After Pit had left, he didn't feel like taking the day off. Rather, he wanted to spy on the two royals, but he didn't know how. There were probably guards hiding in places that hid them well. Pit decided the best thing to do was to clean, but what if the guards kept him from doing even that? Pit did not know the answers, but he was interested in the whole royal affair. He was only a servant, though he did know a few things, but he was loyal to the family, since they took him in, knowing his history.

"No attack on he wedding day of the Timberland princess and the Kessig prince? How absurd!" thought Shino as her left her chambers, she could not understand why the King had not chosen to do anything. "A raid would have been my choice of action" but Shino knew that sometimes peace is a better option than bloodshed. There w`as nothing she could do to talk to the King on reconsidering a raid. The urge to hurt someone screamed in her veins.

Shino went to the underground dungeon, a place where she loved to spend of her time. The Volvagian dungeon guards never tried to stop her whenever she enters, they do not even dream of getting in her way or making eye contact with her, in fear of losing a limb by doing so. Shino couldn't careless about who she kills or injures. Her lack of emotion and compassion was one of her assets that made her close with the King, his right hand-"woman", his informant. She never liked the status of a noble, she was never treated like one at a very young age.

The Dungeon was the place where Shino goes whenever she is frustrated or merely because she was bored. She usually whips the prisoners held in the Volvagian dungeon until they bled profusely from head to toe, and as for sexual offenders, she find ways to torture them until they wish they were dead. The Volvagian dungeon was no place any criminal would want set foot in.

"My name is Zaneth Arithies, King of Volvagia. I hope you enjoy your stay here In Kessig. I, unfortunately cannot stay any longer. My kingdom is small and subject to attacks from bandits. I am glad that I was able to meet you before I departed," He told her kindly. He wondered how many guards they had sent with her. At least he knew her face now. "My nation has known war for many year and my lands are constantly ravaged by battle. I hope that all that will change soon." This statement was true. His people had known war for too long and he would do anything for his people to finally have true peace.

The gentle red eyes of the male was relaxed, as was his body's posture. Those dazy and soft orbs hid the clear intent of a sharp mind. Lucas was one out of four in the entourage of the Volvalgian kingdom's party who had arrived to Kessig the previous night, and though he had wanted to satisfy his curiosity, he refrained himself. There would be time for that later, and indeed there was. While his king was in an audience with the old Kessig king, Lucas spent the time wandering the castle and made himself humble enough so as to not rouse any kind of suspicion. He played the tourist, thanking the guards for welcoming him into the beautiful castle, and complimenting the servants for their care of the establishment when he caught them looking. His laid-back aura made them relax and him forgettable to them, with all the other guests arriving and the most important one on her way.

But they didn't know he was familiarizing himself with a general overview of the floors. Finally, he made his way down, and on the way out, passed by the palest creature he had seen yet. He immediately guessed this was the elven princess of Timberland, Xaundellyn, who was followed by another girl, her pointed ears marking her as distinctly elven. The young servant who had been cleaning with some other ones made his way over to greet and escort the princess.

Though Lucas wanted to follow, that would definitely be too out of place. He would gather his information later. For now, he made his way to the outer courts of the castle, examining the greenery of Kessig's garden of flowers and different vegetation, something he admitted was a refreshing sight. It was a particular weakness of his, plant life, but he couldn't help it, given it had been the last memory of his former life. As he stood there, he let the weight and tension that had been resting on his mind roll away.

Upon hearing the news, that the King would be leaving Kessig, earlier than expected, Shino got on to her black stallion. Hordaus and raced towards Kessig. Hordaus was the fastest and most aggressive horse in the whole of Volvagia, characteristics that where similar to its master. Within a couple of hours, Shino arrived in the entrance of the Kessig palace. Shino got off her horse and guided it to one of the empty slots in the stables.

She saw Lucas loitering around the gardens, nodded at him and continued towards the palace, searching for the King. As she entered the front doors, Shino stubbled upon King Zaneth and Princess Xaudellyn, Shino stood at a dark corner, waiting for them to finish their conversation before approaching the Lord, to inquire when exactly were they leaving.

Having been escorted to the servants quarters, she rested for a few moments before feeling restless. She was excited to be here, but wasn't sure what to do. She normally took care of the princess and did what she asked, but now, being separated from her, she had nothing to do. Raine supposed that she could try and help the Kessig servants, but they seemed to have everything under control. Quietly sighing she got up and left the room to see if she can try explore the castle. She just hopes she doesn't get in trouble.

Pit saw Raine walking around. "Do you need anything?" he asked as he ran up to her. He didn't want to just do nothing, and he saw this as a chance to do something. "If you're curious, I can give you a tour, ms. raine," he said as he looked at her. He didn't know her very well, but since she was with the princess, he guessed he could show her around. He didn't suspect anyone that was there to be against the royal family or the marriage, so he figured it was fine. After all, he didn't see anyone suspicious looking walking around the castle.

