Physical Description:
She stands about 5'6," with hazel eyes and straight, dark brown hair that is usually kept fairly long. Her complexion is on the fair side of average, but nothing exceptional. Adi is a pretty girl, decently curvy, a little heavier in the hip than in the bust. When not in her riding leathers, she wears as little clothing as is practical for wherever she happens to be. Freedom!
Personality:
Happy~! Adi's cheerfulness seems to know no bounds; she has a smile for everyone, and can carry on a conversation with even the quietest of people (so what if she has to do all the talking? she can!). She loves being happy, and thinks everyone else should be happy, too. If they're having trouble finding a reason to smile, she'll persist until she finds a way to make them smile, whether it takes a hug or something more creative. Oh, and personal space? Adi has no concept of it. She'll sidle right on up to anyone and everyone without a thought, and it never ceases to surprise her when they're less than receptive to her intrusion. She starts out liking someone from the moment she meets them, and it takes quite a bit of doing to change that opinion. They have to be downright, openly mean, and even then, they'll get the benefit of the doubt and a few more opportunities. It takes several kicks for Adi to learn that a certain someone should be avoided, and even then she might give it a go again in a turn or two.
Two of her greatest loves in life are firelizards, which are adorable and conveniently have eggs she can sell if she's in need of a few extra marks, and plants. If it's pretty or edible or just plain weird, Adi is all about it, and if she were ever to stay in one place long enough, she'd likely start a garden.
An unkind word is the easiest and quickest way to wipe the smile off of Adi's face - if it's harsh enough, she'll burst into tears and run away in search of a hug. In that way, and in general demeanor, her personality can be rather childlike: carefree, naive, and innocent-seeming. Outside of talking - and playing, which she will never be too old for! - Adi is also highly enthusiastic about adventures of any kind and scale, from going somewhere she's never been before to eating something new and different to investigating that Suspicious And Definitely Not Dangerous Noise over there. While adventurous, however, she is not brave; she just doesn't necessarily have the common sense to realize when something is potentially dangerous (even if she's aware that a negative outcome is a possibility, she never thinks it will happen to her). Things that are Obviously Dangerous, she will almost certainly run away from...but even if she is backed into a corner or has a reason to fight, she has absolutely zero chance of success. She literally can't fight to save her life.
Though it's extremely rare for her to do it in a malicious way, Adi is quite the gossip. Unless someone's careful to emphasize that they're telling her something in the strictest confidence (a promise is a promise!), anything interesting can and will be repeated...and every now and then, her mouth might get ahead of her mind, causing her to slip with something that should be a secret.

History:
Adi started life at Ista Weyr, her mother a Healer and her father a rider who retired at the fairly young age of 47 after suffering a badly broken leg trying to prove that yes, he could still ride a green runnerbeast (he couldn't). Despite prompt treatment, the break was bad enough that full recovery was impossible, and made riding for even short spans of time uncomfortable at best. So it was that he retired to a warm climate where he might have somewhat fewer aches and pains and proceeded to charm himself a lovely Herbalist. Their daughter spent most of her early childhood running about with no worries, climbing on her father's affable dragon (ostensibly helping S'deri scrub and oil him), and pestering her mother about what she was doing and ohh, what is that plant for?
She became a Candidate as soon as she was able, and in between chores and lessons continued to frolick about as much as possible while she waited for a visiting gold to come and lay a clutch with her dragon in it. She had to wait a few turns, but at 17 she Impressed blue Mazamath, fulfilling her childhood dream of having a friend 'just like Luuth.' Except not really, because while they shared a hide color, their personalities were quite different, but what mattered was that she had a dragon and he was awesome and the very best blue ever (sorry Luuth). After they finished their Weyrling training, the pair wasted no time in deciding to use their freedom to be, well, FREE.
They said goodbye to Weyr life and became explorers, because really, how could you give a curious young woman a similarly fun-loving dragon and expect them to stay in one place? Far from being solitary, off-the-land types, however, they're as interested in new people as they are in new places, and have bounced around both on their own and with caravans, stopping by any Hold or Hall or Weyr along the way that would be willing to have them for a few nights. They make ends meet by delivering messages and packages, selling firelizard eggs produced by Adi's gold La, and collecting specimens for those with a need for or interest in certain flora. Their travels have occasionally taken them to some less-than-savory places, and Adi has been robbed more than once, as well as been swindled and lost money gambling. Mazamath refuses to take her to Nabol or Bitra ever again unless they're in very trusted company.
The sudden return of Thread is very much unwelcome, especially for Adi. Mazamath would be willing to fight it, as he was designed to do, but Adi? Yeah, no, that stuff is scary. It is sometimes difficult for her to keep him grounded, but his love and concern for her trump everything else, always, and he knows better than anyone that she's no good in a crisis, so it's probably for the best that she's not a wingrider.

Physical Description:
Mazamath is a large blue, though not a giant by any means, and is built proportionately to his length. All in all, he's quite typical to his color, with no standout features, although Adi will insist that he is the most handsome blue ever to hatch. He never attempts to disagree.
Personality:
Mazamath is large and in charge... not. Well, he is large. He’s a cool, easy-going fellow. Very chill. It is difficult to rouse Mazamath to anger-- or, well, much of anything really. He’s quite content to be where he is, thank you very much. He’s not exactly lazy, precisely, so much as he believes in conserving his energy. Until, you know, it’s important! Convincing him that ‘now’ is important may prove to be difficult, as Mazamath has hidden reserves of strength. He can be mulishly stubborn, but when he is, he’ll present a very calm face.
If his mind is made up, it is difficult to change. Just as a river will slowly wear away at a mountain, so Mazamath believes he can influence his rider. It’s for the best, after all. Generally, though, he won’t bother. He is very zen, very calm in his approach to life. Fun is the name of the game, and if he isn’t having it, there must be something wrong in the world. He can be exceptionally playful, and is very inclined to go along with whatever mischief his rider has in mind, if the rider in question is the troublesome sort-- assuming, of course, it doesn’t involve a lot of running!
He is above such things, of course. It’s not laziness, it’s that same... conservation of energy. Don’t you look at him funny, he knows he’s being smart. Isn’t he? Who wants to get all fussed over nothing, anyway? Not Mazamath! He has a very soothing way about him, and an inherent belief in his rider’s abilities. If they need backing, he’s there. He likes to be a confidante. If he were human, he’d probably be the bartender to whom you spill your life’s troubles over a mug of something distinctly alcoholic. Lending a sympathetic ear doesn’t require much of anything from him besides listening, after all.
Adi's boundless happiness attracted Mazamath to her almost immediately. She's always seeking to bring happiness into her life and makes sure to do what she enjoys - something Mazamath finds very important. After all, if you don't like doing it, why do it at all? Her persistence in cheering someone up will also compliment his tendency to be that soothing shoulder to cry on - together he an Adi can be the perfect pick-me-up pair with the blue's calming depths and the girl's cheerful disposition.
Adi loves to play and this energy will help rouse the blue into action and his own level-headed approach will help tone down and focus her bubbling enthusiasm. Finally, Mazamath is like any other dragon in that their safety and happiness is his highest priority. Where Adi might not quite understand her attentions are not wanted, if Mazamath gets it into his head that that individual is trouble for His... well, you can bet he's going to oppose her unneccessarily bashing her head against a wall quite strongly. Some people you just can't please and you shouldn't waste your time on them.
