Saphira opened the door to her large office and sat at her desk. There were a couple large piles of folders filled with papers on top of it. All the folders were differen profiles of children and their home life situations. In order to make more money, even though she didn't need it, Saphira became a social worker. She liked the idea of being able to help children and teenagers out of rough situations.
When morning came Saphira woke up to find she had fallen asleep in the middle of looking over one of the cases. She had only gotting a few done before shee fell asleep and decided to just continue where she left off. After making some phone calls she finished her work and put the folders away in the filing cabinet..

Leila

Leila was back to full energy when she woke with the sunrise. It was a conditioned response from her twelve-going-on-thirteen years as a slave. No matter how little sleep she'd gotten, she would always wake at dawn. She folded up the blankets she'd slept under and set the pillow on top of them in a corner of the couch. She'd put them away after checking on Saphira. She headed down the hall to the closed door she remembered Saphira had said was her office and rapped timidly on the door. "Mistress Saphira? May I be permitted to enter?" she called quietly.

Saphira was asleep with her head on her desk when she heard a knock on her door and Leilas voice. Yeah,its fine. She said not lifting her head. Saphira had been up for a long time after she finshed all her work. She couldn't sleep for a while but obviously at some point she had passed out. After a moment Saphira groaned and lifted her head and rubbed her eyes.

"Thank you," Leila said quietly, opening the door. "Is there anything I can do for you this morning, Mistress Saphira?" she asked.

After Saphira rubbed the sleep from her eyes she looked at Leila with a smile. Yes, could you bring me a glass of A+ blood from the fridge. All the bags are labeled. Throughout the day Saphira drank different types of blood and she found A+ blood woke her up the best.

Leila nodded. "Yes, Mistress Saphira," she said. She went to the kitchen and found the blood where Saphira had specified it would be. She poured it into a glass, put the glass on a small tray, and carried it back to Saphira's office. "Here you are, Mistress Saphira."

Saphira was standing in front of one of her large windows when Leila came back. She turned and faced her. Thank you. She grabbed the glass from the tray and took a drink of it. She gave a sigh of relief when she began to feel alive or at least as alive as vampire could feel.

"Is there anything else I can do for you, Mistress Saphira?" Leila asked. She wished she wasn't so timid in her current form, but there was nothing for it. That had been the purpose of the bi-monthly transformation after all.

The castle needs some cleaning but it doesn't have to be perfect, and don't worry about the tower. The gardens also needs some tending to. Saphira replied as she looked back out the window. That's all for right now. Oh, and feel free to make yourself something to eat. She added before taking another drink of the blood.

Leila nodded, cataloguing what Saphira told her in her head so she wouldn't forget anything. "Yes, Mistress Saphira. I'll get right to that. Thank you."

Saphira nodded and went over to her desk. She had some phone calls to make that she couldn't put off any longer. After making the phone calls Saphira left her office and went to her room. I need to change. She muttered looking thorugh her large walk in closet. Saphira was glad she kept her room organized because if she didn't she wouldn't be able to find the door with as many clothes as she had. After a while Saphira came walking out of her closet wearing a black corset that fluffed out at the bottom and went to he middle of her thighs. Going down stairs Saphira stopped on the stairs and decided to try something different. She climbed the stairs again and slid down the railing. That's a lot faster then walking. She said then turned on some music.

Leila

Leila went to the kitchen and made herself a quick snack, then she went to start her work. She decided to start in the gardens so she wouldn't end up tracking dirt inside after having cleaned the floors. Going out into the gardens, Leila felt like she'd stepped into one of those fairytales her past masters had made her read to their children. There were so many beautiful flowers and trees. There was even a small herb garden near the wall. But Saphira was right: they did need some work. The rose bushes needed to be pruned, and all the plants needed to be watered.

Saphira walked into the kitchen and get her glass in the sink. She leaned against the counter for a moment then with a sigh she walked into the spacious living room. She could see Leila in the garden and smiled at how well she was making it look. That's the best I've seen it in a while. Saphira commented sounding impressed.
