Teddy's ears drooped further.
Why was she acting this way? She thinks he deceived her?

Teddy got down on all fours and crawled over to Ella. He placed a hand on her arm and tried to look into her eyes.
"Ella... I don't know what's going on. All I know is that I woke up in that crater, you helped me, and named me Teddy. I wouldn't want to hurt you after all of that."
Teddy crawled over to Ella's side and sat next to her. He sat there for a few seconds before he laid his head on Ella's shoulder.

Martini leaned up. His head really hurt. Everything was blurry and far too bright. Yep, he was hungover. He blinked drowsily. Rain wasn't in the bed next to him... Of course not. Why would she be? She's over at Gareth's house with their children. He groaned as he lazily pulled on his daily ensemble, practically falling down the stairs as he went to the kitchen to prepare a nice glass of Hair-of-the-Dog. He looked over to his newspaper. A strange crash at the White Manor? His curiosity was ignited, now reading the article with interest as he sipped the drink. Interesting... Although he didn't want to have to go over there himself. The mother was so overworked, and her daughter was always sleeping around... But he figured he had to, being a knight and all. He put on a pair of sunglasses to defend himself from the terrible daylight as he walked outside, heading to the White Manor.

Ella looked up at Teddy and tried to pull herself together. "I wish I knew you," she said to him, "I wish I knew who you were. You're very... different. But that's no excuse! I'm not gonna let my guard down, not for one second, n-no matter how innocent you are! All boys think about is sex, and you're no different!"
It occured to her that she was the one who had made the first move with him.
She kissed him.
She let him sleep with her, and he didn't try anything.
She was the owner of the "workshop."
She was the one obsessed with unholy acts, not him.

She pulled him close and hugged him tightly as she cried. She wasn't crying for fear of the soldiers outside anymore. She was crying for her father's wicked temper, and for the brother she'd abused, and for the half-sister who now wouldn't give her the time of day. She cried for her mother, and for herself, and for this poor boy who had come out of nowhere.
She cried for the sake of crying.
"I-I'm... broken..."

"Broken? Oh, she means, like, her feelings. Maybe..."
"Could... could I help to fix you? I feel... something around you. Some feeling I can't explain..." Teddy sighed. "I'm still so confused."
Teddy hugged Ella as well, grabbing onto her shirt in fear that he might fall again.

Martini made his way through the thick of crowd and then soldier to Scathach. "Hello, general. I trust things are going smoothly? I'm going to ask the residents what exactly happened, aiight? Aiight." He said, not really needing Scatty's consent to do so, but he always did ask her for things before doing so. Maybe made her feel important. He was still blinking a LOT from the hangover, but he rang the doorbell of the White Manor, waiting for someone to open the door. It wasn't the first time they were involved in strange things, but whatever.

Ella calmed down a bit, but only enough so that she could cry without a stutter. "I want to be fixed," she begged, "I want to be like Briar, and Sawyer, and those other happy people. Help me, Teddy. I'll help you figure out who you are, just please, pull me out of Hell."

Fae lifted her head from the kitchen table. Falling asleep while doing taxes again? She sighed. She almost missed Rim.
Almost.
She went to the door and opened it cautiously. She gasped as she noticed the commotion outside, and the mess that was once a large portion of her front yard. She looked to the man at her door and said, "U-um, how may I help you, sir?"

"What can I do to help? I don't know anything anymore. Wait! Maybe that will help!"
Teddy pulled away from Ella and stared into her eyes before moving in and kissing her, just as she had to him last night.

Martini shook his head a little. Despite being hung-over, he would at least try to be professional. "Um... Yeah. I'm a knight of the Royal Ice Court, and as you can see, there's been quite the commotion with U.F.O. crashing on your lawn sometime last night. May I come in and ask you and your daughter a few questions?"

Ella was caught off-guard, but something about the way he kissed her was magical. Her tears stifled as she held him close. She had never felt this way before.
The feeling was... sincere.
What type of Lust was this?

Fae bit her lip and nodded reluctently. U.F.O.?

She stood by and let the knight in. "Ella's probably upstairs in her room," she explained, wondering what the hell was going on.

"My face feels... hot. Am I blushing? This feeling it's... oh, my. This feeling is..."
"Love" Teddy said, after pulling away from Ella.
"I know what this feeling is! It's love! I... I can't deny it! Ella... I think I'm in love with you!"

Martini smiled tiredly as he stepped inside. "Thanks... I'm just doing my job and all... I'd much rather be in bed... Between you and me, I'm quite a bit hung-over." He said, chuckling before heading upstairs to Ella's room, knocking on the door.

Fae chuckled and said quietly, "Believe me, I'm familiar with the feeling."

Ella blushed at Teddy's eager expression. "No, it's not," she said flatly, "It's just Lust. You'll get over me in a few days. Take my word on it."
Knock knock.

Ella sighed. Figuring it was her mother, she called, "Just come in! The door's not locked!"

Martini opened the door. "Hello, Ella. I'm Martini. I believe we've met once maybe? Well, it doesn't matter. Listen, I need to ask you a few questions about that crater in your front yard, if you don't mind..." He sat down on the floor, ignoring, the bright lights and blurred vision. "...Do you know what made that?"

She chuckled. He was definitely intoxicated, or at least very hung-over.
He was good at hiding it, but she'd seen enough drunk people to fill two lifetimes, so she knew how to spot one from a mile away.
Granted, he wasn't presently, but she suspected that, oh, only five or six hours ago, he was the life of some party.

Still, she was shocked. He was a knight! She didn't mean to, but her social personality controlled her as she batted her eyes and said sweetly, "No, sir. I have no idea. My friend does, though. Maybe. He's very confused." She moved a bit closer to the mysterious knight and placed her hand on his leg.
What the hell are you doing?!

"Do you wanna rest? You look awfully tired," she said to him with a wink.

Teddy looked over at the scene. He didn't know what but... something inside him started... hurting.
