Tamara "Goldilocks" Radcliffe
Tamara slowly entered the rooms for the second years and went to flop down on her bed. However, there was a little note on her bed that caught her attention. She picked up Gorgon, her lizard and put him on her shoulder, then picked up the letter. Opening it, she red it.
Dear Tamara,
I would like to begin your Occulmency lessons tomorrow night, so if you please come down to my office promptly after dinner, we can begin. If you get stopped on your way, have whomever it is escort you to my office for confirmation. Oh, and please bring your wand.
Sincerely, Anya
Tamara nodded tiredly to the letter and folded it back up, stashing it under her pillow. She put Gorgon back into his cage and fed him some food, then flopped down on her bed, falling asleep not too long afterwards.

LUCY BONKS “It's beauty that captures your attention; personality which captures your heart.” < Gryffindor,First Year,Quidditch Fan >
Lucy rubbed her forehead, exhausted. She sank on her bed, but noticed something rather odd about her pillow. She slipped her hand under it and grabbed the bag. She opened it and gasped, realizing there was money inside it. Pan ran over to her shoulder and looked down at the bag, too. He whistled in surprise and looked up at Lucy with a curious look on his face, searching for her reaction. She stared in awe at the bag, and threw it and the foot of the bed. "What was that for? It's money! It's a living!" Pan exclaimed, shocked and surprised by her reaction. Lucy glanced down at him, frowning. She turned her gaze back to the bag filled with money. "You earn a living. That's charity." she grinned. Pan sighed and shook his little head. "You're a mystery." he added hoarsely as he jumped off her shoulder and ran to the bag. "You're an idiot." she teased him. He chuckled, but his face expression froze to seriousness. "Take the money." he said. "No." "Take it!" he protested. After an hour of loud arguing, Lucy decided that she should offer something back to Daemon. She simply couldn't accept a gift without giving anything back. She looked around in her trunk, biting her lower bit, nervousness painted on her face.

The Howler burst into her Father's voice which was unexpectedly calm and icy, though loud:
"Indala Eve Grey, don’t you remember your ninth birthday?
Perhaps I am being too lenient granting you the comfort of believing your thoughts are your own, especially if this is the result. Your correction is in order.
I am unrelenting. Your eyes and ears are as my own, and they lend me their knowledge even as you sleep. Who better than you is aware of my capabilities? No one. I would not test the bounds of my patience, or others may feel your misery."
The Howler burned itself into non-existence, however its message remained engraved on Indala's heart.
She fell to her knees, tears leaking from her eyes involuntarily, not from the pain of the bruises she had received in transfiguration, but from that in her heart and in her mind. She was tired of trying to run, of trying to break free.
So that's how it's going to be. Well, we'll see about that.

First year
Where I am: my four-poster bed in the Girls' Dormitories I feel: exhausted
Sam walked up the spiral staircase into the first circular room; the first-years' dormitory. Four-poster beds lined the walls, with sheets of red and gold, and curtains of deep red-brown. Looking around, she saw her name on one of the trunks, and walked over to it. Tiny settled on the four-poster bed that stood next to the chair and nightstand. She longed to simply lie down on the bed and sleep, but first she needed to unpack.
She switched on the lamp on the nightstand, and opened her trunk. She removed her clothes and replaced them in the chest at the foot of the bed. Then she took out a book bag, and several textbooks from the supplies list that she had received, and placed the books in the bag, along with some blank sheets of parchment, a bottle of plain black ink, and a few quills, and placed the bag on the chair that stood next to the nightstand. In the top drawer of the nightstand, she placed the remaining quills and black ink bottles, her special color-change ink, and invisible ink, which she had gotten from her parents as a present, and the rest of the parchment. In the second drawer, she put the box that contained her chocolate frog card collection, a dragon figurine that moved, which her brother had gotten for her on her birthday the previous year, and two bars of Honeyduke's finest dark chocolate, which she had bought with her savings on her last trip to Hogsmeade with her family, and finally, a bag of Tiny's favorite treats, one of which she gave to Tiny before replacing it in the drawer. On top of the nightstand, she placed a frame containing a picture of her parents, her brother, herself, and Tiny, and her brother's owl, which sat on his shoulder. She also placed there an alarm clock which lit up when pressed, so she could see the time on nights when she couldn't sleep, and her Sneakoscope.
Then, she stood up and looked around. No one was in the room, or if they were, they were sleeping soundly in their beds behind the curtains. Sam undressed, and got into her pajamas, replacing her school robes in the chest at the foot of the bed.
Finally, Sam straightened up, stretched and yawned, and climbed into the four-poster bed. In another corner of her mind, she noticed that Aravis' name was on the trunk at the bed next to hers. Drawing the curtains around her bed, she got under the covers and planted the left side of her face on the pillow, with her stomach to the bed. Tiny climbed up the bed and settled down on Sam's back, like he always did.
The last thing Sam heard before falling asleep was Tiny's rumbling purr.
Where Sam thinks Tiny is: sitting on her four-poster Where Tiny is really: sitting on her four-poster
((Sorry for the essay size, I just figured for the sake of detail that my character's possessions might be important later. Also, to Violet Violinist, I hope it's okay that I put Aravis' bed next to mine - I realize that that is a form of mild godmodding and I will gladly change it if you would rather your character's bed be elsewhere.))

Where I am: at my four-poster I feel: neutral
Sam woke up staring at red-brown fabric. She bolted upright and panicked for a moment before remembering that she was at Hogwarts. Tiny wasn't on the bed, so he must've gone down into the common room, Sam figured. Looking around, she noticed the she had knocked most of her covers to the floor next to the bed, so she threw open the curtains surrounding the bed and swung her feet down to meet the soft, red and gold rug that lay between her bed and the next. Standing up, she re-made the bed, and checked to make sure her wand was still on the nightstand next to her bed. It was. Then she remembered her alarm clock. Frantic now, she checked the time. Seven-thirty in the morning. Oh no! she thought. Charms started in half an hour! She calculated that if she got dressed in five minutes, and took five minutes to get down to the Great Hall, she could still have twenty minutes for breakfast. Grabbing her uniform and school robes from the trunk at the foot of the bed, she put on a red skirt and a white shirt, with a gold-and-red striped sweater. Pulling on her socks and sneakers, she grabbed her school robes and her book bag and wand, and dashed down the spiral staircase, out of the common room, and down toward the Great Hall.
