Physical Description: At 4'11'' inches Jennih's not exactly the tallest. Her hair is straight black and usually pulled back into a ponytail. Her skin is a bit on the light tan side, and free of freckles. She has scars from fighting Thread littered where she's been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

L e v e l H e a d e d :
She's not quick to anger. She takes everything with a grain of salt and with lots of patience. There's no reason for her to get angry at her situation. If her cousins come to her with whines about their day, she'll listen and offer advice. If her uncle is contacted by the teachers because of a fight, she shows up to sort things right. She's mainly dealing with little kids, so she had to teach herself to take it in stride.

M o t h e r l y :
Jennih has always been extremely motherly. Since she was little and her first sibling was born. She took care of him when both of her parents were gone fighting. She thinks of her siblings as her children, and will actually say she they are hers and no one else's. That's not to say she doesn't love her parents, she just wishes they were around more.

S h a r p :
Sharp tongue, eyes, and mind, Jennih doesn't miss much around her home. She can cut you down with her words. It's how she raised the kids, with sharp words instead of actions like spanking. Sharp minded enough to be able to help her kids with their work and always looks into the real answers to the questions they asked if she doesn't know it. She's always willing to learn.

S a r c a s t i c :
With her sharp tongue comes biting sarcasm that has hurt people. She takes it a step too far more often than not. She jabs and jabs and someone usually has to blow up at her before she realizes what she's done.

R e a l i s t :
There is no 'what if's with her. She looks at the big picture as well as the fine details. She always thinks of the worst case scenarios and thinks the worst of people so she won't be disappointed. No sense in building up expectations in anyone.

U n t r u s t i n g :
Jennih doesn't expect much of anyone and doesn't let people get to close. It's hard to prove yourself to her. She has a certain life style and it makes it really hard to open herself up to anyone outside of her neighbors and really close friends. Sure, she'll make friends, but she'll keep them at an arms length with vague answers.

In a cothold a few weeks ride from High Reaches Weyr, Jennih's mother killed herself when she found out her husband had been cheating on her. Shortly after her funeral, her father was found in a tavern, dead in a mug. She was ten years old when this happened. With no one to take care of her in her small cothold, she was sent to live with her mother's brother, her uncle, Shriva, who lived in High Reaches. Shriva has five kids that Jennih was now in charge of because he was a busy man who was always on the road. She asked why he was always gone once, and he said he was looking to make a name for himself since he wasn't a Rider.

Jennih takes care of her cousins. She cooks, cleans, helps them with Candidate problems because they were all candidates. None of them have impressed yet, but she doesn't let them get discouraged. Her cousins range from 19-14.

Jennih wasn't actually a candidate when Brilith called to her. No, she was in the stands, just watching her little cousins try to impress a hatchling. Her little blue had struggled to get out of his shell, but he managed it. It was a surprise for the whole family when the blue one who shimmered like water called out to her by name. She was fifteen when she became a Weyrling.

As a Weyrling she finally picked herself a craft. It came about in an odd way, but she was trying out different ones and realized that she just sort of fell in love with tannercrafting. Something about stretching, stitching, cutting, and just designing beautiful leather pieces soothed something in her she didn't know needed soothing. She has a keen eye for burning designs into the leather.

Right now she's sort of testing out what she can do, but is leaning more and more towards just General Apparel crafting. Something about making a really good bag is very satisfying to her.

Since the thread returning, Jennih and Brilith have both been a bit anxious. Thread terrifies her, and rightly so. She's seen some of the wounds it can inflict on human and dragons from her time in the cothold before going to High Reaches. Brilith is more anxious to get out into it. To do his part to fight it. He may also try to do more turns and twists than she wants, but so far has managed to not get himself injured.

Physical Description: Somewhat on the bulky, but still agile.
Personality: Brilith is a fun loving individual. It doesn't necessarily mean he's on the go all the time. He has fun with crooning out songs and playing word games. Anything to relax and enjoy yourself. He really likes to stop and smell flowers if he's walking with his rider instead of flying. Going into battle isn't anywhere near the top of his favorite thing to do list, nor is anything where Jennih can get hurt. He likes to try to rope her into just going on aimless flight. He thinks she's too serious most of the time. Slowly he's trying to get her to become a not calloused individual who'll give people an actual chance.
