Warriormon just rolled his eyes seeing Kiriha head onwards, before looking up to GigaSeadramon "GigaSeadramon, go after Kiriha and help anyone needing a lift to get out of here would ya?" GigaSeadramon snorted while flying off again down the internal corridors again while Warriormon jumped up as BlackWarGreymon called out "Ankoku no Gaia Force!" with that, the attack launched to Warriormon, who had unleashed Twin Blades, catching the attack and absorbing it into the blades, making them much stronger and taking the properties of the Gaia Force, before slamming down onto another of the few Armagemonz left "Ankoku no Gaia Braver!" he called out, bissecting the poor Armagemon into capture as well as the others that another Black Tornado from BWG had unleashed and all to send them into ShineGreymon's Geo-Grey Sword.
Centralized Break... Scene Change Hatsudo!
Guilmon had managed to pull his head out of the wall finally, and proceeded to wobble over to Shiro's Xros Loader, and disappeared within, causing chatter and all of what was going on after he had dropped his loader, and Magna Angemon popping out and proceeded to float over worryingly to Shiro, also adding in it's own healing powers with Ocean Love and all. this led to Shiro's chest closing quickly, as the various cuts and the blood were all returned to his body, even though it was wierd to have black blood. in any case after the chest closed and such Shiro's Digi-Core also managed to heal itself, though he could only recover 20% from when Shademon bursted from his chest in his new form, the rest was mainly the stolen data from Ultimate Chaosmon as the boy goraned, and slowly woke up, the inversion of his eyes showing he looked naturally... scary, but the confused look added in just made him look silly while he groaned "Wha... t-thanks.. you guys.." he mumbled loud enough, while Gene raised an eyebrow lightly "ah.. you're awake now, Shiro?" Shiro nodded and then groaned holding his head "my head feels like it's been hit by Mjolnir or Grottomon's hammer..." he mumbled while getting a loud 'HEY!' from Grottomon in particular from within the Xros Loader, and some laughs. Roveth meanwhile just shook his head lightly "well... looks like things will be okay for now i guess, we just need to get you and Baka Hikari some rest, Crystal."

"That's a relief," Crystal managed as she slumped between Taiki and Akari, just barely hanging on to her few remaining threads of consciousness.
*~*~*~*~*
Not wanting to stick around in the crumbling ruins of Bagramon's castle, it was eventually decided that they would rest up at the castle in the region that had once been the Lake Zone. For one thing, it was closer than the coliseum where the tournament was set to be held. For another, it was familiar territory for just about everyone who had previously resided in the digital world. It was a safe location for Crystal and Shiro to get some rest.
Masaru had no interest in taking a break and instead departed with his Agumon to seek out other strong opponents throughout the digital world. He figured he could ask around about this digimon called Shademon while still allowing for himself and Agumon to go around beating on powerful digimon.
Crystal and Shiro were both given their own rooms inside the castle so they could rest comfortably without being disturbed by the likes of Tagiru. While the others were mainly gathered in the dining hall trying to decide what they should do next, Taiki had opted to stay and keep an eye on Crystal just to be sure she was really okay, not that she didn't have excellent bodyguards there to protect her already. Choromon, Petitmon, Yukimi Botamon, Chapmon, Kapurimon, and Wanyamon had quickly assembled on Crystal's bed making a pronounced effort to remain silent so they would seem more like a congregation of stuffed animals than a crowd of baby digimon. At the same time, Monodramon and Ryuudamon had taken positions on opposite sides of the door leading into the room to stand guard.
Meanwhile, in the dining hall, the first timers were being treated to their first meal of Digi Noir with Tagiru and Gumdramon immediately diving in to stuff their faces much to the embarrassment of everyone else gathered around them. It was going to be a long first night in the digital world.

