Zero was playing basket ball but he gave up saying it was biring and he sat on the bench took a small book out of his pocket and started to read it.

Her eyes looked over, noticing that Zero was sitting out. Akira looked back over and the bell rung. She changed back to her usual clothes and left the gym. It was lunch now.

Akira went to her locker and grabbed her lunch. She moved to the stairs at the back of the school and sat down. Hardly anyone went there during this time so she sat down and began eating.

Zero finished his lunch and headed outside he saw a picnic table out back of the school and sat at it and started reading his book.

The girl finished and went over, seeing Zero. Akira decided to go over to him. "What are you reading?" she asked curiously and sat down in front of him.

Zero looked up and said "well...ha ha uh its a romance book yeah i wouldn't seem like the kind of guy to read that kind of stuff but i think if i read it i sometimes could have a feeling of some sort or believe that i could fall in love with some one." zero looked at her and said "the home coming dance is coming up do you have anyone you want to go with?"

Looking at the book, she was a bit surprised to know it was a romance novel. She didn't say anything about the book though. When he asked about the dance Akira shook her head. "No, I don't go to those things. I don't even know how to dance." she said with a small nod.

Zero looked at her and he said "well i can teach you its a simple one its basically a slow dance. also i will be singing at the dance so you should come and here me."

Akira ran a hand through her raven black hair. "I'll go... but only for a little. "
She finally said to him, not sure as to why he'd want her to go.

Zero looked at her and he said "well i have to get to my next class metal working bye akira." smoke appeared around him and when the wind blew it away he was gone but his book was left behind with a note on it and it said "To akira: love is right around the corner you just have to search for it you never know it might be in front of you the whole time but you never saw it.

When he vanished her eyes looked down at the note. "Yeah right. I'm done with love " She mumbled but picked up the book and went to her next class. Since she was just sitting in the library she decided to read.

Zero was walked into the library and asked about a book and he was told where it was. he looked for it grabbed it then left

Akira noticed that she was actually enjoying the story. It was nice. Her eyes looked up, noticing Zero walking in and leaving. A soft sigh left her lips and she went back to reading.
