Kagerou returned to her home, too late for the funeral of the Mizukage and his only family. However, apparently just in time to see the beginning of the changes brought by the new leadership. There was a large group, or maybe it was several smaller groups, around the gates talking very seriously about some sort of improvements. From what Kagerou's ears caught as she signed away on the paperwork required to reenter the village and validated the sigil she bore on her hand, it sounded like there were indeed several groups, each working separately on the common idea of improvements to the village gate. Judging from the tone, this wasn't a formally assigned mission. At least, not yet. However, they spoke in earnest, as if they felt like their ideas had a chance of eventually becoming a formal mission with appropriate rewards.
Similarly, Kagerou noticed little differences throughout the village. Talk of an arena and even being handed a flyer for the arena. There seemed to be more chatter regarding various missions. She noted a difference in supplies being shipped across Kirigakure from when she was last in the village, having learned from her time as a gondolier that the items being ferried could hint a lot towards what was happening where. Right now, there seemed to be a resurgence of building supplies, something Kagerou had seen in a steady decline as the post-Sero modeling completed. Also, it appeared that the gates were not alone in being the focus of renovation brainstorming.
Taking note of what was new and what remained unchanged, because there really were many things that were left unchanged, Kagerou returned home.

• Specialist -The user chooses to specializing in healing medical techniques and gains a great boost to their chakra control in that area. At Chunnin, they gain a -5 chakra reduction to perform techniques in their specialty. at Jounin, -10, at Konin -15 at Sannin -20. To clarify, they they gain a -5 chakra reduction every rank, to a maximum of -20 at sannin. All medical jutsu are still learnable by both sides, but the chakra control only applies to the chosen side.
• Grand Performance - The user can perform both types of arts (ninjutsu and genjutsu) through their performance or instrument, often casting them at the same time (must pay for both techniques). Can perform D rank techniques through instrument at gennin, C at Chunnin, B at jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin.
• Learn Medical techniques one (1) post faster.
• Learn ninjutsu (1) post faster.
• Learn genjutsu one (1) post faster.
• D"eye"versity - Through the use of custom techs, Kagerou can swap between the normally limited abilities and techniques for her sharingan, potentially giving her access to all eye abilities and mangekyou techs. She can never have more than the written limits at any one time (e.g. access to all eye abilities but cannot use more than two at a time). In addition to learning the required custom and whatever additional requirements that custom might have, Kagerou needs to fulfill certain conditions for a safe swap. Each Sharingan ability or technique swapped must be retrained and adjusted to, a process that takes twenty [20] posts at first for each Sharingan ability/technique, is reduced by two [2] posts every time the Sharingan ability/technique is safely retrained, and can take a minimum of six [6] posts per Sharingan ability/technique. If necessary, Kagerou can perform a riskier, instant swap on the fly without the readjustment period, but these swaps can only last for up to five [5] posts and disables the Sharingan, which needs to recover from the strain, for twice [x2] the number of posts that the swap lasted for. Techniques learned with the 'To Copy' Sharingan ability, which can be swapped out, are not forgotten but must be retrained every time Kagerou safely swaps to the 'To Copy' ability. Instant swaps to the 'To Copy' ability give Kagerou all of her copied techniques without needing to retrain them. For every time Kagerou safely swaps to her 'To Copy' ability, her copied techniques take two [2] less posts to retrain, going down to a minimum of one [1] post to retrain each copied technique.
• Miracle Performance - Kagerou can perform healing eiseijutsu through her performance/instrument as if it was ninjutsu of the same rank. When performing healing medical techniques, she can target anyone who can hear her music with the jutsu. I.e. she no longer has to be within touch range of the target to use healing hands.
• Dream Audience - Kagerou's dream is to help as many as she could. From this desire, the dream world manifested the power to multiply the recipients of all of her eiseijutsu techniques. With neither extra effort nor decrease in power, Kagerou can affect two extra targets for each eiseijutsu activation as long as they fulfill the requirements to be a target (i.e. contact for most eiseijutsu by default or sound when Kagerou performs eiseijutsu). Past the starting two, she must spend a total of 5(n-3)+10 energy split evenly between chakra and stamina for each additional target; n = number of targets. Odd energy costs are split with 1 more point of stamina than chakra. This additional cost cannot be reduced or refunded. • The Good Host - 1/2 off all implant chakra requirements.