while Shiro had been put in his own room, he had his own seperate guards, namely in the form of Dorulumon curling up near Shiro on the bed, a Renamon on the other side, and a Kudamon snuggled on his body. the other Renamonz were all hidden in various spots of the room under their invisibility capabilities, and standing guard outside was oddly enough, Gigasmon, and Wolfmon. sometimes chatting amicably to themselves, while keeping others from disturbing Shiro, who was still not completely well, especially as time wore on, and the rest of the youki and Corruption had yet to be addressed. it had gotten to the point of where he was currently weak enough to not even move right, without help. of course he had tried to purify his core, but he had been unable to due to lack of physical energy much less his own instability for the core being incomplete had easily kept it from being cleared at the moment. the Youki provided a further problem when it ripped through his body, breaking bones, tearing muscles, and then rebuilding them even denser, so on. he was an utter -mess- at this point. of course, nearby on the inside Ranamon and Fairymon were discussing things about Shiro, basically keeping a check on his condition, even to the point of asking Marine Angemon to use Ocean Love to calm his body down, which helped during the most troublesome times that was making Shiro unable to rest, but other than that it seemingly didn't want to stop and Ranamon was on wit's end in trying to fix things. of course, there were a few curious digimon that wanted to see the wierd 'black fox guy', like a couple Toy Agumon's and even a leftover Commandramon, but they were kept from entering only because Shiro was not in a condition for visitors, so, instead, they asked to be body-guards, thus being inside the room sleeping at the foot of the bed and keeping an eye on Shiro, while bringing food for the digimon.
Roveth and Jake meanwhile were sweatdropping at Tagiru's idiocy, and sighing a bit before looking to each other ~i wish Shiro was here to curb his stupidity..~ of course they just helped themselves to some food, and sent some to their own team in the Xros Loader, before finding places to sleep. for Jake it was wherever there was space. for Roveth, he took himself to the Shadow realm using the dining table's shadow to do so. either way they wanted nothing to do with Tagiru at this point.
the next morning was hectic for those in Shiro's room... why? well... that would be from the spiraling tattoos coming from the arms and creating intricate designs, as well as his very nerves suddenly alighting on fire, as if a hot metal rod was filtering through his back and into them, as two to -three- thousand new magic circuits were being made from his nerves, it was an -extremely- painful process that was also adding on to connecting them to the 30 or so he normally had. let's not forget the increase of OD and Prana was literally also making things harder for him to recover. his Origin and Element changing, not to anything specific, to be honest, it was turning to the concept of -all- elements, including those of obscure references. his Origin is further unknown at this point, as no one could discern it without evolving, and they didn't want to wreck the place or move Shiro, so they were stuck on that. either way, among other things was that while his inner reality marble was changing to accomodate his new changes to his body, one thing most didn't notice, was that his Soul was strengthening, quite often, to hold the new Youki, as well as be able to modify itself to use various techniques, wether pure spirit, Youki techniques, or even using the -wavelength of his soul, so on. another little change was the fact that Shiro now had -very- solid shadows, that he'd sometimes make phantom limbs, and the like. they were usually blocky, and looked like those foam hands and all, but they were quite solid and hard, as tested by Fairymon who had poked and prodded one when they subconciously popped up.
it wasn't until late afternoon the next day when Shiro finally opened his Inverted eyes, looking around tiredly with a groan, alerting everyone. "Shiro-Koi! are you alright?" Fairymon asked, while Ranamon nodded "yeah, Shiro-kun... you worried us a whole bunch, especially with all the wierd things and your screaming..." Shiro blinked tiredly, before moving a bit to adjust himself lightly "i'm... well, alright for now... but i feel sluggish and my body's like lead..." he said in a deep reverberating voice at the moment, given it was raspy and gravelly as well, causing Dorulumon to raise both eyebrows "wow. even your voice as changed." Shiro blinked, and looked to everyone, and then himself, sweatdropping lightly "well... can anyone pass me my Xros Loader... i want to try again in getting rid of the corruption..." he said, of course a Toy Agumon who had been running errands did so, causing Shiro to blink in confusion, before bringing out his hopelessly complex Digi-Code, which looked even more hazy and staticy, as if it was close to forming it's own Digi-Core. there was so much blackness he didn't even know where to scan, but he shook his head, and focused his eyes, which began getting white commas in the scelera as he scanned the Digi-Code "Digi-code... Scan." he said calmly, causing the code to start filtering into the Xros Loader, and line by line it was unravelled, to the point that it showed that there were at least five new lines. one pertaining towards to Skeith and the Bracelet of Twilight. namely another tier of power to the bracelet's power, which will lead to Data Drain: Drain Heart, something that'd allow direct draining of things for rare stuff, but a higher form of corruption. either way, there was dozens more lines he couldn't decipher at all, though he figured it pertained to each of his forms as a hybrid, once the last of it was in the Xros Loader and the Core followed to be purified, he laid back lightly groaning "i'm a bit hungry..." he mumbled a bit, while the lone Commandramon in the room offered to go fetch some, and went to do so, as Shiro thought to himself ~i wonder... why were there multiple instances of coding in there that i saw called devil fruits...?~