A nervous tightening grew back in her stomach as the man before her spoke, but she showed no sign of her unease. "It was a pleasure to have met you, King Arithies. I am sorry to hear about your troubles; my lands, too, have struggled with war for far to long. But I am hopeful that this marriage will cure the problems on both sides and that our world will cease fighting." Her hand lifted to brush a lock of hair from off her cheek as Xaundellyn spoke.

"Oh, well that would be wonderful if it isn't too much trouble." Raine said, being polite even to another servant. She was a guest here so she couldn't step out of line. She also had to make a good impression to keep Timberland's good name.

"It's no trouble at all," Pit said enthusiastically. "Besides, you might have to live here when the royal majesties get married, so it would be best to learn where everything is." He smiled a happy one before turning around, secretly harboring any feelings he had at that moment. "The servant quarters are nice, aren't they? They are always kept clean by, well, the servants. Mostly those who have the day off," he said, looking back at Raine. She seemed nice enough and wondered how her life of a servant was, though he didn't think it was a fancy one. He turned back and he lead her to the library. "This is a pretty big place, though I don't come here often. Many of these books were gathered by his majesty when he traveled in his days as a prince, well, tnat's what I'm told'" Pit was excited to show Raine the library, and as he gave her the tour of what was what, he noticed a stain that wasn't there earlier. Pit felt embarrassed by the stain, and he was glad it was on the table and not the carpet. He quickly cleaned it up with a rag and made sure that it was well polished. "Forgive me, the stain was supposed to be cleaned up," he said. Then he lead her to another part of the castle, avoiding the drawing room.

"As am I Princess Xaundellyn, as am I. As a loyal subject to the King of Kessig, I would like to be one of the first to wish you and our prince a happy marriage. May the land finally know peace under your rule," Zaneth said replied respectfully in the same tone he had said everything else. It was a trait that he had picked up at a young age. Rarely was there any emotion in his voice and rarely did his expressionless mask leave his face. It made him extremely hard to read. With another bow, he left.

He headed to the room that was provided for him the previous night. He had expected to see 2 guards ready to leave but to his surprise, he only saw one. "Malivous, where's Tyrin?"

The soldier gave a salute before he replied, "He said he was going for a walk. Something about needing some fresh air or something."
Zaneth doubted that was the real reason. "Make ready the horses. We will be leaving soon." Malivous gave another solute and hurried off as Zaneth entered his guest room. He had not brought much but the time alone would give him time to think.

Now that she was alone again, Xaundellyn took the time to compose herself and reassess the situation. "At least I am not alone here." She spoke to herself; the princess moved towards a chair in the drawing room and sat gracefully down.

Shino escorted the King to his chambers, reluctant to speak with him. She was watching his every move, hoping that he was not serious about exercising peace with the two Kingdoms. "Leaving so soon?" she asked the King, biting back her numerous protests on his actions, but as usual she showed no signs of irritation, in fact no emotion at all. Shino positioned herself in front of the King's chamber door, where Tyrin was supposed to be, as Malivous took off getting ready the carriage for M'lord departure.

Zaneth didn't respond for a moment. "Its the way it must be. Volvagia has always been a land ravaged by war even when other lands had peace. I cannot stay away for too long." He made his way over the the window. This Kessig was truly far from Volvagia. How could anyone who lived here possibly know what was going on at the edge of such a larg empire. Now with the marriage pretty much guaranteed, there was on reason to stay under their rule but they had to be careful. Their nation was small and would not be able to stand for long against the power of Kessig especially now that they would have Timberland backing them as well. No, both nations had to fall apart before Volvagia will be able to gain the power it needed. "Find Lucas and meet me at the stables. We will leave soon."

"Yes M'lord, at once" Shino left the King's presence in search for Lucas. She grabbed on of the servants around the hallways and asked if they have seen a Volvagian guard by the name of Lucas. The servant shook in fear, uttering the word garden in a shaky voice, She released the servant and gently pushed her aside, hearing her gasp for air as she leaves the hallway, in the direction of the garden. "The garden? Have i not seen him there before, what else could he be reminiscing about this time?"

Indeed Lucas was still in the garden, she stood there a moment watching Lucas fiddle the flowers and removing their petals. Annoyed that she had to interact with a Volvagian guard, Shino got close to Lucas and said "King Arithies wishes for us to ready the cavalry and depart for Volvagia as soon as possible. We shall meet at the stables" not waiting for Lucas to turn around and respond, Shino left the garden to tend to Hordaus, her black stallion.
