Satoshi nodded with a smile when he saw the techniques that Mi had taken from the bag. The Body Flicker technique was one that he wanted his Genin to know. It's a skill with limitless versatility. A personal choice that Satoshi had made early in his career as a shinobi. "That's right.." Satoshi said thinking about the impending exams. They had come at the worst time considering the progress that their team had made so far. "Very soon, Genin from all over the land will travel to Iwagakure to register." Satoshi said. He hoped that the Mist's own Genin would do more than pass. Kirigakure was a village that fully encorporated the 'Hidden' part of their name. Satoshi knew that the Mist's name had a certain reputation. It was this reputation that he hoped the Genin would preserve. "Are you ready?" Satoshi asked Alzayr, turning to look at him.

It really was a hassle to sit here and try to attempt learn these techniques without the scroll. He remembered most of them certainly, but the more chains in the hand seals a jutsu possessed the more he began to mix them all together. "Sato-sensei. There's sumthin' at the academy, I need to pick up. I hope ya don't mind me leaving for a bit." He said in order to excuse his absence, he needed that scroll in order to master this Kekkai Genkai's stronger techniques. And without so much as another word he left, hopefully something wouldn't attack him en route there.

The man spoke of the shinobi. All over were to be gathering in the village of Iwagakure, stricken so suddenly with the assassination of their Tsuchikage. It was a village of tragedy, it had seemed, yet it wasn't something to worry about. It wasn't like they were next on the list, but he couldn't help but quiver with anticipation.
"I have some things I still have to go over... Extensively, but I can't say I'm unprepared, ya know?" the monk began, as he was already fishing a scroll out from his sash. He'd worry about his blood when he made it to enemy territory. A grand trump card that none would know he had! How his master would smile in approval above, when he would shift for the first time. "Still got some sword work to do, and some martial arts, really."

Then the question arose in his mind. The others? Their skills. "I wonder... Uhh... The others? You know much about them?" the monk inquired with curiosity. It was hard pressed to know how they'd work with one another, while all he knew was his own skill with a sword. "We should probably go before the day is up..."

Totally into her training now, Mi forgot she was under supervision and ventured further away from the group. She was desperately trying not to freeze to death or get a case of hypothermia. As the young woman continued to wad in the water her mind was whirring. At the exams she was going to have to really strategize against her opponents. What she lacked in brawn she was going to have to make up with her wits. This proved as a major problem for the girl. She was not a stupid person but her attention span was null. Of course in life or death situations she was sure to put a lot more attention into what she was doing but that was just her guess. Realizing she was spacing out again, she flexed her toes to get them to unfreeze. Next on the list...

[1/4]
Going back to the shallows, she read over the borrowed scroll carefully, making sure everything was interpreted correctly. She was going to try Mizu no Muchi, Water whip was its literal translation. This technique was going to be coupled with her water shield should Mi need to have a grand enough defensive distraction. Wadding into the water once again, she went through the process once more before getting ready to waste her chakra on it. Taking a deep breath she calmed her nerves. Having done so she activated her chakra.
"Mizu no Muchi.."She mumbled. She outstretched her pale arm and went through the motion as if she was chucking something at someone. Nothing happened which left the girl slightly disheartened. Not giving up, she gathered her wits and tried once again.

[2/4]
"Mizu no Muchi.." Mi used a slightly more powerful spurt of chakra which produced a pleasing result. Cold water trickled up her arm, something Mi was not sure was supposed to happen. Concentrating carefully, she kept her power in check, prompting the water to wrap around her wrist. Even though the liquid should not have felt solid, when the girl griped the bit in her hand it felt solid enough to wield. Smirking impishly she shot her arm outwards, flicking her wrist as she did so. The action was too swift and the water reverted to it's lifeless state, plopping back into the water and wetting Mi some more. Growling, she tried again.

[3/4]
"Mizu no Muchi!"Her voice was practically a whisper. The water shot up and around her arm, snaking its way to her wrist and seeming to band itself around it. Automatically holding onto that somehow hard portion in her hand she raised her arm slowly. The whip like train of water followed obediently this time, the movement much slower than before. Casting her arm back, the whip still followed without complaint. It hung behind her back, Mi struggling to keep herself from getting to excited and blowing it once more. Lurching her arm forward, she shot it out, directing the point she was aiming at by the bank.