Taiki eventually dozed off draped over the seat back of a chair while keeping an eye on Crystal. Akari had come into the room at some point during the night meaning to coax him out to another room with an empty bed so he could get a rest himself, but having found him already passed out she decided to just find an extra blanket to drape over him before excusing herself to go find her own room for the night. Taiki stirred briefly later in the night when Tagiru managed to get past Monodramon and Ryuudamon, the two young dragon digimon having dozed off while standing guard by the door. However, Tagiru didn't make it very far before being set upon by Yukimi Botamon. The baby digimon hopped off the bed while exhaling a breath of freezing cold air using the power of its Diamond Dust attack to flash freeze Tagiru into a frozen statue. Then, after venturing out to flag down a passing Toy Agumon, Yukimi Botamon was able to get the now frozen Tagiru carted out of the room. For some reason he was transported to the castle's main entrance to be used as a coat rack until he eventually thawed out and could be shown to his own room where he was reunited with Gumdramon who had smartly chosen not to go along with his antics in favor of getting some sleep so he'd be prepared for some serious training.
Ren and Ryouma, having been made very much aware of the pronounced disadvantage they faced with regards to the upcoming tournament, slipped out of the castle just before sunrise having decided that they would rather explore the digital world on their own at their own pace. That had been the original purpose behind coming to the digital world before the tournament was scheduled to begin and, despite what had transpired on the day before, it wasn't like Shademon had come after either of them directly so it wasn't like they shouldn't still go along with the original plan. Kiriha had departed as well, but he did so to investigate Shademon on his own because he felt it would go more smoothly that way.
So, by the time Crystal finally woke up around mid-morning, the group was already down by three hunters. Those that still remained at the castle were either still sleeping or keeping to themselves. Zenjirou was making some adjustments to Ballistamon to keep him in top condition in case there was any trouble. Akari making the rounds, alternately checking up on Crystal and Shiro in their respective rooms planning to alert the Toy Agumonz to fetch some breakfast for them as soon as either of them turned out to be awake. Yuu was out patrolling the perimeter of the castle to keep a lookout for any suspicious intruders. Tagiru, meanwhile, snored loudly as he slept in his own room of the castle. Gumdramon eventually decided to sneak out to find himself some breakfast and to get away from the horrible reverberating noise produced by Tagiru's snoring.
Crystal woke up to find Taiki still asleep propped against the seat back of the chair next to the bed. Seeing her finally awake, the silent congregation of small digimon assembled on the bed next to her began to bounce up and down on the bed with delighted squeals to show how happy they were to see her finally awake. This cute and noisy display also served to wake up Taiki who smiled sleepily over the back of the chair he was resting on.
"Seems like you must have really been tired. You don't normally sleep-in this late."
Of course, unbeknownst to Taiki, Shiro would be incapacitated a great deal longer than Crystal who had at least managed to be awake before noon.

Having recovered her strength after a good night's sleep and making a meal of several containers of Digi Noir, Crystal still wouldn't be back to 100% for a good while since it was probably going to take a few weeks to completely replenish her stores of youki that had been siphoned off by Shademon. She could manage just fine without it since she was accustomed to living as an ordinary human, but she kind of missed stuff like the heightened senses that power gave her. Since there was nothing better to do until Shiro got his butt out of bed, Crystal took to roaming the castle while attempting to get her thoughts in order to see if she might have missed something about her brief encounter with Shademon prior to losing consciousness yesterday. She also wanted to find Gene so she could properly thank him for showing up to protect her sorry a** from Shiro.

