Arel was currently in an amazing dream involving half-naked ice demon ladies (which half is left up to the interpreter) when one of the gorgeous ladies suddenly walked right next up to him, lips parted, getting closer.
"Um." She exhaled, in a rather manly voice.
"Huh what?!" Arel said, before he flipped over and finally, woke up, rubbing his eyes blearily with one sleeve. A pile of neat, finally organised application forms stood on the left hand side of his table. With a look that clearly said 'I woke up for this?' he took the slip from the student's hand and stared at it. Blink blink. "Oh, hang on."
Standing up and stretching just slightly, the secretary walked over to the shelf behind him and pulled out another folder under the "R- T" section. He opened it, flipping through a few pages. "Second year, a few detentions, got your rabies shots, hrmm. Ah, I see."
With a blank expression he pulled out a form, a light blue form, and handed it over to the second year. On it wrote:Form Mandatory Remedial Classes Due to your poor grades last semester, your are hereby requested to sit in on year one remedial courses, you must choose at least two, and gym if you wish to re-obtain your confiscated battle pass. The teachers may also choose to give you content more pertinent to your school year, as correspondence to your grades. What Remi did not know is sadly, quite a collection of second and third years had gotten the same letter, due to Arel's fight with the frightwriter that resulted in those poor collection of students all ending up with ZZZWWWXXX's on their grade sheet. Whatever that meant.

Rain knocked quietly on the door. She was still in shock at what she had just heard over the ickycom. She wasn't sure how she, a mere zombie, could have been given this opportunity. She was terrified but she was beaming from the inside out. She would give this her best, as she had promised all the students. Rain Rottingham was no liar.
Slowly she opened the door and peeked in side. She would be talking to Arel, right? She assumed that's what the gnome meant by dumbass Snowflake. It seemed that Arel got the short end of the stick almost as much as the students did. It had also mentioned something about a pin?
She didn't like the office. The last time she was here, she had been sent to detention, and one that still haunted the back of her mind. It was definitely the worst experience of her unlife. Perhaps this would make up for it, but somehow, she really doubted that. Arel didn't seem like he was the friendly sort, even on a good day! And this was definitely a good day for her.
"Hello, excuse me? It's Rain, Rain Rottingham," she stated, her voice shaking ever so slightly as she finally mustered up the courage to step inside the room.

Nuk wasn't surprised to hear his name on the ickycom at all. He heard it all the time, in fact, more often than not, as was with this instance, accompanied by the command to go to the front office. And when it wasn't the front office, it was always straight to the detention room, so much so he almost went straight there just by habit. This time, however, the context of the announcement was much, MUCH different. In fact, it was not until he was halfway down the hall, resigned to his fate that it really truly hit him what just happened, and what it meant. Ok, sure, it meant he was on the student council, which was kinda cool (and kinda lame...) but MORE IMPORTANTLY it meant Shehk owed him as kiss. And a date.
Which was enough to bring a toothy, slightly... scary looking grin to his face, which, in response, was enough to make any students he passed on the way walk WELL out of his way as they passed, making as wide an arch as they could. If only they knew that they were safe, and would be safe for the next semester! Or... at least a week.
Padding up to the door, the skinwalker paused when he noticed another standing there -- a zombie girl. Not just any zombie-girl, actually, he recognized her from a few places. One of which being her student council booth... and since there was only one name he didn't explicitly recognize from the list, he quickly deduced this must be Rain. Of course, that was not how he addressed her. No, that would be too easy. Obviously.
"Heeey, you're that chick with the..." he started, pausing for a second to make a general motion at her clothes, obviously having trouble expression what he wanted to say, "... from the masque."
Clearly he was remembering her short, and rather cute, monster costume. It had been good and memorable for him.

S...some..somehow she'd won. Somehow Chuppi had actually won, and the pin emblem that she held in her hand was not imaginary. She wasn't dreaming that her name had been called and she was supposed to go to the office for Good Reasons, not to mention her friends were there with her and she would be in Good Company. There was no need for her to think that they'd end up going and cleaning a nasty bathroom again, right? That had been a horrible, horrible nightmare!
Slowly entering the room she looked around at the much taller students and paled a little bit, her dark skin turning a shade of lighter green. The hand that held the emblem clenched tigher and the hand that held Thermos brought it up to her mouth and allowed her several strong sips. Stomach needed to be full if her nerves were to be full, and she hiccuped a blood-bubble as she strode forward to join the rest of the group.
"Go...good. . . .um....hello."
She knew some of them by name only, they weren't all exactly her friends. Now she did know Kasumi from the shopping trip, and of course she knew G, but the other two were only shadows from her classes; their names were known only to match a face.
"Con...congrations to all of us."
She said the word wrong. Oops.

