His philosophical reasoning was leaving her a little whip lashed. She just stared at him, contemplatively. Wherever it was he was going he felt the need to promise her that he was going to return and if it had anything to do with what he was telling her, man's reason not to lose one's self then this adventure of his was not going to be an easy one. A small pang formed in her gut, like a knot had twisted up inside of her intestines. "Maybe.." She mused, responding to his last statements. Although Mi did not believe in human beings as individuals she did believe in fate. Perhaps she was fated to come out from training in order to hear this. She would not shut it out. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out some bandages and the very supplements she had instructed Roly Poly to take earlier. They were meant for herself, her constant threat of bleeding out had her prepared. She handed them him, practically forcing them into his hands. As if forgetting something else, she rummaged through her little bag once more, pulling out a slave that was good for muscle pains. This too she handed to him. "I um, hmm..." Mi struggled for something to say but came up short, scowling. She had used up her humanity for the day and wanted nothing more than to just leave then. She couldn't say goodbye. She would jinx it if she said it. Rooted to where she stood she willed him to leave so that she too could be on her way.

The monk couldn't be certain how the journey to the grave would be. Something as important to keep hidden as the tomb of the Five Pillars was pretty vital, and thus one could only expect that some things wouldn't be so simply done. Nonetheless, she didn't seem to pleased, as hard as it was to tell. Musing over his ideas, there wasn't much to work. She shoved bandages and tablets into his hand, and then finally a salve. She seemed a loss for words, and nonetheless, he nodded. It was good enough, considering her social skills.

"I'll see ya 'round," the monk smiled, his thanks implied as he raised the handfuls of medical supplies she had forced into his holding. He wasn't going to worry much, and he hoped that neither did she, as he move off away from the grounds before one of the specialists spotted him.

She watched him retreat from the hospital grounds, letting out a small sigh once he had officially departed. Pins and needles was the only way she could describe how she ended up after talking with him for any small amount of time. Feeling a little chilled, Mi decided it was time to go back to her training, injury or not. Obviously he was still out and about doing what he needed to do. She was going to apply herself just as much as he was. I am not going to get left behind... She thought darkly. Competitiveness was in her blood. She couldn't help it. Pausing as she stood before the gates to the hospital she thought momentarily of whether or not she should enter. She could still train, that was for sure but she was going to need a sensei in medical ninjutsu no matter how hard she practiced. A guide was essential. For now she was going to practice something else. To take her mind off the sensei requirement. Moving away from the hospital, she wander back towards the waterfall. Needing to establish a better offensive.

"Ugh, I hate hospitals." Akio mumbled as he entered the foreboding, disinfected building that was always full of the sick, dying, or sick and dying. He did a quick scan of the hospital before he left, definitely sure that no one would ever spy on a hospital.

Mi ended up exactly back where she had set off from. Of course, up one mission and points. Walking around the back of the hospital and out towards the back, she beelined straight for the back entrance. She did not want to meet the head nurse. The woman was as terrifying as she was bossy. Moving to open the door, someone beat her to the punch. The same person she was trying to avoid had beat her there, her arms crossed and a dark expression cast across her face.
"I thought we taught you better than that!" Mi flinched and hung her head, looking more like a child who had been caught with their hand in the cookie jar than anything. The nurse looked her up and down once and then spotted her bandaged arm. Reaching out, she grabbed a hold of her elbow, bringing the wounded arm close to her face for further inspection. "What did you do now?" The woman asked, Mi pulling back a little. She tried to hide her bandaged arm underneath her cloak but the nurse wouldn't allow it. "Training accident, I just need some base solution to counter it." The nurse looked a little dumbfounded, sighing and ushering her in. Mi followed behind her, allowing her to lead the way. Once they were to a room with endless supplies, Mi browsed through the categories, looking for something mild. Finding it, she pulled out some of the solution and prepared a little bowl for herself. Unwrapping the bandage, she noticed the welts had begun to crack open along the edges. Putting a little drop of the basic solution into the water, she began to carefully sponge the areas where she had spilled on her arm. In practice this technique was dangerous. She could only imagine what would happen when she finally used it in battle.

It was time to resume training. Mi slipped out into the hallway, making sure to avoid the head nurse like always. She stalked the halls, peeking in on patients and reading their boards to check and see if she could be of service to any of them. Upon entering the room of one ailing man, she was startled when he had woken up, reaching out and grasping her re bandaged arm. Mi refrained from letting out a cry and stared down at the place where his grip was secured around her arm. It was almost fascinating to her. Finally moving her gaze up to his own, she started a staring contest, waiting to see who would speak up first. "It hurts miss. Please help." Mi was unsure of what to do. This man was suffering from something that was out of her jurisdiction. He continued to ask her for help. Mi obliged, settling on the chair beside his bed.