• Mind and Body - A sound soul resides in a sound mind and a sound body. To ensure the health of all three, Kagerou must master every aspect of medicine. Kagerou gains an additional medical field type. The additional type needs to be trained separately from the first.
• Evergreen Growth - Life always finds a way, especially when it's helped by someone who truly cherishes it. Plants cultivated by Kagerou grow as if the soil they are nourished by is +1 grade higher than it actually is. Unfertilized soil yields crops in 2 rl weeks. Low-grade fertilizer yields crops in 1 week. High-grade fertilizer reaches a new level of fast and yields crops in 4 days. (Post-acceptance note: I just realized that there is an Evergreen religion in this guild. I did not mean for this to be a religious PA in any way. It's just botany. I hope that's not a problem.)
The Father Gates are built as a part of the titanic walls that encircle the basin the village exists within, and the Gate Keeper was the main individual in charge of monitoring all traffic and paperwork associated with it. With stone walls eighty feet thick that flare out to an astounding two hundred feet across at the gates themselves, with a height of two hundred feet, climbing over breaking through becomes nearly impossible, but that doesn't stop guards being perched atop the terrifying height, looking out for miles around them
The gates themselves are rigged to have three, thirty foot thick, stone doors that slide into the walls at their sides, allowing an opening thirty feet across - meaning multiple carts may be given access at one time - though the gates are nearly never opened larger than ten feet at any one time. Now was such a time only a small opening was permitted, with guards checking cargo and paperwork of those coming in, to later be filled into a logbook proper. A man with the Konoha village headband approaching, of course, was noticed...
The Gate Keeper stepped forward, their main desk of operations for the day only to the side of where the great gates slide inside the basin walls, in a small hut-like building fused to the wall itself. The mask and outfit revealed nothing about their identity.
Ichiryu knew that the mission was going on too smoothly for there not to be problems. A wall that is as big as the leaf would protect the leaf but that wasn't the case. Something like that is a no problem at all. Fact he could faise through it. But, it is the guard and if hidden guards around the area that could could coplicate things. "Uh, hi. I'm going to go straight to the chase. I'm from the Leaf and I have an urgent message that needs to be given to the Mizukage and this message was directly from the Hokage. I need to see the Mizukage as soon as possible." All that Ichiryu mentioned that he needs to speak with the Mizukage as fast as he can for that is his mission.
The Gate Keeper made a hand gesture in the air as if to round up whoever was meant to be watching. Two shinobi of Chuunin rank approached, from the small hut of operations, one with a clipboard in hand. Both had practically-short hair cuts. The one with the clipboard stepped closer to the Konoha nin.
"Name, rank, and any papers to prove your purpose here." He spoke, friendly face and friendlier smile. Meanwhile, the Gate Keeper leant into the other Kiri-nin who had stayed back, ushering muffled, distorted words. This Chuunin gave a curt nod and took off back to the hut, pace brisk, and disappeared inside.
Two chinobi approached him. There is no doubt that everyone here is skilled. Overqualifyingly skilled for gaurding the gate of the village. Must do whatever it takes to protect the village, even if it is overkill. The ninja asked Ichiryu for name, rank, and any documentation to prove your purpose."Ichiryu Senju, I am a genin, and there isn't documents that is needed. It is an invitation that I need to discuss with the Mizukage."
"I'm impressed," The friendly Chuunin commented, writing the information down without looking away from the Genin. "They must trust in you quite a bit to make this journey." He smiled and turned to the Gate Keeper, the masked figure unmoving. Barely a minute had gone by and the shinobi who had retreated into the hut was jogging over to them.
"Lord Mizukage is on his way." She spoke, eyes on the Gate Keeper. The cloaked individual barely hesitated before leaning in to whisper to the female Chuunin - barely a moment goes by before she was off again, returning to the hut. The Gate Keeper stepped off to the side, indicating for the Genin to follow them.
"I just put on the kettle," The friendly Chuunin spoke to Ichiryu. "Would you like a cup of tea with us while you wait?" He walked alongside the Genin, clipboard to his chest. Inside the hut, the female Chuunin had just finished clearing the small table inside of any and all paperwork, securing them into a rather empty-sounding filling cabinet.
