Once again, Tsukiko was lost. Bewildered, she was about to sit down when she saw wings.

Ren was about to bombarded with questions... provided Tsukiko keeps her eye on the wings.
"Can you really fly with those? What's it like?"
Oh my gourd. He's got a tail too! She thought. She believed that a posterior isn't a proper one without a tail. Tails were everything.
"Which faction are you in? Are you a Monster type? What kind?"

Ren smiles brightly, rocking back on his heels.
"I can really fly, yes," he says with a laugh. "And it's delightful. There's nothing in the world quite like flying."
He regards her questions with ease, and flicks his tail, linking his fingers behind his back. "I'm a monster," he replies easily, and one ear twists around to lay flat against his hair. "I happen to be of the gryphon variety, and while I do love my own species, I would be cautious about gryphons in general. They can be quite, er...well, let's just say, they are a very proud race."

Wings were a rarity where she lived. Tsukiko resisted the urge to touch the wings (omgsohardwanttoTOOUUUUUUCH). Her own tail twitched slightly as the internal battle raged on.
"So... will flattery work? Anything I should avoid if/when I meet other Gryphons?" She really wanted to know as much as she could about any and all races (though Demons... her clan had a grudge against those... and some Undead types kinda freaked her out...).
"Oh, and what's it like, being a student here at... uh... Amy... Ami... this school?" She asked, fumbling over the name.

He laughs a little, though the sound is slightly bitter, and his wings flutter before settling down against his back.
"Flattery will definitely work," he says, pushing a few strands of golden hair out of his eyes. "They are much too proud for their own good - but don't be mistaken," he adds quickly. "We have another gryphon here, Tahki, and she's a real sweetheart, totally different from my family (though she's an arctic gryphon, while I'm a standard gryphon). But if you were ever to meet my family...well, let's just say they aren't the most pleasant of people."
He blinks, and then smiled, clearly relieved at the change of topic. "It can be enjoyable," he says. "It can be ridiculous, frustrating, outrageous, crazy, dangerous, hell-on-earth, but I love it and I wouldn't ever leave before I graduate. This place has been more of a home to me than any other place, and I am glad to have spent the past three years here."

...Or, you know, do any other task that involves leaving his fan somewhere unattended?
