ZIL
The pair turn towards you to consider you for a moment. One of them jerkily nods, a dismissive gesture, and the two go back to conversing - this time in a language completely alien to you.
VIRGIL
The man exhales a large cloud of smoke that smells faintly of vanilla and looks past you for a long moment, the rain worsening, before nodding. "For ich longen to fresch gesten, icholle sullen ou harborowe. Bi-comen binne an rathe, to se roþun es bycam bi-liue ware."
((translation: "Because I long for new stories, I will give you harbor. Come inside and quickly, for the weather is becoming swiftly worse."))

"Well, that was rude", Zil said for a moment, turning away from the pair. It seems he was not going to receive any help from them after all. He walked, admiring the scenery of the town and at the same time, searching for some clues. He noticed the building with plain block letters in English written on it. He got curious, standing hesitantly in front of the building for a while before nodding to himself, moving towards it. He knocked on the door and tried opening it, to see if anyone was there.

Deciding to guess that the man had told him he could go inside, Virgil nodded gratefully and stepped in, hoping this man could speak English.

Unrolling himself slowly Jacob shook himself and grunted. The pain in his stomach was a strong one but as long as he kept from getting another one the pain was not so overwhelming he would need to break the summoing right off the bat. What was infront of him tho might make it the ground itself had rose up forming a tall hill. He had already found that he was not going to be able to get up that hill in this form very quickly. It would be to dangerous to try and clamber up it not in ball form but then he had nothing currently to attack from a ran-.... The thought hit him like a truck. He did have an item that as likely to kill the distance between the two of them in a instant. If it would work like he wanted it to tho he wasn't sure as he clawed the ground keeping his eyes up on the bandit.

Lenore was puzzled before she straightened herself, her hazel eyes narrowing. "Your lake?" She put her hands on her hips. "If this is my dream, then this should be my lake. I don't see your name on it," she stated, staring at the one eye-mouth with her catty gaze. She didn't like its authority to tell her what to do and frankly, she wasn't about to leave this lake without so much as a little resistance.

((Deepest apologies for being gone for so long, I've been without a computer at all since the 12th of last month and only got my new rig yesterday. I'll get to work on answering your posts soon, hopefully I'll have something up by late tonight or early tomorrow morning. Merry Christmas, guys. I'm back. :3 EDIT: Yes, I'm fully aware of the irony of my unexpected two-month hiatus breaking my own rule on activity. >.<))

JACOB
The man watches you warily as the earthen ramp crumbles a few moments after you are redirected by it.
ZIL
The door opens easily when you push on it, the area within a simple space that might almost be a mundane office on Earth. A woman sits behind the counter, a bored look on her face as she reads a book and looks up as you walk in. "Well-met, sir. I assume you're here to have your Runes identified?"
LENORE
The eye blinks twice before narrowing as it glares at you. "It's mah lake 'cuz Ah dun bin here fer th'last twenny year, now git'chu gone away frum mah lake."
VIRGIL
The man's house is small, three rooms and a small closet-area. One room is a kitchen-area, another is the bedroom, the third is the small entryway you are now standing in. Two old chairs with worn-out rockers sit in front of a small pit-fire, and the old man sits down in one of them and gestures for you to take the other. "Ichaue na bedde," he says when he sits down, his hand reaching for a silver charm hung on his cane.
((I'll be entirely honest, I lost all of the notes I had on the world and your individual situations when my former computer decided to have a heart-attack and die. Your situations will be as best I can remember them and reconstruct from the posts here.))

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys From the look there is a time limit. He has taken out what he could tell was the major problem with the bow. Another bit of his distance attack ability that he had shown so far was out of his reach as well as he gave a small glance back to the spear. "To attack again and make the best of this for a bit or cancel it and check him out" Jacob whispered to himself as he looked at the bandit. Reaching forward he dug one of his claws into the ground dragging backwards and tearing up the ground as he thought about his choices and moves he had at the current point. He from the look of it was going to have to kill this bandit as well unless he could simply disable him which would be significantly harder.
Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

Man, I can tell this is going to get crazy. I just wish I didn't need subtitles to understand this guy. Virgil thought to himself as he took the seat indicated in front of the fire.

Zil looked at the woman a little dumbfounded at first but appeared to be back to his senses in a few seconds saying, "Ah... Oh. Right. Okay, sure", he said continuing in his mind, 'Whatever that is'. He looked at the woman for a bit, wondering if he needed to do something or other for this 'rune identifying' gig to happen.