[1]Mi did not know what was wrong with her patient. The clipboard was bare meaning he had just been admitted and there was not a priority to see him yet. Still, he was in pain. There had been a technique she had been wanting to try out since she had watched bats screeching for prey after hours. Echo location was a good way to 'see' things. Why not try and use it with chakra instead. Mi used one hand signal, activating her chakra reserves.

[2] Placing her hands over his chest, she poured her chakra into him, using the skin to skin contact. The chakra ran into all of his system, Mi closing her eyes and guiding it. One she had ran a course through him, she called back her chakra, flinching as it returned to her. It was used and would no longer provide any use, however it had given her a good view of the inside of him.

[3] This man was suffering from a lot of symptoms brought about by old age but there was something that was abnormal and didnt go on par with his old age. His lymphatic system was off, something clearly wrong and the muscles were contracting painfully. Mi opened her eyes and scowled.

[1] Mi sighed and decided to try another technique she had been itching to test out. This was something that could potentially prove harmful to the patient but this old man was going to be in a lot more pain before anyone figured out what was wrong, figure out what to do and carry out the procedure to righting him. Mi accumulated chakra in her hand, the redish glow enveloping her hand and flickering like an lit flame.

[2]It was not necessarily something that was easily done but Mi was really good at controlling her Chakra. The man flinched, turning on his side. Mi flicked her wrist a few times, try to collect the chakra in a more concentrated location in her palm. The chakra began to condense until it was centered in the middle of her palm. Lifting his arm with her free hand, she set the chakra ball on his skin, just above his chest and to the side of his arm pit.

[3] His lymph nodes were not functioning properly, most likely the oxidation for the blood was off. Whatever the case, his muscles were contracting at various intervals, going unnoticed unlike seizures. She had to release some of the chemicals that were causing this imbalance. Before the chakra flame could go out, she began to pump more of her chakra around the little flickering light, with both of her hands.

[4] A sort of barrier was formed around it as the chakra stayed in a fixed location. Mi continued to feed the small, cup shaped, barrier for about another two minuets. Once she removed it, the chakra dispersed, a small reddish spot was the only thing that remained after her endeavor. Mi looked up at her patient, looking to see if he was still troubled by pain. The old man had fallen to sleep. Getting up, Mi moved to a stats board at the corner of the room and scribbled information on it for the doctors. He was in their hands now.

Mi was back, the ghostly woman staring up at the back door she had used countless times as her entry point. Opening the door, she was not surprised to see a stocky elderly woman blocking her entrance. She had her arms crossed across her chest and her expression was one of murder. Mi gulped, this one woman having more effect on her than her own Mizukage. "I'm back.."'Wack'! The sound echoed around them. Mi's head procured a sort of bump, the Head Nurses fist was still clenched even after having just struck her full force. "You look like you have been dragged across villages and the first thing you say is 'I'm back'?! Get inside and straight to a room!"The Nurse ordered, ushering Mi in with a hard tug of her bony arm. Mi allowed herself to be bullied, her gaze unchanged despite the uncomfortable glances being shot in her direction from all of the staff and few wandering patients. Mi was led into a room and checked in. The Head Nurse ordered her to shower and change her clothes. Following her orders, Mi used the shower, allowing the hot water to roll over her sore muscles. Leaning her forehead against the wall, she stayed immobile for awhile before even moving to lather herself up in soap. After getting dressed she took a seat at the end of the bed, laying back diagonally across its small frame. Sleep was all she wanted and in the instant she had closed her eyes she had already drifted off.

Their slow pace was very agonizing to Mi. She had been moving about non stop since the meeting with her active Shinobi and such a contrast to that pace was allowing for her fatigue to set in. As they approached the hospital Mi paused to turn and look at the Anbu who had escorted them both here. "You are on standby until further notice." Mi asked her escort. The Anbu stood motionless for a few seconds before bowing stiffly and then disappearing in a torrent of stirred up mist. Mi approached the stranger, taking her mask off as she did so. She let out a sigh of relief, the cool, damp air feeling wonderful against her skin. Stuffing the mask into the bag at her hip she studied the alien for a second longer before moving closer to his so that she was standing off to the side of him. Placing a hand on his shoulder blade she gently prodded him forward and into the hospital doors.

