"Sounds weird." The king grumbled, lifting his hand to run through his hair. "How is it I have not heard of your kingdom before now? Besides the things in this book, which all may very well be fiction?"

Xaundellyn nodded, "I cannot wait to call my troops home. What a glorious day those families will have." She tugged on a long strand of her silver hair and then sat down at the desk. Pulling some parchment from a drawer she wrote out orders for the army to disperse, head home for now and to come to the wedding in a weeks time. Making three copies of the letter, she then looked at her guard and said, "I need you to take these to the riders and have them given to my generals.

"Your ancestors likely spoke of a castle hidden in the blizzards, a Castle that can be there one moment, and gone the next. A castle empty of the trappings of royalty. A castle who's walls are warm as any fireplace, even when surrounded by snow." Marcus said to the old king.

Xavier smiled then closed his eyes for a bit. He reopened them then looked at his betrothed. "Well I need to gather up my troops and tell them the news." He said as he stood up and placed his hand on his Katana and turned to the door. "Will you need me when you tell your people?" he asked looking back over his shoulder you could see his eye from the corner of his eye

A coy smile lifted her lips and she slightly narrowed her golden eyes at Xavier, "Let's get one thing straight. I don't 'need' anyone, and that includes you." And then as if she realized how rude that must have sounded, she stood and crossed towards him. Lifting her hand to caress his cheek she added, "Thank you for your concern. But I can handle my people, our people, in the southern lands, without your assistance. I have a plan already. When they freak out I will simply state that we are in love and anyone against it can either keep quiet, or leave."

The old king nodded, and then stood, his queen rising at his side. "Forgive us, but I must get the king to bed and his medicine. He is not well." She gave Marcus a cold look before shuffling the king away.

Xavier smiled and walked out to what she said "I will Leave for my homeland tonight" he said as he left the room. His red and black long jacket flowed behind him. He exited the castle as his troops were waiting for him outside they saw him and stood at attention. "Back to Camp men we head for Krynn tonight" He said as his troops cheered. They walked behind him in formation some troops were asking eachother what happened between him and The Feary people but they knew they would find out later.

As they were walking Xavier looked back at the Castle then Told his troops to go on without him. The commander reconsidered but The prince said to Leave him. He stood at the gate of the City and looked at the castle as his troops walked back to camp without him.

She watched him go and sighed, "Love. Could you ever love me, your enemy? Could I ever love you? Is there such thing as love, anyways?" Sighing once more, she sat back down and began to write out the preparations for the wedding.

[Shall we time skip to the wedding morning?]

Xaundellyn stood before a long mirror, one of the maids from the north finishing lacing up her wedding dress. Her hair was loose, hanging long down around her waist while the top was piled up and pinned with flowers. She looked at herself and continued to ignore her father as he spoke to her. "But you must understand, there is a monster among us! You can't really be going to marry your enemy. He will kill you in your sleep! Xaun! Are you even listening to me? I know the truth-" "FATHER That is enough now. Today is not a day for war details or politics. Just be happy for me."

Lenore bent, her fingers nimble as she tied Princess Xaundellyn back into her wedding dress. She had only met the Princess once before, when they were fitting the gown only days prior, and was now lacing the gown up today.
The commemoration of the bondage between the Immortals and the Fae folk. Today was the creation of history. Lenore bit her lip, holding back a sound as the Princess argued with her father.

Not only did this wedding symbolize history in the making or the peace between two warring countries, of which Lenore was glad the warring had stopped, but of the allowance of future possibilities. With this marriage constitutes that the engagement between an Immortal and Faery would indeed be legal. Lenore finished lacing up the gown with a pleased look. She thought about Ren often, as often as she could, and now that there was a possibility that she could finally be together with Ren, and be together openly was all too much for her! She hadn't seen him since she first arrived here in this foreign place since he was always away for work as a guard or on patrol.
While some supported the marriage, many were against the idea of joining the two countries. She had heard there were many attempts to kill the Prince and/or Princess since the announcement of the wedding.
So likely, Ren must be very busy and couldn't see her all too often. But she knew that one day, she would be able to see him whenever she liked to, if today went as planned.

