answer. Hopefully someone friendly would find Der Reisende and Strider before too long and enlighten them.

((Doop de doop, de doo. Oh, I made a map of what Estra might look like. It's a rough doodle, but I was getting confused at where places were and decided to make it up... sweatdrop ))
King Bariel kept an eye on the rest of the stables while Reign successfully found a horse. A mage rushed over, looking flustered. "Oh, not you too..." The king groaned in mock annoyance, smiling. "I know I can't change your mind...But, atleast take this with you." A wrapped scroll was thrust at him before the woman rushed off back to her duties. It was a teleportation one, and the runes were of the castle's seal. He sighed and tucked it into his belt, nudging his horse forward. Leave it to someone to worry about his safety, in the place of his family.
Reign kept quiet about the sad look that crossed Bariel's face and followed after him silently when they went through the town outside of the castle. He could see guards and soldiers milling around but alert all the same, glints in their eyes. A warm breeze made flags flap against their poles and the tarps covering ballistas on the walls. His attention was drawn away from a group who approached the king and him, an escort when they left the massive gates, and to the people of the town. They were cheerful, but he could see that they were uncertain and nervous. The wooden gates closed behind Reign and Bariel and they headed to the northeastern camp.
"Which direction are we traveling in?" Resa asked to no one in particular, standing inside the doorway of the farmhouse. The poor family was huddled in the corner. Usually her tactics were to ask politely, but since her small group she was in charge of was pretty intimidating, they'd ended up getting information the hard way. "Let's see. We came from the...east. North might be the mountains. So, we're going west-ish..." She led her scout group back out of the house and checked the sun's position, squinting from the bright glare. Then she pointed to there intended destination, a tall, dark, blob. "Can't go too far west though, our orders weren't to go to the main castle. Onto the fort then." She strode ahead, humming a song under her breath, and the rest of the scouts followed dutifully.
