The creature slammed into the side of Millie's boat hard, knocking her off her feet and back into the bottom of the boat.
"Hey!" She cried, slightly miffed that the creature barely gave her a chance to cast off before attacking.

The attack hit her boat, and Terra, already pissed off, HIT BACK. She summoned her violin and slammed it into the water, striking the attacker. "STOP ROCKING MY BOAT!" she bellowed at it, looking quite fierce--for a soaked, freezing little reaper who sniffled right after yelling. "Bully!"

Millie got to her feet and watched the fin circle her boat, weaving in and out. She swiped at it with her glaive when it got just close enough to reach.

The fin sliced through the water towards Nahm's boat, and he delivered a sharp smack to the water where he thought it would be next - but the fin submerged smoothly and he hit nothing but water.
There was an ominous bump against the keel of the little boat.

Cutting it didn't seem to dissuade the creature. Maybe stabbing it would work. Millie heaved her weapon over her head and tried spearing the fin instead.
This seemed to do as much good as a mosquito bite as the creature just slapped the side of her boat irritably.

"AND STOP ATTACKING MY FRIENDS!" Terra bellowed, moving with the rocking (she had excellent balance it seemed) and slamming her bladed violin into the water again, almost as hard as she possibly could. "YOU BULLY!!"
Little senorita was seriously PISSED.