Ichiryu is feeling a little flattered of what this ninja is saying. "I can't let the Hokage down. This is my first ever request from the Hokage, personally requested."
It is good news that the Mizukage is on his way. Now with that, all he has to do is wait for their village Kage to arrive. The Chuunin offered some tea as they wait for the Kage to arrive. "Thank you, I would like some. Also I have a question. What is the Mizukage like? This is my first request to go to another village and I want to know whom I'm expecting.."He accepted the tea that they offered. This was his first time outside the Leaf Village so he doesn't know much outside the Leaf.
The friendly Chuunin's smile grew at Ichiryu's determination. "That's the spirit." He quietly cheered for the Genin, making sure no-one over-heard them speaking. At the entrance of the stone hut, the Chuunin allowed the Genin in first before going to a counter to make up some tea, as promised, the clipboard set down beside him. The female Chuunin left, the room a little cramped, and the Gate Keeper took a standing guard by the door, arms crossed over their chest. "Lord Mizukage?" The friendly one repeated before giving a soft hum. "You can see he cares." He responded, at last, opening a tin and the smell of green tea instantly filled the small room. "Green or black tea?"
"Green for me." A figure spoke in the doorway - eyes shining with gold and rust - clad in standard dark grey shinobi shirt and pants held up by a belt loaded with pouches. A long, richly dyed black robe hung from his shoulders. The Gate Keeper and Chuunin shot up into a salute; a fist crossed over their chest, left arm straight at their sides. The new arrival regarded them with a small smirk and saluted back in greeting before turning to Ichiryu. "Inka Hizara, Mizukage Godaime. At your service." He bowed his head, a little deeper than was expected a Kage to greet a Genin - even one from another village.
[･･･] Inka Hizara, newly appointed Mizukage, stood in a black rendition of his title's robe. He was proud to see his guard shinobi maintain both respect and responsibility of their task in their treatment of the foreign ninja, and he regarded them with a small smirk after he returned their salute. The individual today appointed with the task, title, and mask of Gate Keeper indicated their head to the chuunin by the tea kettle. The chuunin quickly stepped forward and offered a clipboard with a bow, before stepping back once again. "Hmm?" Inka hummed, looking at the paperwo- the Mizukage let out a small chuckle. "Ichiryu Senju?" Gold eyes flecked with red looked back up to the Genin. "A paranoid man would assume that to be deliberate." He commented, placing the clipboard down on the counter before taking a seat at the table with Ichiryu. "Ah! Thank you." He smirked up to the Chuunin as tea cups were placed in front of them. The friendly man bowed and left the hut, closing the door behind him to leave only the Gate Keeper and Mizukage in the room with Ichiryu. Inka wrapped both hands around the small cup and gazed at the Konoha Genin.
"I hope you travelled without incident - the thick wetlands around here can be troubling at times. You're welcome to stay as long as needed to resupply - heck. We're having some show fights in the arena currently as well. I can write you a permission slip to join in, if interested. Payment included, of course." He went to sip his tea but paused. "I apologise - speak freely." He chuckled, soft smirk still on his features. For all appearances, however, the air was relaxed, calm. Still - Konoha had sent a Genin, alone, all the way over here? Ichiryu didn't appear to be too young a man by any means, but it said something about the current situation, didn't it. Inka sipped his tea once more, quiet now, evaluating.

Finally after the wait and a good talk witht he ninja here. The tea was getting and before he responded, ninjas stood and saluted and bowed before the Mizukage, Inka Hizara. Ichiryu stood and bowed with them as the Mizukage arrived.
The Mizukage sat at the same table with Ichiryu and started to converse. "As much as I love a good fight, I'll take a rain check on that. Thankfully, there wasn't any incident on my way. But that would probably change and I'll take that offer of staying for a few days after you hear of what we are about to discuss. The Hokage is calling for a summit. "
[･･･] "That so..." Inka responded, eyes flickering down for a brief moment. "The Hokage have any dates in mind or is this a matter of urgency?" The Godaime asked, both hands still gently clasped around the small, porcelain cup. Indeed, Inka would have preferred this summon to be accompanied with some paperwork - at least an official seal of the Hokage's office somewhere in sight. A man with no papers, claiming to be a Konoha genin by only the show of his headband was not a lot of means to base trust in this information. Especially when said information was supposedly a summon that requires the Kage to leave their village. Inka had barely been in office for a proper day and he's already being called to every direction. I should have helped you more, Syy.