Gargantuan was petrified. Winning was a good thing, an exciting thing, but to receive instructions about his prize? The Office held them. Last time he had to go to The Office, horrible, terrible things had happened, and the swamp beast stood outside the door for a good five minutes, whining and adamantly refusing to go inside. With a trembling hand, suckered fingers attached themselves to the handle before he pulled the door open, and timidly slouched inside.
It was both a relief and a petrifying realization to see two familiar faces--two faces that had also been in The Office when the scary shadow had banished them to the bathroom. And Nuk was there, too! He'd like to see anyone try to make Nukpana do anything he didn't want to do, and G felt a little bit better even as he lumbered closer.
"Hi." The monster finally said, sounding uneasy and not like his normal, cheerful self.
Chuppi 'n Rain 'n Nuk. They were all smart people, and G paused to rub at his face with the back of his hand for a moment. He promised to be a good Treasurer, and he intended to keep that promise--once he figured out where to start, anyway...

The secretary had actually been, shock and surprise, expecting them. His expression clearly read something like "Oh goody more losers", or maybe he lost a bet with Red last night, it was hard to tell. He leaned towards his desk and pulled out a roll of parchement, which started at his raised arm, and rolled past Hellma's office in the far hallway.
"... Student council blahblahroles blahblah goody-goodies." The ice demon stared at them, rolling his eyes at Rain, eyeing Gargantuan rather incredulously - and scooting away from him a bit in his chair-, and completely glancing over Chuppi. Wait a second what the heck - wasn't that last person that delinquent that always came into the office.? Arel boggled, opened his mouth, and decided to close it again. He wasn't here to judge...mostly.
"Anyway, as much as I'd love to give you all weeding duty around Breck's shed, I am told to inform you sorry lot that you should probably head over to your Student Lounge. It's off limit to other students, make sure to flash your Student Council badge at the gnome for clearance. Get your stuff organised there, we are expecting you to entertain the masses."
It was hard to tell if the last part was said with sarcasm or just incredulousness. With his less-than-stellar expression, he began rolling up the parchment, before pausing in mid-roll. "Oh right, Charles, show them where to go."
Charles the gnome unwilling obliged, giving a small grunt before gesturing for the sorry troupe to follow.

Cautiously, a small witch edged into the office, eyes furtively glancing back and forth. Why had Mr. Arel wanted to see them? Were they in trouble?! This was her second time in this office, and the first had ended pretty disastrously.
Oh no, she was working herself up again. Nothing good ever came from that. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath. "Everything will be ok. I did nothing wrong. This is probably a good thing yes. Nothing w-wrong. At all."
Except that apparently, she had taken part in an illicit battle.
"Everything...will...ok! Really!"
And she had gone ballistic and attacked some strange person with her bare hands. Not to mention all the damage she had done to her friends. Also there was the terrible language she had used near the end.
"Will...not...cry!"
Emily Device: DOOMED. Forever.

It seemed like she was returning to this office every time she turned around and this visit had her worried. Was the battle of the bands thing.. an illegal activity, much like the personals board? Was she going to.. get detention again? She was the Student Council President. She was supposed to be a good role model. Was she failing already? Oh, she hoped they wouldn't send a letter home to her parents. What if she got kicked off the student council?
She and her band mates had too fought hard and taken a helluva beating for her to just get in trouble over it. She had never fought so hard for anything in her unlife. Of course, she was a lot like the ghost engine that could, as long as she thought it could be done, she usually succeeded. Of course, she was probably just setting herself up for one giant crash later on. Her mom had always warned her about that. Rain, she had said, you have to fail sometimes. Nothing is meant to be perfect. Nothing was perfect though. She had some great things happening but at what cost? The bathroom detention was something she'd never forget and this band battle did not come easy. She got hurt. Her friends got hurt. It was awful. Detention would only make it worse.
Of course, maybe there wouldn't be a detention? Arel seemed.. kinda put off when he asked them to stop by. Quiet, private like. Of course, it might have just seemed quiet because of the ringing in her ears. Heck, even now it hadn't fully faded. She was sure he had practically whispered it though and then he picked up something, hadn't he?
Shaking her thoughts, she pushed open the door and walked in, surprised to see that Emily was already there. "Hi Emily," she whispered, not wanting to draw too much attention in case Arel was lurking about. She gave her new friend -- at least she considered her one after the battle they shared -- a look that said I hope we aren't in trouble.

Emily met the look with one of dawning hope and relief, "Rain! Hi Rain!" If President Rain was there everything must be okay! Or if it wasn't, she could make it okay! That's what presidents did right?! They had power! The power to fix things.
With a sigh of relief, everything would definitely be okay, Emily asked the other question that had been on her mind, "Is Shine okay?" They had all taken quite a beating, but Shine had..well...bled. A lot.