Jake and Roveth were actually outside training during the day, so they weren't hard to find if you looked for the huge Gigaseadramon. as for Gene he would have been found leaning on a balcony in one of the towers as Crystal had managed to find him, currently in human form, and dressed in a black shirt and black pair of jeans chuckling a bit as he looked out to the sky "first time we meet, and i had to stop a rampaging Shiro from killing everyone... it seems you guys haven't slacked off at all while i've been boredly training with others." he said, smiling a bit, not minding and all in being there.
Shiro of course, while awake, yes, and eating, he was in no condition to move due to the situation with his constantly shifting muscles and bones, that once he moved, his muscles ripped and tore, and his bones shattered, only to be regrown and made stronger, only for the process to happen again, it seemed his body currently was in a state of flux, however when he heard what happened when the others found him, and stuff, he apologized to Gabumon and Guilmon, with an intent to apologize to Roveth when he was able to move. in any case he just worked to try and get his body to stop ******** with him, as he groaned "Gah! ugh... this is just not my week..." he mumbled, getting chuckles from the digimon in the room, he also got to know the curious toy Agumon duo and the Commandramon, apparently the Toy Agumon duo was a regular, and a Black Toy Agumon. either way he even tried using a tiny bit of OD and Prana to settle his body, but the feedback hit so hard it made the muscles and bones in his entire BODY shatter/rip/etc, about 5 times before settling down as long as he didn't move. his internal organs were also -much- harder to penetrate now given their movements were automatic and couldn't be stopped.
it took a much long chance of harranging things, and bugging people, but they managed to get Shiro into a hover wheel-chair, made by using his Tracing Capabilities and such, and was actually now heading to the dining room and other places to see if others were awake, not finding Crystal, or the others Shiro mildly pouted a bit while wincing when his face bones had to be re-done, and just returned to being impassive.

"I think you might be giving us too much credit," noted Crystal. "Up until now we've been passing ourselves off as ordinary junior high school students so it's not like something as dangerous as what happened yesterday is a regular thing for us. Well, maybe it is for Shiro, but I've actually been actively avoiding that kind of lifestyle. Boredom isn't a bad thing. It's just a consequence of living out a reasonably peaceful life. There's nothing wrong with that."
"Even so," she started again after a slight pause. "The enemy we're facing now seems to have intimate foreknowledge about how we operate so simply keeping my guard up like I normally do wasn't enough to work around that. There's no telling how many steps Shademon has planned ahead based on the information he got on all of us from Ancient Wisemon and I can't say that I like the fact that the two of them seemed to be working together. For a digimon as powerful as Ancient Wisemon to be subservient to Shademon, Shademon would have to be either highly influential or immensely powerful in his own right. It definitely bothers me that no one seems to know anything about him."

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't you still be in bed?" Taiki happened upon Shiro in the dining hall while engaging in his own wanderings through the premises. "You do realize if Akari sees you being wheeled around like this she's probably going to lecture you for disappearing from your room, right?"
Shiro's condition was much worse than Crystal's so it went without saying that Akari wasn't going to be letting him off the hook about it. In some ways, she probably felt Shiro was even worse about taking care of himself than either Taiki or Crystal.

Yuu watched with Damemon as Jake and Roveth sparred outside with their digimon. It came as no surprise to him when Tagiru and Gumdramon both emerged from the castle wanting to join them. Of course, rather than taking the time to ask Jake and Roveth if it would be alright to train with them, Tagiru simply evolved Gumdramon into Arresterdramon expecting to just fly up there and try to get a few good hits in.
"Those idiots," Yuu sighed and shook his head. Oh well, at least it would be mildly amusing to watch those two get their asses handed to them.

