@ Plainsfox, Paidi, Raga:
The Investigation rolls explained: The TN 20 roll is to find a place to look for items. It can be one item, it could be several. Generally, it involves roleplaying out. A good example of this roll is Plains's roll of "finding a shrine". The TN 25 roll is to specifically find an item without worrying about location. If Plains had rolled this instead, he could have "found a charm" rather than "found a shrine that might have charms". It could be a shrine, it could be a consecrated plot of land with a charm stuck on the fence, it could be a crazy old guy selling charms in the street. The TN 30 roll is basically a player saying "I don't know what to do for _______ on the list" and I just bring them to something that would satisfy it.
The TN 20 one has more flexibility to be rewarding, but then again, it could be a bust. This is where those secondary skills come into play. Plains, what your roll should be while looking in the shrine for charms is Intelligence/Lore: Theology. NOT Perception/Investigation. You already did that part of the roll. It might be different than theology if you can justify it, but it should be something appropriate for what you're doing.
One could roll for different things while at the same location, but generally, shouldn't be looking for the same thing on multiple rolls. "I look for charms! I look for charms harder! HARDER STILL!" If a place didn't have it, it didn't have it. Even the TN 25 roll, or TN 30 roll, might yield more than one item with secondary rolls, depending on where I send you and your creativity. smile
@ PupSage: Am I expecting a post to go with your initiative roll? Just so I know.

Either way attack + dmg + extras 6k3 attack + 2k1 for full attack = 8k4 3 raises for headshot 7, 4, 8, 1, 4, 4, 1, 10
4k3 DMG 1, 2, 2, 8,
Explosions 5
Attack: 10 + 8 + 7 + 4 + 5 = 34 - 15 = 19 for head shot 12 DMG

Rain Yupa Plainsfox Right Right >< I'll roll it here then. Intelligence/Lore: Theology 4k3 (+3 if I get Ms. Moshi's help) w/ 2 dice to handle explosions Spending a void point to treat it as rank 1. This does not trigger my disadvantage. Results: 15, 18 with Ruri's help. The bonuses people get are for Investigation (Search) rolls to track down a location or item. ^-^ Anything your NPC partners will offer you for anything else, will be done as NPC roleplaying. 3nodding
Doh! Probably could've saved myself a void point then ><
