Like the night she had been abducted, Carly was completely unaware that there was any danger until suddenly a flash of movement caught her eye. Uncomprehending, Carly looked on as Diana fought with a strange man and knocked him out in a matter of seconds. She was even more scared when she started to remove the plethora of weapons that he had on his person.
"What's going on? What happened?" She blurted out, trying to figure out what all of this meant. Who was this man, and why was he so heavily equipped with weaponry? These were definitely not run of the mill deer hunting weapons, and it was far too late to be doing such a thing anyway, so that could only mean he had been after one of them. She would have been dead by now if not for Diana, she thought. Still, she couldn't yet bring herself to say anything more. She began to shiver with fear, watching Diana as she continued to find weapons. I want to go home, she thought, feeling a distinct knot in her stomach. I just want to go home.

"I don't know..." Diana finally admitted as she finished going through most of his stuff. She tried to roll him over, pushing against his heavy body with no luck. She let out a few huffs before finally rolling him over. Aside from the weapons, she found a lighter with a pack of cigarettes and a camera. She also found some rope and several knives. She found his wallet, opening it up and sifting through it. He had a military ID and a drivers license from a distant state. Hidden, she found a few pictures of stabbed people being hung from the trees in the forest and she frowned. Apparently he liked to hang people he stabbed to death, then take photos. She also noticed a strange card with an insignia on it that matched the pattern on the dagger in his hand. She frowned, taking his cash and sticking it in her pocket. "I'm leaving." She stated, starting to gather the weapons for herself.

Carly felt almost nauseous as she watched Diana confiscate this man's belongings. It was even more upsetting not to know what was going on. Everything was just so confusing, and so, so scary. The girl remained silent until suddenly Diana declared she was leaving. Then she piped up.
"Leaving? Leaving where? Have you noticed that we're in the middle of nowhere?"
She didn't even try to keep her voice down. Her terror was gradually melting away into anger at this whole situation, making her almost hysterical. I just want to go home I just want to go home I just want to go HOME-
"And what about this guy?! What if there's more of them?"

Diana was silent for a moment as she looked at Carly with a brow raised. "If I walk one direction long enough, I'll come across a road or the ocean or a fence or something. And I'm leaving because chances are there are more of them." She stated bluntly as she lined her pockets. She stood up and dusted herself off, looking as if she were about to start walking.

Carly narrowed her eyes, giving an apprehensive look, as Diana explained what she was doing. "Oh really?" She asked, for the sake of being argumentative. As usual, it was hard for her to admit that someone else was right. "Well then I'm coming with you." It was more beneficial for her than it would be for Diana, but Carly knew she was unwilling to just stay here in this forest all alone. Especially now that there had been this man who had tried to kill them. Carly stood as well now, mimicking the action of dusting herself off and then running both hands through her hair. She knew she was dirty, and was uncomfortable about that. Hopefully Diana knew what she was doing. There had better be a way out of this forest.

Diana let out a small sigh before she began walking. She didn't even try to argue with her. She recalled where she had found the river and began walking towards it. As soon as she reached the river, she began moving upstream. After all, one can not survive without water or food. Her legs ached from the stress of being overworked and she began to be hit by exhaustion. For all her brains, she knew her body couldn't keep this up. Looking further, she spotted a waterfall and began to move towards it. As she got closer, she thought about starting camp at the edge of the river when she suddenly spotted an opening behind a waterfall and felt it was as good as she could probably get. She slipped behind the water wall, taking a closer look as she lit her lighter. The cave was the size of a small room and surprisingly empty. She began to walk around, tapping the bedrock and looking at the surrounding stone. "Its cement..." She muttered in thought. "Odd." She thought, noticing there appeared to be no bugs in the cave either. Still, she was running out of options. Sleep and safety was a priority.

Adrian was scouting through the woods for any game his knifes were safely kept from sight in his pockets and he did have a handgun, but he only used it execution style, point blank on the back of a victim's head. It was only fair that way. While Adrian did own a few swords, they were not easy to conceal, so he usually didn't carry them during the hunt. However, if their game was already starting to become aware, perhaps they could be used.