Shiro just chuckled a bit while sighing lightly "i know Taiki, i wasn't planning to head outside or anything, i just needed out of my room for a bit, maybe see how Crystal was doing." he said lightly while sighing a bit as Guilmon spoke up "we're keeping a close eye on Shiromon Taikimon, so no worries!" of course Shiro just smiled a bit even if the muscles in his face tore and rebuilt twice from that "if you see Crystal though, tell her i'm up and awake and stuff, i can probably fill in some holes for everyone on what happened, some, but not all." he sighed lightly "Mendokuse-na... anyway, i'll head back to my room to continue trying to get my body to stop fluxuating like it is... don't know how long it'll take though, hopefully short enough that i can get up and get to training for the Tournament." he said, chuckling a bit, and the Hover-Wheelchair floated up, and headed back whence it came with guilmon and an invisible Renamon following to let the Hanyou get some more physical rest.
Roveth of course spotted the incoming idiot duo and sighed, while looking to Arkadimon, who was currently fighting some of the other rookies, and Gaioumon, who was matching GigaSeadramon, before bringing up his Xros Loader "Reload, Slayerdramon!" he shouted, the Ultimate leveled digimon bursted forth in a cloud of black mist, and unleashed it's extending sword in a large sweep to attack Arresterdramon "Tenryuzanha!" he shouted, whirling around, before aiming the extending blade to naturally smash right into Arresterdramon's head.
Gene nodded lightly, thinking over things as he sighed "well, that may be true, but in either case, i bet the one thing Shademon hadn't coutned on was Shiro living through whatever he did to him. so we have one variable we can use against this guy. i won't say it's an absolute victory variable, but it might help, -if- we can get Shiro's body to stop fluctuating." he then looked up to the skies again "still, to think i'd be called on again... i know you have another Black Fladramon, so you honestly didn't need me in this mess, and i understood that, that's why i offered to stay behind and stick with Koushirou and the others." he looked over to Crystal lightly, smiling "maybe i should've came with you guys anyway, if only to be comical relief."

"Alright, I'll tell her when I see her," answered Taiki. "You just try to take it easy as much as you can. The upcoming tournament aside, we still don't know what the digimon that did this to you was after and it was gone by the time any of us got to you so we don't know whether it was defeated or managed to escape. It might still be out there to make trouble for us in the future."

Shoutmon, in particular, had ventured out to spar with Arkadimon being one of the few digimon at the castle actually capable of matching the demonic digimon in terms of raw power. He did sweatdrop mildly when Roveth decided to sic his Slayerdramon on Tagiru and Arresterdramon, easily batting the both of them out of the sky with a single stroke of Slayerdramon's extensible sword. Of course, Shoutmon immediately returned his attention to his own opponent as Arkadimon wasn't the sort of digimon to be taken lightly even if this was only meant to be practice.
"It's going to take more than that to beat us!" Tagiru declared defiantly.
"You said it!" Arresterdramon recovered narrowly avoiding a painful impact with the ground.
"Arresterdramon, Metal Tyranomon, Digi Xros!"
"Digi Xros!" Arresterdramon gained sturdy metal armor from Metal Tyranomon that would drastically increase his defensive capabilities while simultaneously making him even more hardheaded. "Metal Arresterdramon!"
With that, Metal Arresterdramon flew right back up there to duke it out with Slayerdramon. "Metallic Mach Flicker!" he called out as he came at Slayerdramon with a flurry of rapid high-speed punches sending off bright flashes as light was reflected off his metallic armor.