A few of the Nurses on stand by turned to look at them as they entered. They were silent and immobile until they noticed the bloodied bandages. They moved immediately once they realized they had a potential patient. The Nurses steered the stranger away, bringing him closer into the hospital. A Nurse approached Mi then, older and by far the most stern looking of the Nurses.
"Take him to a private room, away from windows. He has lacerations on his chest and back and apparently a case of amnesia so we should probably call in a head specialist. Do not use any sedatives he is still under questioning." The Nurse looked miffed by Mi's sudden commanding tone but said nothing outright and just nodded, turning to bark her orders at the Nursing staff at call. Mi followed behind the Nurses as she ushered the new patient toward the receiving room where he would be prepped. Mi did not enter with them but hung back until he was ready to be looked at.

| 鬼 | Yokai says,

He took her face in for a brief moment before the nurses swooped down on him. Geh?! Yeee! he was prodded onto a bed and the Nurses stripped him of his jacket and shirt, one of them giving the shirt a tsk and simply throwing it away "Ah..." he wilted slightly but sat up straight as a Nurse pushed at the bottom of his spine to get him upright. They began stripping the paper off and he managed to sneak a piece before it all went in the trash.
The wound went through the front of his chest, just under his sternum, through his lungs and out the back, cutting through two ribs. His lungs, amazingly, were unharmed. All in all, it was an easily treated wound as the nurses worked on closing the wounds and mending the split ribs. He went to scratch his chest as it healed but a Nurse smacked his hand lightly and he dropped it "Sorry..." he said, managing a crooked smile. He sat still as they worked on his wound, lifting his arms so they could wrap clean bandages around his chest "Thank you..." He sat in silence as the Nurses left, finally deciding on what to call himself. He had no clue what his name was and, frankly If someone shanked me through the chest...I doubt I would like the person I was... he thought, rubbing his cheek with a finger. He'd decided to go with the word that was drifting around his head, one of the ONLY words Yokai... he tilted his head back and sighed at the ceiling "I wonder why...?" he mumbled and dropped his hands into his lap. Yokai leaned sideways on the bed, wondering where the girl from earlier had gone to The Anbu left but...I think she stayed behind... he wanted to speak to her, though about what he didn't know, but suspected she wasn't waiting for a chat Nail removal... he thought and look at his nails, wondering for a few seconds.

The Nurses filed out of the room, each going off in different directions now that their task was done. Only one remained and she was the one in charge of overseeing the patient for the duration of the day periodically. In her hands was a clipboard, notes jotted down in illegible print for her and anyone who check the patient over to leaf through. It was also to keep tabs on who did what to him. Where the age, sex and name section of the paper stood only one thing had been accounted for. Mi scowling. Well. That was a start. He was in fact a male. The specialist in head trauma arrive, the doctor cloaked in an odd looking parka of some sort. It made him look like a ghost, another reason why Mi refused to assume the role as a doctor. Having gathered the people and things she needed she knocked lightly on the door, opening the door in quick succession to that. Peeking into the room she stared at the patient, making sure he was properly bedded and dressed. "We are going to have someone check you out... here..." Mi said, pointing to her own skull. She was not asking for permission but was giving him the courtesy of knowing what it was that was going to be done to him. It was the humane thing to do. The specialist took their cue and walked over to the right side of his bed. The doctors chakra was light green in color and once that aura had accumulated in his hands he moved his hands around the patients head. He went in a slow clockwise motion going over the strangers head at least three times before he finished. The specialist dropped his hands and turned to look at Mi, his mouth pressed firmly into a straight line. "So... you really cannot recall anything about where you come from, who you are or why you are here? How can I trust that you will not harm the citizens of this village or try and steal our secrets?"Mi asked, the specialist taking this as his cue and exiting the room.

| 鬼 | Yokai says,

Yokai sat up sharply from his slump and sat at attention as the doctor walked around him. He eyed the man nervously but What can he find that I can't? There's nothing up here... he cleared his throat as the woman spoke "I...No...I can't remember anything about myself..." he fiddled with his fingers for a moment then looked at her again "I don't know where I came from. I don't know my name though I've given myself one for now..." at the mention of harming anyone and stealing, he visibly wilted at the thought "I-! I may not know who I am but I'm not a thief and I'm no murderer. I wouldn't do that...you...you brought me here and helped me. There's no way I would...I won't do any of that..." he looked at his hands again, frustrated. He couldn't give her any reasons to trust him because he didn't have anything to promise "I don't know who I am...but I can be who I want to be....and I don't want to be the type of person who steps on the hospitality of a stranger." Yokai finally met her eyes. His were a strange combination of green, gold and flecks of purple and they seemed darker as he gripped his hands together tightly in his lap "Maybe it doesn't count for much...but I'll never lay a finger on anyone in this village. I'll never look at what you don't want me to see. I won't even touch what you don't want me to touch...because you helped me..." he swallowed and dropped his eyes again, nerves and frustration overcoming him once more "And..uhm...I've decided to call myself Y-Yokai...for the time..."

