Enki's ears flicked up as he noticed the tone of her voice. "You ok Zecora?" A tone of worry was in his voice. It really just hit him, as hard as he was taking this, he never imaged how hard she was taking this. His ears fell as he followed her inside the hut. How horrible was he?

He waved his hand in front of his face at the smell and the dust, but the light pointed to a bed. Well that was something to go on. He put the bags on the ground and went item fishing again, pulling out the solar blanket and handing it to Zecora. "Here, you'll need something to rest your head on after all."

Zecora nodded her head slowly, "Yes, though it is just as you have said. A long day." Zecora did not even think about the fact that she was going to be sharing a bed with Enki, she had never shared a bed with anyone. She quickly fell into it, and despite how old and worn and horrible smelling it was, it felt as if it was made of the most luxurious materials to the worn pae. "Thank you Enki, you are most kind to me."

Enki smiled as he tossed Zecora's bag on the bed. "Don't forget about your blanket." He said as he dropped his bag off to the side and heading to the bed. He looked to Zecora for a moment before flopping down on the floor beside the bed, leaning against the wall and closing his eyes. How did this all happen? Why did this all happen? What was going on? Besides being lost they had no clues to what was going on. He would have been more frustrated if he wasn't so tired.

Zecora smiled, "I can't hog all de blankets Enki!" Zecora exclaimed with an exasperated sigh as she threw the second blanket at Enki with one more bit of energy before curling up on the bed. When he laid down on the floor, Zecora gave him a good, hard stare. "Don't be silly Enki, there is room enough for you..." she said sleepily.

Enki got hit square in the head with the flying blanket. For someone so tired she sure did have some spunk left in her. "I'll be fine. Not the last time I'll be sleeping up in a tree without anything." He was tempted to throw it back but stopped as she seemed to glare at him. "Wouldn't that be...Sorta weird?" He rubbed the back of his head. "I'll be fine on the floor, Don't worry about me."

Zecora shrugged her shoulders thinking it was only strange if you make it strange. "It is your choice, but if you change your mind in the middle of de night there is room for you." Zecora scooted as far over as possible so that there was enough room for him if he did change his mind. She wasn't going to argue with him any further on the subject. She closed her eyes ready to fall asleep.

Did she? Oh great. Enki seemed to flail mentally as he was over come by guilt. She was his friend and...She really didn't care? The male rubbing his eyes and thought about it. It WOULD be nice to sleep in a bed again, even if this one was old and probably smelled funny. Maybe if he didn't think about...And there was no touching he could do it. He slowly got up again, looking the bed over. There was another problem, though it was really his own problem. His wings. In his perfect world, he'd just face himself away from her. In his perfect world, but the world was not perfect. Even though it was a large bed, his wings were also large. They would easily brush against her in the night, and the last thing he wanted to do was anger her. He took in a breath before wrapping his blanket around himself and flopping in the bed, keeping his eyes closed as he faced her. If he didn't see or think about it, she wasn't there!

Zecora couldn't help but laugh lightly at Enki's strange methods. She was glad he would at least be more comfortable now that he wasn't on the floor. After that the female quickly fell asleep and slept comfortably through the night. It wasn't until light started streaming through the hut that she awoke. She silently moved out of the bed and began walking around the hut, looking at the artifacts left behind by those who had been there before her. It was quite a mess in the tree-hut, so Zecora treaded carefully as she lifted things.

Enki's ear twitched at the sound of the soft hooves steps of his companion. The sun was beaming through the broken window...And he hated. The male groaned and buried his head in the musty bed. He had taken quiet the liking to the bed, if only he imaged it was his own. Sleeping in trees all the time had done more to him then he'd like to admit. His back....He just wanted to stay in bed...Five more minutes.

As the pair wake in the morning and started exploring the tree-village, they'll find many broken artifacts and loose pieces of history. Many items would indicate that Faerie Pae'il might have lived here once. Not much in known about Faerie Pae history other than they appeared one day years after the Angels and Demons awoke, and this tree-top village is far older than just a few years.