[4/4]
The whip snaked out, the water adjusting to the distance and lashing out at what Mi had been aiming for, her bag. A small slash opened up as the contents of her belongings poured out. Nothing important except for her herbal jars. Mi winced and pulled her arm back a little bit, guiding the whip so that it was at her side, hanging lifeless once again. Turning slightly, she drew an 'X' in the air, the whip holding it's shape and slashing right and left a the vast area of space around her. Although freezing on the outside, Mi's body was warming up significantly, her breath coming out in puffs from her overexertion of efforts. What was easy for others to pick up on, took Mi a little longer to learn. She smiled, innocently as she mentally scratched off another technique.

Resigning himself to a little more work, Alzayr stepped back to give the man a chance to answer when he had compiled something a bit more comprehensive, as the question was rather... Prying. Nonetheless, Zay opened the scroll of Sazanami, and read over the first two techniques.

[1/3]

His feet moved oddly. Were the injuries he'd accumulated throughout the day finally beginning to catch up with him? The world spun, and despite the Hakemoto tranquility, it was disorientating. The young monk's feet moved, but it just didn't seem right.

[2/3]

At long last, the monk seemed to have the technique proper. His feet were a minor distance, and he readied himself. It was casual, but well enough. A grin on his face was betrayed, as he winced ever so slightly. Not so much as winced, as fell back with a groan.

Deciding to take a small break before finishing off her training goal for the session, she picked up her packs and made her way back to the others. There was one of them missing now. Makoto, or something like that. Roly poly had joined their group now, a devious smirk plastering itself across Mi's face. Coaxing her head to one side, she watched as he positioned himself in the most awkward of ways. Even though the way he was standing was different than 'normal' he was moving a little stiffer than most. Mi had read vigorously about the human anatomy and muscle tension was a big give away to strain of the body.
"Roly Poly, are you feeling sick in anyway that differs from your day to day insanity?"Although her words were usually taken as rude, this was Mi being polite to people her own age. She didn't move closer to him even though she was talking to him. Instead she stared down at him and reached into her bag, rummaging through it. There was as scroll she wanted to try out. He was a perfect person to use it on.

Rolly Polly? It was the absent minded woman, who was approaching him. He was quite a bit sore, but nonetheless... Day to day insanity? Why, life wasn't madness! It was glorious adventures and a chance to prove one's self! His hand waved it off as if it were nothing.
"Well, today was just a bit of me throwing everything I've got around," Alzayr laughed a bit, as the man angled his head, to look at the source of the sound. It was an oddity. "Let's see here though... Today's training injuries include... Well.. Let's see... There was the hot spring that I fell into, and then the bucket which tripped me into the wall. Hit the ground twice here before going to the dojo, probably bruised my side and nose on the tree... Then there was the kid with the right hook outside the dojo." It was quite phenomenal. Despite all the injuries the monk had received, he had already gone ahead and pushed the pain mostly out of his mind, as he listed the incidents of just today alone.

Listening to his adventure, Mi displayed a thoughtful expression as she continued to fish something out of her bag. Finding it at the bottom, she dragged it out. Dropping the bag immediately she forgot about the various jars she had in there and lurched for it. Too slow, the bag hit the ground and a loud clunkering and crunching sound alerted her that she was going to have to be careful reaching into the bag until she emptied it out again. Staring down at the bag she shrugged and then cast a wary glance at Roly Poly. She was not really good at asking people for favors and this was a big favor indeed. Using someone as a practice dummy to train was dangerous. "Can I use your body for science?"She asked him, taking a small step forward. She held out the scroll that allowed her to learn Chiyute No Jutsu: Karui. Peeking over it she looked down at him, measuring his reaction to her request.

The monk watched entirely, as the clumsy, antisocial ADD kunoichi began to reach into her bag. She withdrew a scroll, unfortunately it had been a negative effect, as the rest of her bag's contents smashed upon the ground, and her gaze returned to him. The monk thought a moment, as her question came up. His body used for science? In short, she wanted to practice on him. Most would disagree, after seeing the fiasco with the bag.
"Can I use your time for a meal?" Alzayr joked, as he nodded in agreement to her inquiry. It would be interesting to see her reaction, to such a forward statement. It wasn't like he expected anything remotely similar to a yes. Hell, he didn't even know her name. Nonetheless, it was a bit humorous.

Satoshi nodded to Makoto as he left. He was surely out to retrieve scrolls from his clan. He knew this for he had not taken any jutsu scrolls from the bag. Alzayr seemed to come off as seasoned. His confidence was not backed by pride which entailed his extensive training. Alzayr was sure to hold his own in the exams. Being in a squad or team was not required in the exams and Satoshi did not worry about him. His question had caught Satoshi off guard. He had just recently gathered these Genin and did not know much about them. What further shamed him was the fact that he did not attempt to get to know them better. As he thought about a response, Mi had seemed to finish her set of jutsu and approached him and Alzayr. She seemed to be interested in Alzayr. She called him something that was not his name. Did she dislike him? Mi asked if he was sick although he looked alright to Satoshi. Alzayr then spoke of his minute injuries that he had concurred during his experiences the same day. Mi then had reached into a container and dropped it after a failed attempt to catch it. This worried Satoshi. Alone, Mi seemed not much of an obstacle. She then asked Alzayr for his assistance as a jutsu subject. It was Alzyr's reply that brought out a smile from Sato. Well placed and executed. Satoshi smiled as he watched the two with a single eye.