Roveth merely glanced to Arresterdramon getting Digi-Xros'ed and just shook his head as he brought up his Xros Loader to connect to Slayerdramon "use -that- move and rip off the armor, then kick him to Gaioumon." he said calmly, the Dragon Man Digimon glanced down to Roveth, who nodded in assent, before shrugging a bit "Che.. well, the gnat's annoying enough.. might as well." he said, before disappearing in a blur, reappearing behind Arresterdramon with the blade's segments and energy connections literally coiling around him like a snake "Kouryuzanba!" and with that, Slayerdramon literallytightened the blades to start cutting and shredding into the armor of Metal Arresterdramon, before literally flinging the Xros'ed digimon right into a pwoer struggle between Gaioumon and Gigaseadramon, though he did catch the human brat when he was flung off of Arresterdramon just to be nice. Gaioumon and Gigaseadramon were too focused on their own sparring match to notice the new player "Giga Sea Destroyer!" before unleashing the massive energy blast from his mouth, as Gaioumon brought up a clawed hand, focusing "Gaia.... REACTOR!" he called, unleashing an orb of atmospheric energy that suddenly formed near the opened clawed hand, and the two attacks colliding with the central place... Arresterdramon, included.
Jake of course winced as he just noticed Arresterdramon "oi oi, Roveth! isn't that a bit rough?" Roveth snorted lightly while Mummymon continued tripping up some of Jake's champions and shootign at them "not really... someone's got to tame the idiot since Shiro's not able to smack him with Torashinai... so why not let him get blown up?" of course, with shouto in play against Arkadimon, he nodded to his more recently gained partner, as a Kinkoji started glowing.. and snapped open, though he knew Arkadimon could handle himself in child form, he figured going Adult form would make things more interesting as the attack was called "Prison Fist!" the digimon called out, aiming for the Digimon King to do some damage, naturally, not enough to kill or delete Shouto, but enough to knock the Digimon into a daze if caught unawares. this was due to Roveth's work mentally and Sanzomon's Kinkoji's helping in calming the normally wild Arkadimon down into a more respectable Digimon, almost similar to how Ryo and Cyberdramon's bond was and all.
it didn't take long, but Shiro was now back in his room, sighing as he laid back in his bed, grunting when various bones and muscles ripped, grow denser and stronger, and did it again, just to annoy the piss out of him ~Grrr...!!! stop doing this you crazy-assed body!!!~ he thought, mentally in a verbal manner cussing his body out while some laughs from his new... tenants could be heard, causing him to sigh tiredly and grumble in an almost defeatist manner "and my day just can't get any better can it... well ,least i'm alive." of course, this led to a round of kisses from his various females, and Shiro curling back up near the on the bed dorulumon to keep himself warm.

True to form, Shoutmon readily clashed fists with Arkadimon not even phased by his opponent's sudden increase in size and strength. After all, it had been awhile since the Digimon King had gotten to just let loose like this.
Metal Arresterdramon, meanwhile, wasn't fairing so well. As if having his metal armor shredded and being caught between attacks from Giga Seadramon and Gaioumon wasn't enough, as he started plummeting back down to earth, the Digi Xros with Metal Tyranomon breaking as the metal dinosaur was sent back to Tagiru's Xros Loader after sustaining the brunt of the damage, the still falling Arresterdramon somehow became the landing platform for a randomly occurring Justimon in what amounted to roughly the equivalent of being drop kicked in the head and was subsequently accelerated to impact with the ground at an even faster rate.
"Sorry about that," the familiar voice of one Ryo Akiyama apologized from within Justimon. "Didn't see you down there."
Arresterdramon slammed into the ground forming a good-sized crater before finally reverting back into a summarily KO-ed Gumdramon complete with his eyes being replaced by spinning swirls.
"Oh man, poor Gumdramon," Tagiru wanted to go down to check up on his fallen partner when he suddenly sneezed. "Oh great, now I'm gonna catch a cold because of that stupid Yukimi Botamon in Crystal's room last night."

Meanwhile, now that Crystal had more or less sorted things out with Gene, she decided that she wanted to head outside and that meant having to climb back down from the tower and making her way through the castle until she reached the entrance. Psycmon popped out of her Xros Loader along the way complaining about being hungry so Crystal stopped off in the dining hall to grab some containers of Digi Noir to feed her partner before continuing on her way. Psycmon had been quiet this entire time, having spent most of the time since being separated from Shademon unconscious and the rest of it sitting in a secluded corner within the Xros Loader feeling very sulky about being used like that. Once she was done with eating she simply remained perched on Crystal's head making a bit of a nest in her hair, but otherwise not being particularly chatty today.

