Herd: Buffalo herd that follows the Wandering Healers
History: When a small herd of buffalo stumbled upon a lonesome basket they were left to wonder what to do with it. After days of waiting with no signs of the basket's parents it was decided that they would care for the foal once it emerged. Specifically, Scorpia and Gemenon- an odd couple who longed for children but were unable to conceive on their own- would act as the parents. And when Caprica finally popped out of her basket they couldn't have been happier.
She was raised as one of them but never misled when it came to her heritage. Caprica knew she was a soquili and while she certainly did wonder about her biological parents the buffalo herd was always her family. Gemenon and Scorpia were good about giving Caprica opportunities to interact with her own kind as well. Whenever the herd came across other soquili they would ask if she could play with their foals or if they wouldn't mind answering some questions she had. It was important to them that she experience not only their own customs and traditions but those of her own kind so she never felt like she had missed out on something in her youth. Caprica lived a blissful and blessed foalhood.
Buff bros show up. Gets a crush on Reina. Asclepia shows up as a foal.

Drawn to unusual soq and those with a strong connection to nature. She prefers the more classic-looking orchids but also has a deep love of the really weird ones no one pays attention to.

History: Life wasn't necessarily difficult for Elaheh in the beginning, it's just that her father wasn't exactly prepared to care for two foals mostly on his own. He struggled to keep track of them and they struggled to understand why it wasn't okay to peer over the edge of a dangerously sheer cliff. But he was determined to raise them and raise them well. And with just a little help from their mother he did. The two survived foalhood and became relatively well-rounded, well-tempered adults. (who knows maybe some crazy stuff happened that I should plot out with someone)
While her brother saw adulthood as a reason to set off on his own, Elaheh decided to stay with their father. After all, someone needed to look after him now that he was free of foal-rearing duties.

History: idfk about her foalhood. As a young adult she hears about Cir and is curious so she checks that s**t out. Meets Cir, thinks this is pretty rad and Cir needs land-dwelling soq to help her with her sea-witch business so Delphina gets to be her first little helper. Runs around gathering gossip for Cir and stuff.
Meets Antheia along the way, has a fun little romp with her and baskets happen.
Delphina decides kids make the best minions and raises one of the baskets under Cir's guidance.