This village shows decades of wear underneath the centuries of abandonment. The monkeys that come to claim their nut meals have practically destroyed most of the remnants of the past, so it's hard to discern how the residents lived, or why they left.

In another hut, a few bridges away, lights flashed and strobed. Even in the bright light of dawn, the lights were visible, and out of place. Upon looking inside this hut, Enki and/or Zecora will be shown a vision of the past:

A table in the middle of the room, with a large, single candle lighting the space. On the table were three maps. Standing at the table were about 6 Pae'il. Faerie Pae'il. They seemed engaged in a heated argument and continued to point at the various maps and make visible their discontent. There was no sound, but the smell of the fragrant candle wafted in the air, belying the situation in front of the spectators to the vision. At one point, one of the Faeries knocked the candle over, spilling the melted wax and catching one of the maps on fire. The rest scrambled to dampen the fire and save the map.

Something outside of the vision got the attention of the six Fae, and they all ran out of the room, through Enki and Zecora. The looks on their faces looked grim, and it was apparent that something terrible had happened.

If Enki and Zecora move into the now "empty" room, the vision will fade. If they turn around and attempt to follow the six fae, they will find nothing behind them. But inside the room, they will find the candle on the center of the table, untouched for hundreds of years, covered in cobwebs and dust. Next to it, the partially burned map lays. The other two maps are gone, but there are spots on the table with no dust, indicating that the other two maps may have been picked up recently.

In the center of each dust-free rectangle is a large, red coin with an imprint of the pictograph representing rare demons.

((The event is officially over, no more prizes can be earned now that you both have your final Iris post with prize. However, Zecora and Enki still need to find a way home, as this RP is canon and part of the shop's story now. The magic that held them in this location and may have stunted any powers or abilities is gone. They are free to find a way home, however perilous you may want to make the journey.

The coins, as prizes, will be explained in our event wrap-up post. There is one for each of you.

One of you are welcome to take the map. If you chose to, you have to try and find another pae that may know something about it, or at least know how to read it.))

It was difficult for Zecora to gather any sort of information from what she found. She heard the sound of Enki's groan and looked over at her waking companion. Zecora was ready to start the day and get a move on, but she smiled softly at the male, he looked so at peace sleeping there. "Enki, I would like to see more of de village... but you may sleep. I will be alright, the sun has risen." She spoke softly to him.

Huh what? Exploring? "Don't know what's out there." He groaned again as he finally sat u, his brain trying to put everything together. He wasn't too sure where he was or who that was, but he didn't want them going alone, that was for sure! He made a move to get up, not remembering he was in a bed, and fell face first into the floor. "Ow." It was going to be a good day.

"No, we don't know what is out there." Zecora agreed, smiling softly at the statement that had seem to come out of his sleepiness. It was cute. "But I intend to find out." Zecora watched him trying to get up, and watched him begin to head towards the floor. She had lunged toward him, but it was too late. "Oh Enki!" she cried out, concern thick in her voice as she leaned down to help him up. "Are you alright?"

"I'm ok I'm ok." Enki managed to mumble. His head....Well he was awake now. Zecora? What was...Where was he? Oh..Right, lost with her in a jungle. It was all coming back to him. "Ya I'm ok." He said more awake now, rubbing his head. "Did you sleep well at least?" Morning small talk wasn't really his strong subject.

Zecora giggled genuinely, the male was so strange when he was waking up. "Not a mornin' pae?" she asked him with a chuckle after she was certain he was alright. The female nodded her head slowly, "Yes, I slept most well." She was glad they had found this place, she wasn't sure how well she would have slept suspended in the hammock or on the ground with the strange creatures. "You did good finding dis." Zecora praised him. She'd give him a chance to recover before pushing him to explore again.
