Got a pretty strong idea of what the end goal on my item is... I'm just sort of struggling on how to get there.
Still small part of me debating going PVP to spice things up.

Item: The Golden EyeMade of slightly tarnished gold, and perhaps some bronze, the decorated object is the size of a human eye, and very clearly designed alike one- giving those near it a slightly uneasy feeling that it can, in fact, see them too. Domain: Darkness, Death, & EarthHeavy with a power from somewhere deep, dark, and below the earth, the eye has been known to lend its holders sight of things human eyes cannot see. Goal: Revive Rydeus[1] Locate a hero(ine) of the blood of one of the ancient priest-kings, whom has proven his/her strength and cunning. [2] Locate the Tomb of Rydeus. [3] Determine and acquire the means of unlocking the Tomb of Rydeus. [4] Enter Rydeus Tomb and have the hero wielding the Golden Eye complete the ritual of His revival.

Item: A six sided die This die is made of the bones of an unknown creature and feels as if it were made of stone. The pips are half faded, but still can be determined if one squints hard enough.
Powers: Death and Destruction
The two things worth wagering on.
Goal: Decide the Universe
1) Find a person who has everything. Take away all this person has. 2) Help this person or their descendants gain everything. 3) Guide this person or their descendants to someone with the agency or power to destroy the universe. 4) Get the person to wager everything with the fate of the universe on the line.

Rain Yupa Well, THREE of you are certainly Negative Nancies, it seems. Who said darkness was a bad thing? Item: The Green King's BladeA simple dagger whose handle is made of wrapped leather, full tang. The quillions, however, are decorated with leaf patterns Celtic in design. A name decorates the guard in an ancient alphabet - EFA. (Step 5 - Ironically, the blade's name is Adda) Domain: Darkness and CreationNot all that is born in darkness is evil. After all, darkness came first. Goal - Cleanse the kingdom of Carlion1) Locate a hero(ine) of the bloodline of one of 32 lines of knights, whom has proven their worth as a warrior 2) Locate the scarred land of Carlion 3) Remove the Usurper from the throne (the Usurper can ONLY be defeated with the dagger, though ...) 4) Enter the guarded tomb of Gualguanus and have the hero(ine) perform the ritual to bring life back to the dead kingdom. Connections (edited after Paidi posted) [ The Golden Eye] The eye offered to this dagger the most thorough view on life. The dagger was more of an optimist about things, but the eye reminded them to see all of their bearers through more realistic "eyes" - not everyone wants to use restorative powers for good. [ D6] The two would not often get along, as they (Adda) did not believe the gods made the world solely through chance. There was still a mutual respect between the two, as the blade did notice that the world looked to sometimes treat its inhabitants as if circumstance was dictated by luck. [ Sacred Azure Katana] They had met prior, and Adda had always felt the sword had taken a colder ( emotion_awesome ) approach to the world. Adda had seen the world as something warmer, with potential. The village they had both saved from an unnatural plague had given the katana a better reception, but they were used to it. They wouldn't agree in their own philosophies regarding the world and its inhabitants, but they knew when to set aside those disagreements.

Oh sure, show me up with an extra fancy full description. xd Step 4 - ConnectionsItem: Sacred Azure KatanaAs with anything of Ashidaka craftsmanship, Taruhi is a sight to behold. She is bound with the traditional white rayskin tsuka and wrapped with sky blue silk ita. The azure steel tsuba is shaped to match an ancient mon, the head of a crane with a single wing circled protectively around a katana, and not solid to improve weight. The blade is perfectly balanced and immaculately maintained, gleaming a supernatural blue due to the azure steel from which she was forged. The saya is a matching sky blue with white silver fittings. Domain: Ice and LightDivine radiance and precision, unyielding. To those who follow the path of justice and honor there is benevolence and protection; to those who defy and corrupt The Way there is only cold, all-piercing wrath. Goal - Be Wielded by the Greatest Swordsman[1] Discover the identity of the greatest swordsman alive. [2] Locate this greatest swordsman. [3] Be wielded in a fair duel against the greatest swordsman. [4] Be wielded voluntarily by the greatest swordsman in battle. Connections[The Golden Eye] Though opposites, a truth-seeing eye has a certain sense of honor. Or at the very least useful. Misconception or not, Taruhi has once saved the eye from a hero who had learned how to destroy it.
[D6] A bigger antithesis there never was. Taruhi understands the dangers such an unbridled force of chaos presents, and has always worked to undermine its goals whenever their paths cross.
[The Green King's Blade] A tool of darkness and deception, not meant for honorable battle... and yet... is often found working to benefit the lives of the innocents around it. Taruhi has worked together with this strange vatcha to save a plague-stricken village, and even had a philosophical discussion to which neither could prove the stronger. They were hardly friends when they parted ways, but there was a bit of mutual respect.

Plainsfox Item: A six sided die This die is made of the bones of an unknown creature and feels as if it were made of stone. The pips are half faded, but still can be determined if one squints hard enough. Powers: Death and Destruction The two things worth wagering on. Goal: Decide the Universe 1) Find a person who has everything. Take away all this person has. 2) Help this person or their descendants gain everything. 3) Guide this person or their descendants to someone with the agency or power to destroy the universe. 4) Get the person to wager everything with the fate of the universe on the line. [Connections] As part of previous attempts to meet its goal, the die has been in contact with several vatcha previously. The Sacred Azure Katana Hana of the Twisting Stroke, a wandering gambler once held both The Sacred Azure Katana and the Die. She quickly gained renown as a skilled duelist and was not too far from being acknowledged as perhaps the best swordswoman ever when the die chose to enact the next step of its plan. After Hana lost all of her valuables, she was found dead in a gutter with the Sacred Azure Katana in her belly. The die had thought Hana strong enough to survive this setback and feels the Sacred Azure Katana's influence on the situation. Needless to say, the die is not amused with the katana. The Golden Eye The Golden Eye's ends are very useful to the Die and the Die has tried to help the descendents of the high priesthood along. Unfortunately, these people tend to have the survival sense of a group of naive lemmings and abysmal luck to boot. Although the die is pretty certain the Golden Eye will never believe him, but a chance to fail is still a chance to fail and the Die had nothing to do with the banana peel that the Golden Eye's wielder slipped on. Nor the four flights of stairs he fell down Nor the spear that the wielder managed to impale himself on nor the ogre that happened by and decided to dance a jig on whatever was left of the body. We did mention the abysmal luck thing, right? The Blade of the Green King The Die has had little contact with the Blade of the Green King. Although the Die notes that the Blade of the Green King's quest is similar to the Golden Eye's quest. The die would like to help The Blade, but with knicknames like "The Chaste" "The Confessor" and "The Holy", the descendents of the 32 worthy knights don't tend to be sorts who make use of the Die all that much.

It is the flesh of the gods, and so it will return- by covering the Golden Eye in the blood of a divine entity it will revert to flesh for a time, and thus be vulnerable until removed from the light of day, at which point it would revert.

Not the most creative of names, but it fit. Taruhi would have no other. 5) Name: The Die will suffice, although it has been called many, many things in its existence.
6) The die may be destroyed simply by wagering its destruction on the outcome of an event. It will allow itself to be destroyed at that point.
