I hope you heal up properly.

On the one hand, I agree with Ythan in that reading this is making my skin crawl...
But at the same time I desperately want to know what's happening 'cuz I'm super worried about you :'C
I really really REALLY hope that you'll heal properly and everything will be hunkydory *HUGS*

UPDATE TIME KIDS
Seems the edges of the retina still want to come off and some of the oil had shifted to the front of my eye.
Also the hole they made for the oil had healed because my body is retarded and will heal the things it shouldn't whilst ignoring the part we want fixed.

They laser'd the hole back open today, I was awake for it for once.
Jesus Christ ******** that s**t.
It was like being shot inside the eye with an airsoft gun.
Or maybe like someone was flicking my eye socket.
Just...
Never again plz.

It's in less pain now than it was yesterday in the very least.
With how much it's costing with these repeated attempts at fixing this s**t and the fact that it won't stay fixed I'm about ready to ask them to give up though.

:C
That's a pretty heavy decision to make...
It's not your fault the procedure isn't working, can't you get some kind of compensation for this s**t?
I mean... I'm not the type to jump up on the suing bandwagon, but damn!
Part of me thinks you could probably get a lawyer to say,
"Hey! You know what? YOU'RE the one who keeps ******** this procedure up. My client shouldn't have to pay for YOUR mistakes."

Although part of me also thinks they've already covered their asses with some sort of fine print in a waiver saying,
"Yeeeeeah this isn't 100% guaranteed to work so if we ******** it up, oh well tough s**t."

Oh Felin... I'm so sorry you have to go through this s**t...
I said that before, but knowing you might lose your eye entirely is just a million times worse... ;_____; *hugs*

Well like I can't sue them for the fact that my body is just refusing to heal.
It's fine, I've actually realized that if I do give up I can try to see if they'll take my undamaged cornea as a donation.

Forgot to update this after the last appointment.
After a pressure check from the laser guy I caught one of my two doctors when he wasn't busy.
I brought up that I wanted to donate my cornea if things kept going as they were.
Surprisingly he decided to take a look at everything on the spot though I had no appointment with him.
After looking at my retina again he said the bottom had come back off, the top was only held in place by the oil they'd put in.

I now have an appointment with their cornea specialist to see if it's worth even taking.
If it is I get to start the process of trying to convince people to take my cornea, as live donations are apparently rare.

Also have a scheduled meeting with a friend who makes jewelry, she's going to make me a rad-a** metal eye patch what will be engraved with I'm not sure what.

I'm sorry your eye refused to heal, but I'm proud of you for wanting to donate the cornea!
Hopefully it'll be good and then someone who really needs it can get it.
And it has to be a live donation? I guess a cornea isn't like a heart or liver where it can be put on ice for a while
(wow that was really morbid...)

I'm really sorry it's not going to heal up and as mentioned, super awesome that you're looking into donating it! (It's strange how people are more willing to take dead corneas but live ones are unusual???)

also idea for eyepatch:

Actually they usually refuse live donations, I'd have been a special case.
NOTE I USED THE PAST TENSE.
Turns out my cornea is also crap.

AND ADDY WINS THE IDEA.
