Sypher frowned slightly, wondering if it had been that way when he'd lived there "I see...I lived there for about...a year, I think, when I was 8. I don't remember much other than making a menace of myself." he laughed and sat up straight, stretching slightly "Is the temple still there?" he asked, remembering how dreary a place that had been. The wild animals hadn't bothered him as much as the monks had with their hairless heads "That place freaked me out when my foster took me there..."

"Hm." Sypher took another bite out of his dumpling and finished it off in the next "You're a monk, Breath-san?" he took another dumpling and examined the boy, his attention divided between eating and asking questions.

Breath nodded. "Yes, I'm a monk. And yes, the temple is still there. The people inhabiting it were nice to me, though the dark, creepy forest filled with wild animals should probably be scary to someone so young." After a short pause, he realized "Also, you were probably very bored in the temple."

"Scared, yes. Bored, not so much." Sypher finished off his food and set the basket on the floor to signify he was done "I made a right menace of myself by climbing on anything I could reach." he glanced up, frowning slightly "Wasn't there another one in your group? The one that wanted to come here?" a waiter arrived and set Nijiro's food down before her, smiling before she took the basket from the floor and left.

Ryo Aokawa

Ryo was gazing around and lagging behind as he was looking at all the buildings and shops that lined the streets. He seemed to be more interested in his surrounds than anything else. He seemed to be rather childish. "How do things like onions grow in a place so high up!?!" he said pointing to them and people began to think he was a bit too childish if not an idiot. Ryo than noticed he was lagging rather far behind but because of his easily distracted failed catch up. Than he heard his stomach and his mind was than set upon food the moment they walked. He than from a distance saw the others walking into a shop and ran to catch up with them.

The moment he came back in the the others had ordered and where eating. Ryo looked at Sypher picking one of the dumplings and began to stare as he was rather close to his hopefully new friend. "Waiter I want what he is having!!!" he shouted as the waitress nodded and got Ryo some dumplings and he began to eat fast so not to lag behind so much again. "Sorry, everything is so interesting here I had to stop and look around..." he said with his mouth nearly full of food to Sypher as he was eating.

Sypher smiled, raising an eyebrow at how fast Ryo was eating "Its just like any other village, I thought." he replied, leaning back as he watched the genins with interest "Though I do admit...we're a bit high for most peoples tastes." he took a sip from his tea before asking another question "Mist is in a low atmosphere, right? Its got to be strange to be up so high."

Breath nodded, then mused aloud. "It is strange. Our villages seem to be exact opposites. Water goes down deeper than anything else, while the clouds form the ceiling of our world. Your element of lightning is fast and efficient existing for moments, while ours is slow, versatile, and everywhere. And despite it all..." He motioned at the table slightly. "... Here we are. Even being opposites, we're not so different." Satisfied with his analysis, Breath seemed to slowly return to reality, just realizing that there were other people there while he spoke. He took a drink from his water bottle, then held it loosely in his hand.

Sypher examined Breath in a moment of stunned amusement "Our element?" he asked curiously "Not everything is lightning here. More often than not, we have rain and that is rare. I think the last time it rained was a week or so ago." he chuckled at the thought of lightning hitting anywhere in cloud then seemed to be slightly sick "On second though..." I was in the hospital for getting hit by lightning less than a day ago. Though not the natural kind...Blasted mutt... Sypher cleared his throat "But anyway, are you all genin?"

Breath shook his head. "Oh, I didn't mean any offense by it. But you do live in the Land of Lightning, have the Raikage, and have a large number of thunderstorms and raiton specialists." Then Breath smiled slightly. "Yes, we're all genin."

Sypher shuddered "Yes. I ,however, hate lightning. I despise it really." he took a drink of tea again, thinking "Well that makes me feel slightly better. I only recently became a chunnin so I'm still getting used to it. Its easier to be relaxed around genin than it is around someone like my master." he mused then sat forward again "If you ever meet Apollo-dono without me or another around, be as polite as possible. Don't try to pick a fight or even look like your picking a fight!" he warned, looking slightly freaked out "I'm serious. He's the scariest person I've ever met. And I've met some scary people."

Sypher glanced at Nijiro "Ah. The kage is Kage-dono. I would never presume to call her anything but." he smiled at her as a waitress brought more tea and he thanked her "Apollo-dono is my master. He, well aside from throwing me around like a sock puppet, helped me get to the chunnin exams. He's the one who was dealing with the Sand shinobi at the Kage's office." he paused, wondering how best to describe his master "Apollo-dono...is complicated. He got mad at me for cutting out on our training, threatened to kill me and then, when I actually got hurt, took me to the hospital. He's brilliant but impossible to predict." Sypher played with his tea a bit, swirling the his tea bag with a lazy appearance "Don't pick a fight with him or threaten the village in any way...serious or not...I'd like to see all of you in one piece when you leave." he said again, giving them a serious look "Really..."