Adrian knew the woods like the back of his hand. With all the years he participated in the hunt, he knew exactly where he was and how far from headquarters he was, just by his surroundings.

Without saying a word, Diana took off her shirt and pants, leaving on her underwear and leaving her clothes and collected items in a pile in the cave. Still, she took the assassin's dagger with her. Better safe then sorry. She then peeked her head out and looked around before slipping into the shallow part of the river. It was cold, but she forced herself to get used to it. As she walked into the deeper part of the river, she leaned against a rock so that she wouldn't get swept away by the current. She put the dagger on the rock as she began to wash her hair and watched the forest. Suddenly, her eyes spotted movement, and she sunk her face halfway under the water to wait and see if it were Carly or another psychopathic killer.

Adrian passed by the river, his boots carefully treading the ground as his eyes wandered around, looking for signs of his prey or for any traps. He stopped for a moment and narrowed his eyes. He listened closely for any sudden noises. He didn't smell any smoke in the air, so no one had a fire nearby, or at least not in the direction the wind was coming. He thought he heard splashing in the river, but then again, that could just be the water splashing against a rock. Perhaps it was best to go and check though.

Carly followed Diana without hesitation, including when she went behind the waterfall. She too was confused and intrigued that the cave they had found was made out of cement, which must mean there was some sort of secret passageway. Carly walked around in circles, tapping and pushing against the cement wherever she could, trying to find a trap door or something. When she looked over at Diana for confirmation she was taking off her clothes, so the girl politely averted her eyes. Then when Diana left, presumably to bathe, Carly continued with what she had been doing. That was why she was unaware as someone gradually approached them.

Diana spotted the stranger walking towards the river and kept her head low. He looked armed and dangerous. Hopefully, he would just mistake her silver hair for a rock. Suddenly, she remembered that she left the knife out on the rock she was next to and tried to keep calm, staying in her place and watching him carefully.

Adrian got closer down to river and spotted Carly, but his eye didn't catch Diana. Well what do we have here. Someone's being nosey, the hunter thought to himself and slowly began moving towards the girl he spotted.

Slowly, Diana lifted her head when she saw that he was slowly moving towards the cave. She pushed herself against the current and grabbed the knife before sinking back into the water, hoping the sound of the splashing waves would cover any sound she made. She then kept low as she made her way back to the shore. She slowly emerged onto the land, freezing. She took a deep breath, trying to suppressing her shaking from the cold as she carefully held the dagger, praying he wouldn't turn around.

Stella licked her lips on and off through the final briefing, getting more excited as the minutes passed. Strangely, though, she didn't rush out as soon as the Assassin leader declared the hunt open. That wasn't the way she worked. Instead, she went into the ladies' room and began to deliberately muss herself up. It looked rather odd, but served a purpose. If the prey was more intelligent this year, it just meant they had to outmaneuver them, so Stella had decided she would masquerade as one of them. Earn their trust, and then pick one or two of them off near the end of the season. It made her almost giddy just thinking about it.
Ten minutes later, Stella exited looking bedraggled, just as she had planned. Her clothes were torn, her hair was tangled and slightly wet, and her knives were hidden safely on her person where she knew they wouldn't be visible. Unlike some of the others, she didn't have a lot of weapons, but she was glad for it because they would only have weighed her down. Licking her lips again, the hunter moved towards the door and wondered where she would go first.

Carly heard the splashing of the waves nearby, but not the sound of someone approaching. She did, however, sense that someone was indeed getting closer. "There's got to be some sort of hidden door," she murmured, thinking the person was Diana. Then she turned.
"H-hello?"
She didn't spot Adrian yet, but something was telling her she was in danger. I'm probably still nervous because of that guy we saw, she tried to reassure herself. Still, the knot in her stomach continued to tighten. Carly began to consider running, but to where?