Mi watched as he grew antsy from her questioning. Her gaze was level as she studied his floundering, looking for some sign of the lie that would give him away; if he was lying. He seemed genuine and grateful for the treatment given to him but she was still on edge. Trusting even though she wanted to was against what her title entitled her to do. Still. He was on there turf now. He met her gaze then, Mi holding his own and searching through his eyes for any sign of treachery as he assured her once more that he was not going to harm the village or anyone else who resided in it. In the time since her initial asking of his name he had created one for himself as well, Mi silently listening to him the entire time without interruption. "...I've decided to call myself Y-Yokai...for the time..." Her calm and detached expression twitched to life at that last part, her brow raising in a silent quizzical jibe. "Yokai as in demon?" She asked mildly.

Mi moved to sit at the foot of his bed, her gaze resting on the bandages that had been wrapped around his upper and mid torso. Mi made a hand sign and used her Diagnosis pulse once more, scooting a little bit closer to place her index finger on the binding. Closing her eyes she saw the damage once more, looking for infection now. It was clear. Slowly, she opened her eyes, looking half in thought as she scooted back to the corner edge of his bed. She dropped her hands into her lap, clasping one gingerly. Would it go against her better judgement to allow him to stay despite his mysterious circumstances? Would it be frowned upon by the council if she pulled this move? She tugged at the hem of her shirt as she tried to decide what the next move was.
"We can have your bones re-set for you. It will be painful, however. " She didn't look at him as she spoke, her mind running in a different direction than her words and choice of topic. I'll speak to Alyzar. He will take my side, surely. Her conclusion was just that. Turning her head to look at Yokai, she tried to smile for him. It was very stiff and unnatural looking, Mi having practiced how to feign smiles from Satoshi, the previous Mizukage and her previous teacher. "My name is Mi Young Roo, Mi for short." She said, trying to move things in a lighter direction so that he could rest a little more. "For now you will not be able to leave this room without an escort of sorts. I'll arrange for one of the Shinobi to act as your guide. I wont restrict you from looking around the village, should you feel inclined to get a feel for your surroundings. I do not believe that taking your given rights as a human being will serve anyone good. Fresh air and new experiences might allow for you to remember who you were. If that is what you wish. In most cases... amnesia pertains more to ones self." Mi had mulled over the thought that he might have been forced into the state he was in but at the moment she would not pursue the thought. If he was really as blank as he acted then there was no immediate rush.

"Those wounds... It seems as if you were involved in a fight of sorts. Now a days only Shinobi acquire that type of damage. It could very well be that you are a Shinobi from a different village." She stopped there, measuring his reaction to her deduction. It was highly possible that was the case. If so she was going to have to send someone to the other villages to look into missing Shinobi from their villages and if any matched Yokai's description. If he was a rouge there would be many problems that would arise from that.

| 鬼 | Yokai says,

Yokai flushed as she pointed out the obvious "Yes...I've got this...this string of words going round and round in my head." he rubbed the back of his neck and scooted back as she sat on the end of the bed. He cursed his own jumpiness and tried to relax "Anyway...the words kind of form a sentence...I don't think I liked whoever I was." he chuckled, not a very happy sound. At the mention of re-setting his bone, he shook his head "Its fine...they'll heal on their own when its their time." He fiddled with part of the sheet on the bed An escort...well....even if its kind of like a watch dog, it means I'll have someone who can talk to me about this place. He nodded at her words but at the mention of amnesia he frowned "That's...I...I'm sorry but I don't...I don't think its that. Amnesia, I mean..." he pulled his legs up and sat criss cross "Amnesia is...its where you can't remember anything, right? But I can remember...just nothing pertaining to me." he moved his hands as he talked, gesturing to his head "Age, name, village, family, friends...none of that is there. Neither is how I grew up or where or even if I liked where I grew up. But...." he looked at his hands and performed a single string of hand signs. He didn't put any chakra behind it so nothing happened but it was obvious what he was doing "I know how to do this...I know how to perform jutsu...how to cast...I can even remember bits of scrolls I seem to have read..." Yokai dropped his hands into his lap again and looked at her "Amnesia isn't selective like that...is it?" he asked. The thought of being a rogue never crossed his mind, probably because he didn't know his village and he'd been dying. Someone tried to kill him, left him to die...maybe they hoped that he wouldn't wake up and would simply die outside the gates of Kirigakure. His fingers rubbed the bloody paper he'd snitched from the trash pile, one that had been peeled of his chest Even though someone tried to save me...There was never any guarantee someone would find me...right? he rubbed his thumb on the paper, feeling the dried blood wrinkle it.