Lenore glanced at the Fae King, bowing her head and not looking him in the eye. She was courteous, but she felt a little...heated that he be so against the Immortals and the marriage. She kept her mouth shut, knowing that if she argued out of her place, she would very likely serve painful if not severe punishments.
Lenore placed her hands together, making sure Xaundellyn's hem was suitable and that there wasn't a wrinkle out of place.

It was Ren who guarded the wedding hall. He stood by the door quietly, patiently as he watched guests file into the hall and sit in the pews. There was a constant chatter, mostly gossip, of which Ren picked up on. It was interesting to watch, in this case, but he knew he must stay atop his duties. He was cautious, knowing there were some who opposed the marriage and would just enjoy to ruin the ceremony. His hand tensed on his blade's handle, but remained hesitant. A commotion or screw up here would result in detrimental implications.

And so his trained grey eyes scanned the pools of Fae folk and Immortals alike, the Fae features of his face remaining indifferent. Yet past this was anticipation. What would the wedding welcome in the future? Ren had hoped for the better, and being on top of his duties was the only way it could all work.

Marcus appeared next to the Princess and there was a hooded cloaked figure standing next to him. "Beautiful on this momentous day, The bond Growing ever stronger, Love is here to stay, and the two kingdoms will be two no longer." Then Marcus made a gentlemanly bow to the princess and the king, as did the hooded figure. "This Your Highnesses, Is My son. Prince Morgan Ruugnalia. Born to a Faery mother with a love of all thing natural."

Then the figure lowered his hood and removed his cloak. There stood a young man of barely 18, tanned skin and the most beautiful golden eyes, shoulder length white hair, and an extra right arm. He had two perfectly formed and perfectly functional right arms, but only one left arm, his left leg bent because his heel was off the floor, the end of his left foot ringed with what looked like roots. "It is an Honor to meet you."

"Thank you, Lenore." Xaundellyn murmured, then turned towards the two new people in her dressing room. "This is highly inappropriate, for men to be in a ladies chambers." There was a quick chastisement before she held out her had, palm down, towards prince Morgan. "It is wonderful to meet you as well. I am Xaundellyn." She inclined her head and smiled. Turning back to her father she noted the strange color of his skin and frowned, "What is it now, daddy?"

The old man had turned an unhealthy shade of red, his features flustered his chest puffed out as she sputtered at the two males. "Monsters! Monsters among us! Everywhere!" He turned and hurried from the room, swearing like a crazy man as he went. "I'm telling your mother and then dying. This is all your fault, you'll be the death of me Xaundellyn!"

"Think on the rhyme young Princess, only when you know it's meaning will you know the reason for your father's distress. "I will be showing up for this wedding myself soon, and This spell will fade from here like a new moon." Marcus said. Then he vanished.

Young Morgan took the princess's hand and shook it. He did not kiss it. "Pardon my father. He's been using an illusion to interact with you all this time...He does so for his own protection."

"I do not have time to think about the rhyme right now, my Lord. I will be getting married in a matter of minutes. But I promise you, I will think about it soon. I am going to speak to my father about it." She gave a start when Morgan grabbed her hand and started shaking it. Arching one eyebrow at him she kept her hand limp and waited for him to release her. She was a princess after all, maybe a warrior, but she was still raised with certain standards, and shaking hands wasn't a common practice for her. "An illusion? How doesn't he manage that?"
PostPosted: Wed Nov 14, 2012 7:14 pm

"It Is Quite Easy. I'm far more magically inclined then even my queen is, and that is saying something." Came marcus's voice. then Marcus walked into view as his true self. his wings were folded, and he seemed to be wearing a ceremonial armor.

Morgan released the princesses hand and apologized, "Sorry, But I was raised to believe you don't kiss a woman unless you either intend to marry her, or already married her. My mother's family traditions."

"What an odd tradition," Xaundellyn murmured, and then there was a chiming from the clocktower and her eyes widened. "It is time! Alright, I am off to become married!" The excitement was clear on her face as she hefted her skirts up and took a few steps towards the door. Her mother, at that moment, rushed in looking panicked. "Darling, the minister has gone missing!"