Mi was not usually backed into corners, although spacey, she knew how to protect herself from peoples quibs with her own verbal barbs. Blinking her apparent confusion she coaxed her head to one side, looking a little distressed by his question. There were many ways one could interpert this. He was either A) Trying to get under her skin. B) Was asking her out to eat C) Wanted her to cook something. The gears in Mi's brain were working full force now. None of her peers ever wasted their time to even approach her in a sense other than to ask her what her name was again. Settling on the latter she fidgited hesitantly. "I can't cook."Was her curt response to his question. Having been given the go to use him as a test subject, she approached him cautiously. Roly Poly had been nothing but himself from the start. Loud and obnoxious. Mi herself was a little odd but he took it to a slightly more exhubarant level. He was perfect to work on. No doubt he was allowing her to work on him just because he was interested to see the results or for personal gain should she succeed in her atempts. There was no doubt in the latter. "Please lie straight out for me, arms at your sides if you can manage." Already she was moving on from her momentairy social awkwardness. When things that had anything to do with medicines came into play she was totally serious, completley more alert than her normal everyday deemenor. She had to be in order to cast her lot.

[1/3]
Mi prepared herself, going to her knees and stretching out the scroll between Roly Poly and herself. Staring at it, she read and re-read it, not wanting to get this wrong in any way shape or form.
"Are you comfortable Roly Poly?"Mi asked him, still not glancing at him, her muddy red eyes glued to the parchment. Holding her hands over the parchment, parallel to each other, she slowly focused her chakra into her hands. Chakra percision and control was crucial at this stage of her training. It took at lot less time than usual, the red color that marked her unique chakra color began to engulf her hands. It was visable to anyone who happened to be watching. Handing the flow for a minuet or so, she let out the breath that she had been unconciously holding and sat back on her legs. Finaly glancing at her test dummy she attempted a reassuring smile at him, a fail on her part. "Are you ready...?"

It was clear that none had really made an effort to spend time with the absent minded medic. The look was just as grand as he could have imagined, the way she lacked her social skills. He'd have to fix that ad they worked together a bit more. It seemed she'd come to some kind of conclusion; however her lack of abilities in cooking didn't matter much to him. He wanted to laugh, but his brief and rather sloth-like censor over his tongue actually worked at this point, as shocking as it was! He smiled a bit, as he shifted his limbs about lazily, as the girl instructed. He felt like a cadaver, which was something he had technically volunteered to be.

”That’s okay there, lady. We can get somethin’ from a vendor,” Alzayr laughed, as the girl was already preparing for her practicing. If he were of any other descent, Zay would likely have declined. Something gone wrong with a medical technique was a bad thing to experience, but there were supportive forms to fix that, just in case. "Well, I'm ready when you are." Nonsense! This kunoichi had no name to him at this point, and here he was, allowing her to practice upon him. Something wasn't right, but he wasn't about to worry.

The squad was all training and now Sid figured it was time to learn an elemental jutsu. He had peeked at the scroll for the doton technique. "Alright now, I'm gonna work on that one." He paid no attention to the details of what was happening around him, he just knew they were training.

[ 1/3-4?]
Sid breathed in deeply and slowly released the air. He took a seat on the ground where he was and began to focus on the hand signs that were required for the jutsu. Then he began to clumsily string them together as he remembered them. He was unfamiliar with these jutsu compared to manipulating his bones.

Satoshi had his arms crossed as he watched the sun in the sky. Time was going by and he had an announcement for the Genin. He thought about waiting for Makoto to return but he also wanted the Genin to hear what he had to say so that it would impact their training immediately. "I want all of your attention." Satoshi began, looking to the others. "Exam registration will be closing very soon.(This Saturday) I will speak to the Mizukage personally in order to set a date for departure to Iwagakure." Satoshi looked around. "I plan on leaving tomorrow." He said.

"Don't think. Breathe."

Breath approached the waterfall again. He probably could have just gotten an apartment somewhere, but he liked sleeping here. It was peaceful. He went up to the waterfall, threw down his robe to sleep on, then fell asleep, holding his bag and staff with him.