He informed her that he might have not liked the previous person he was which only made her believe that maybe he had in fact willingly succumb to amnesia of this extent. When he described to her that it was only subjective to himself only and details about himself it gave her a small hope a forewarning that maybe they were indeed onto something. She decided it would be better to withhold some things from him for the time being. If a Jutsu of some sort was in play than they should not tamper with anything until they knew who was backing such a thing. As he explained that he was able to utilize jutsu and recall jutsu Mi coaxed an eyebrow again. Whatever was going on with Yokai was extremely selective. She remained attentive and silent as he finished speaking and she made no move to break the silence once he settled into himself, most likely lost in thought. At least she hoped that was all it was. She had allowed him to find solace in Kirigakure but trusting him was another matter entirely. A Chuunin from her own village was under suspicion because of his extent disappearance. It was only logical that she would feel the same way about this mysterious man. "It can be a little hard to manage in this village but Kirigakure is a good place to take a breather in. Whoever you were before and the person you are now are welcomed here, so long as you follow the guidelines I have set for you. You know some Jutsu, maybe once you are feeling up to it we can find out what your skills are and just how far you have gotten." Mi did not use age as a factor for determining rank. He looked as young as she did so she would not underestimate his skills based solely on the appearance of his age. The curiosity in Mi had burned even more than before. She wanted to find out who Yokai was, not only for the purpose of the villages safety but for her own personal reasons. Guilt rolled over her in waves. She was not supposed to want or think about anything other than the village. It's about time I leave... Her feet felt like led and her head ached slightly. There was so much to take care of. Getting to her feet she turned to look at Yokai once again, meeting his oddly colored eyes once more. "I'll be seeing you around more than you will care to so if you have any questions or concerns you can wait till our next meeting or ask around for me." Mi did not mention during the whole conversation that she was the Mizukage and she did not care to do so at this time. It would only send him into a further panic.

The hospital... Another familiar location. Kouhei entered with an Anbu not more than a foot from him. It appeared that he was still not trusted... Regardless, he had finished training his own student and not long after the Anbu had come to take him to the Mizukage. It seemed ridiculous to have to have the Anbu follow him back. He could find his way for himself, and he wasn't so untrustworthy that there was a fear of him wreaking havoc. Hopefully this was more that particular individual, the Anbu, being overly careful than it was the Mizukage had ordered him to follow so closely. Regardless of the reason, the Anbu lead him to the room of the hospital where the Mizukage and a mysterious man happened to be. Kouhei was only vaguely sure of what his purpose was here... The Anbu had mentioned a bit about the mysterious man with no memory, but Kouhei wasn't entirely sure why they needed him, another Shinobi under suspicion, to help out. It seemed strange, but it was an assignment and Kouhei would do it without question.

Smoking was not allowed in hospitals, else Kouhei would have pulled his kiseru from his waist for another smoke. The kiseru was what Kouhei was most glad to come back to in the Shinobi world... It was bad for his health, but smoking it relaxed all of his muscles, which in turn increased the effectiveness of his Genjutsu. The Anbu had left the room, and so Kouhei spoke. "You requested my presence, Madame Kage?" he wasn't entirely sure how else to phrase the fact that the Anbu had brought him here, but it was probably very obvious. Regardless, Kouhei felt the need to somehow mention that he wasn't randomly popping in which his Anbu buddy, or something of the sort. His eyes wandered to that of the other person in the room, whom he did not recognize. From Kouhei's experience all day with Genin, this man didn't look like he was a new Shinobi... Kouhei did not know who he was, or why Kouhei had been called here in the first place, but what he did know was that there was no way that man was just another cocky new Genin for Kouhei to babysit... Contrary to his initial thoughts when the Anbu had come to pick him up.