while gigaSeadramon and Gaioumon stopped the moment Justimon appeared, Roveth had to blink in confusion before tilting his head "nande? Ryo, is that you? what're you doing all the way out here?" he decided to call out, while Jake sweatdropped at Gumdramon before shaking his head, Thankfully Slayerdramon landed on the ground and knelt to let Tagiru down, and then returned to Roveth's Xros Loader, while Jake walked over and clapped his back "next time you want to train, -ask- first before jumping in. might mean the difference of not getting lambasted like that." he said chuckling a bit shaking his head lightly.
Arkadimon of course, vaguely looked up to the Justimon before looking back to shouto and continued using Prison Fist to attack Shouto for now, helping him cut loose and have fun fighting, given he himself enjoyed a good fight, though he's not using his next form even though he's capable, he allowed himself some leeway to not get poudned by a Digi-Xros at least by sticking to a set limit of power, and being about Adult in power was good for the Digimon king, even if he couldm op the floor with Jake's rookies now even when they worked together. so that left Roveth bringing out Dracmon to evolve into Sangloupmon and then dive into a shadow to play being a target dummy for Jake's Rookies.
Shiro meanwhile had been watching outside via the bed raising an eyebrow at the Justimon that showed up "well that's great, the Dork's around." Ranamon blinked, while Fairymon giggled a bit and spoke up "i take it you mean Ryo and Cyberdramon are in the area?" Shiro nodded, and simply pointed out the window "heh, he is actually, he's outside... though i wonder where the hell he came from."

"Just passing through," Ryo answered from within Justimon. "I'm guessing all of you were also invited for the tournament?"
Shoutmon fought as best as he could without relying on Taiki since Taiki was supposed to be inside taking a nap or something since he'd been up most of the night in that chair and hadn't really gotten a proper rest for himself. Of course, what Shoutmon didn't know was that Taiki was still up roaming the castle and that Akari was going to be furious with him once she found him. It was probably proving to be a real pain for her trying to keep track of Taiki, Shiro, and Crystal all at the same time, although it was only the boys that really made it difficult for her to play chaperone for them as Crystal had slept through the night and was well rested enough to warrant being permitted to roam about the castle without a lecture. In any case, Shoutmon could only fight Arkadimon by his own power, not that he wasn't going all out about it. It doesn't really count as training unless you're really pushing yourself to your limits, right?
"Well how else are we supposed to get stronger in time for the tournament?" Tagiru instantly began to pout as he loaded Gumdramon back into his Xros Loader to patch him up a little before trying to fight again.
Crystal did eventually make it out of the castle, although she wasn't looking to get involved in any training. Not today anyway. Like Psycmon, most of the other digimon inside her Xros Loader had just barely recovered from their ordeal the day before. There was no use pushing them while they were in that sort of condition. Of course, seeing Justimon, she did become curious to know where exactly he had dropped in on them from.

Roveth nodded lightly hearing the question on the tournament "yeah, by the way.. where- did- you come from anyway, least from my eyes all i see is clouds up there." he said, pointing up and all, causing his digimon to chuckle, while Sangloupmon had to narrowly dodge one particular Ice Blaster from Yuki Guilmon, given he wasn't paying attention as much due to chuckling and all, and then duck back into the shadows to resume the 'Whack a Sangloupmon' Target Practicing and all.
Jake of course shook his head lightly "rushing recklessly into a fight will get you swiftly beaten, as Slayerdramon has just fully done to Arresterdramon. and honestly, Roveth wasn't even -Focusing- on you as much, you were being a gnat to him. that's the difference between you, as a rookie, and us, as veterans of fighting with Digimon." of course he sighed, shaking his head "trust me, recklessness has only gotten you as far as it has due to your stubborn spirit and attitude. without actually -attaining- proper skill and experience and developing a style for yourself with Arresterdramon... i think you're probably going to be the weakest Link with whoever you partner with."
Arkadimon of course had no problems giving the Digimon King a good workout, so the Prison fists kept coming, with a few times of using one as a Feint to try and punt Shouto's chin, or even using his feet to block any incoming Rowdy Rockers while countering into a Prison fist, he was a bit... hard to predict due to this, but it helped for the training, because unpredictability would also be a good factor in things.
Gene had wandered out after a while to notice the digimon about, and sat next to Crystal figuring to stick with her for now looking to Psycmon "no need to be silent today, or are you kicking yourself for what happened?"