((Sorry!! Stole mom's comp for this....again))
Pachua still swore that he could feel a drum stick lodged in his eye... he could not believe that they had participated in such a... confusing series of events and he was quite sure he was never allowing Remi near percussion instruments again, at least not if he had any say in it which he really didn't.
Besides...why did they have to come here anyhow...he hated how cold it was... He shivered and yawned "We're supposed to report here...from the band thing." He said trying not to feel like hibernating.

Sin had rested and primped and pampered herself, she had bruises still but she wasn't tired or scared she was actually pretty mad. She wanted to know what ??? was and how it had just thrown Arel like a rag doll. Most importantly she wanted to know what that strange glowing blue/silver thing was that she had tried to focus on while huddled in a blanket ready to pass out. She could still remember the wild frenzy of her and her band mates being attacked and attacking. It had all been strange yet sweet, addictive almost, the passion to win hummed in her veins. It was frightening now to think that she could have seriously harmed her fellow classmates for the desire to end up on top. Still she knew she wouldn't have done any differently, she couldn't have, her nature was simply set in stone.
"You wanted to see us?" She glanced at the other...survivors, those who had still been awake when Nox managed to sweep ??? away. She hoped she wasn't about to get in trouble, but even if she did...geeze that rush had been worth it. Besides she had stood by her bandmates, as a team, as friends. She felt a bond with Davi and Alcie now, the bond that only comes from fighting side by side and living to talk and laugh about it.

The past few days had been a complete blur and the events that had just unraveled were mind boggling. They had left the stadium with so many unanswered questions like who was that mysterious opponent at the end? What was that glowing thing that was picked up from the stage? What happened to Nox? Blinking, Alcyone had no idea why she and her bandmates were told to go to the office. Were they in trouble for participating in the Battle of the Bands? God. She would never think of 'bands' the same way ever again and she was sure that every part of her body was damaged in some way. That seemed to be punishment enough... Though, Alcie knew that she was going to be in this office sooner or later and whether she had actually done something wrong was debatable. She obviously was no stranger to detention either... so Alcie really wasn't too concerned about leaving Amityville with a clean record.
Entering the office, Alcyone recognized a few of the members from other bands that they had battled. She waved to the other students and put on a smile trying not to think about whether they all were going to leave here with a years worth of detention or not. "Anybody have any guesses as to what's going on?" Shaking her head, Alcyone could still hear the piercing screams from opponent teams and she could still feel the pain of every attack. Looking up, Alcie noticed that Sin was present among the other students and she waved to her also. "Hey Sin. Are you feeling alright?" All of her bandmates had gone through a lot and this would be an experience that would not be forgotten. Well, Amityville was turning out to be very interesting...

There were no flying paper airplanes today. No rampant gnomes, no large pile of wool; all that stayed constant were the stack of papers on top of Arel's desk, which were all incidentally dated for two months ago.
The secretary looked like he had lost a fight with his bad side. His hair was disheveled - more so than usual - his scarf was oddly rumpled, and he kept on glancing every so often at the door marked "HELLMAS OFFICE". As most of the students from the incident started to file in, Arel gave another look at Hellma's office again before hurrying to the main door, opening it, glancing around, and then closing it.
He sat back on his chair, which seemed to have developed a mild case of icicles. "All right, I don't have a lot of time so let's be straightforward here." He was staring past the students at the door as if it would pop out of it's hinges any second to reveal something, Jack knows what. "What exactly did you students see-" he stopped himself -"I mean did you students see anything ah, unusual, during the fight?"
The question itself was so vaguely worded, considering that these students had just participate in a most likely illicit battle involving beating each other up with sticks and guitars, a strange figure appearing near the end definitely seemed to be the lesser of the two evils. But there was something in his tone of voice that emphasized the word unusual in such a way that it was almost taboo. It was obvious what he was hinting about.

Rain wondered if being president of the student council put her in charge. Truthfully, she wanted to slink to the back of the group and hope to be unnoticed but that would be cowardly, wouldn't it? She should take responsibility for her actions.
"Well, sir," she started, trying to remember what she saw, "When the two were fighting at the end, the stage.. it went all wonky like, it's hard to explain, but I -- that is to say we -- saw an island with a building on it. I know it was there.. at least until it disappeared. It was there for only a moment but it looked so real." Just saying that made her feel and sound like a crazy ghoul. She was not crazy though. She saw it.
Then of course, there was that thing Arel had picked up. But she wasn't sure exactly what that was and didn't want to speak any further right now. She was sure she was going to be kicked out of the student council as is and didn't want to be expelled on top of it!