"I know that not having some kind of documents is ....troublesome. I realized that after the gatekeeper and I talked outside. It is more than just a summit. We're celebrating after the Exams because there was a minor incident. Some of our nin were not feeling spirited and this celebration with the other Kage being there could boost moral. Turth be told and between you and me. I think the Hokage would take this oppoortunity to take a break from desk work. " Ichiryu realized that not having proof is complicated especially when it could cause political problems. Relying on words from an unkknown ninja that is a genin is suspicious at a high level. "I also know what you're thinking or feeling; a ninja that is a genin that has a hidden leaf band and calling fo rthe Kage of a village to come and....I know I thought of the situation being strange."
[･･･] Inka gave a small smirk and sipped his tea. The exams did indeed encounter a... blunder. One that had pulled quite a lot of confidence out of Inka for the organisers. To have allowed a threat to get so close to the village's brightest hope - its Genin, the future guardians of their own home. Combined with the fact the exams were actually different from the initial plan Kirigakura had agreed to, and Inka was one displeased Mizukage. But the Hokage, in light of this recent incident, wishes to pull the village shinobi out of their home again, along with their Kages, when the incident wasn't resolved to a satisfactorily safe measure. What precautions are put in place for a similar incident occurring at the summit? And the resources to pull so many shinobi out to it - Kirigakure had just been drowned and attacked by a resurgence of its own undead citizens and shinobi, and what helping hands had Konoha offered them then? A little whip at their own Genin, however, and suddenly the Hokage wants to waste resources on an oppulant task as a celebration amongst all of the Hidden Villages. Today is a day of mourning for Kirigakure, the ceremonial fire still burning at the base of the giant Sero tree, so he knows the citizens will be reminded of the lack of help they have received from certain others. Only Kumogakure had made any attempt to rectify this slight. And still the lack of any paperwork to show respect of procedure, either...
"There is no such thing as a break from paperwork when you're a kage, Ichiryu Senju." Inka spoke, tone lit with some good-natured humour. The Godaime placed the tea cup down and stood. "Oh, before I forget," Inka looked to the Gate Keeper and asked, "Have the seals been explained to our guest?" At the masked shinobi's negative motion of their head, Inka turned back to Ichiryu with a small smirk.
"Many places of Kirigakure are locked by seals. Public areas, accessible to all civilians, are open to you, but to enter the training grounds, for example, will require you to find a shinobi escort. I will have a written reply to give to you by sundown to return to Hokage Takamatsu. But I wouldn't recommend leaving so close to night. I'll arrange sleeping quarters for you. Sero," At this Inka opened the door to the hut and motioned to the gigantic tree that flourished in the centre of this lake-village. "Is home to both my office and the shinobi accommodation. I'll have your name at the desk at the Sero base, they'll guide you to, and unlock the seal on your room for you. You'll be able to leave as you wish, of course, and I'll ensure a shinobi is always nearby to let you back in." Inka tilted his head to Ichiryu, smirk still in place. "Is that alright?" He asked, concern for the Genin's comfort lacing his tone.

"I'm one hundred percent sure that the work that kages do is mentally exauhsting. Being the leader of an eentire village, I don't think I could imagine the work load that you and the other Kages get on a day-to-day basis." Ichiryu had thought that the work load that thevillage leaders recieve must be loathing. But it needs to be done for the security of the village.
Inka asked if the seals been explained. The Mizukage explained that most private areas, Ichiryu would require an escort and Inka would have a letter done late this day for him on his desk. "Everything is perfect and I would take your advice not to leave late and stay at the provided quarters. I would also like permission to use your training grounds if that's ok? " he bowed asking for permission to sue the training grounds and at that second he asked, he focused on his real body that is waiting just outside to arrive at the gate to arrive. "I originally didn't plan on staying but I you provided perfect reasoning and I had my real body just outside of the village and had my clone, which is me now, to speak to the Kage. If you suggest to not leaving late, then I would take that advice." he explained that he had planned to leave immediately since his Hokage said and ordered: "soon as possible."