"Oh, well I guess you can't see it from way down here because of the clouds, but there's actually this enormous avian digimon carrying an entire forest on its back," Ryo explained from within Justimon. "The native digimon call it Ceresmon and it seems to be regarded as a sort of deity."
Jake's lecture only made Tagiru pout harder.
"You weren't there when that whole mess started," Psycmon reminded Gene with a slight growl that came out as more of a whimper. "I couldn't do anything to stop that guy from using me as his own personal meat shield. He took full advantage of my forced evolution into Imperial Destroyermon so he could Digi Xros himself with me without having to struggle against my consciousness for control of the Xros and used my power to beat up on the rest of my team."
"You can't really blame her for being upset," noted Crystal. "It's the first time we've encountered a digimon evil and twisted enough to actually want to take advantage of her power as Imperial Destroyermon."
She walked over to where Jake was lecturing Tagiru. "Now then, it looks like this baka doesn't even grasp the concept of 'training'. For one thing, you've got to start with exercises better suited to your own level."
"Hey, that's right, Crystal's martial arts experience also means she knows how to deal with teaching less experienced students," Psycmon realized.
"Yeah, and it's not like I even have to be at 100% to try to teach him a little bit of common sense," Crystal added. "I just have to think up the right kind of training exercise for him."

Gene of course sighed, shaking his head lightly "i may not know the exact details of what happened, but the way you're feeling now reminds me of how -i- felt when i was faced with fighting Viral Imperialdramon on my own... useless, worthless, why am i doing thing this, so on." he took a breath, closing his eyes to fight back those ugly memories, especially the ones that reminded him how he barely survived "thing is, i barely survived that fight... in fact, i should have died., but i met Crystal just before that monster pulled the fatal blow, and i managed to at least make it go away for a time." he then looked to Psycmon "so don't think you're alone in that. the thing you need to do is get your strength back, and look forward to the next encounter, so you can dish some payback to the b*****d that took control of you and used Crystal like a puppet. i can tell you once Shiro gets out of bed i bet he plans to run himself into the ground training so he can get payback for what happened to him." he then got up, cracking his neck lightly, and looked to Jake, nodding.
Jake stepped back, letting Crystal take over in Tagiru's 'training', and looked to Gene "alright, alright... i get the hint Gene." he chuckled nervously before looking to the cre of his digimon "oi! keep training you guys, but do it without my orders this time!" of course, there was a rounding chorus, and they went back to work, and GigaSeadramon giving Gaioumon an extreme workout trying to control his Gaia Reactor while Giga Seadramon was trying to speed up and such it's Giga Sea Destroyer.
Roveth rolled his eyes when he saw Jake get into a rudimentary defense stance before being sent flying by a punch from Gene, and their individual training began "geez... good thing i'm keeping an eye on things in general." he mumbled while resuming getting the training regiments done for his Digimon, even bringing out Mummymon for some tangling fun and all.
Shiro just laid on the bed sighing a bit while looking at the ceiling as he twitched an eyebrow, slowly filtering his Youki down, not smothering it outright, but slowly narrowing it down slowly pulling it into him, as well as pulling it from his body and re-containing it within his soul, not his Digi-Core since that was useless ,but his soul, which helped, as the body started to calm down and stabilize, it took constant work and training the filtering to work, making enough YOuki to keep the body enhanced and constant, but nto enough to fluxuate, and not too little to make it atrophy either as he brought up his hand after two or so hours of slowly working on it, clencing his clawed hand into a fist, and then flicked his fingers. ~well... there's that solution... that'll also calm down my Circuits too, though now i have so much prana i don't think i'll be able to use the little i had without accidentally yanking on the new reserves... but, i can work on that in training tomorrow... now all i need is to tell Akari that i've managed to stop fluxuating bodily.
