As she chopped her way through the hands, she found herself face-to-face - if said opponent even had a face - with the thing she had been defeated by so many times. Raising her sword, she put everything she had into her next attack, channeling her Fear into the sword; there was no more room for failures. She had failed enough times already. The moment the blade hit her opponent, everything froze, even the background sound, and then faded to nothingness. This was followed by a loud sound, and then-

- she found herself back where she started, dressed in her own clothing, but this time, where the gaping black hole used to be, there was a single object laying on the ground. Cautiously, she made her way over, frowning as she reached out to touch it. Before she could, however, it broke in half, a shadow escaping from the pieces before everything dissipated completely.

As she turned around to leave, a movement at the corner of the room caught her attention, and she turned to see what appeared to be a pair of red eyes staring at her. When she blinked and looked again, however, whatever was there was gone...
