The Jynx hybrid let out a yelp as the Flash went off, his vision instantly going white, the man instinctively rubbing his eyes as if that would make his vision return quicker but alas it did not. It was during that moment of vulnerability when Keiko pounced, getting in several hits in midair in her Frustration fueled fury before the both of them splashed into the lake, where the Jynx hybrid was certainly to get a few more blows once they surfaced. At some point Tristen would note that Keiko had knocked the Jynx hybrid out cold in her fury and simply due to the nature of Frustration might require Tristen intervening to get her to stop. Once he did and they got the hybrid back to the shore a drone would come to take the hybrid away, a Wishing Piece left behind. Another down.

While Cera withdrew her Lapras and conjured up a thick Mist over the lake another trainer had an idea similar to her, the forgotten about Lyra who had used the chaos to slip back into the lake at some point with her recovered Azumarill. Taking the opportunity she triggered one of the drones and withdrew her Porygon2, climbing on the the digital Pokemon's back and before flying off she called out to Cera. "I'd run too if I were you!" And with that ominous warning she took out, leaving behind just one unclaimed drone, the other being fought over by Freth and Silver.

Ryan's combo against the Furret would prove to be a success, the little critter caught in the orb of water and then promptly frozen inside, rendered helpless. Before it sunk to the bottom Jet, who was now on the seashore, recalled his Pokemon. As for the Tauros it would turn around on the water to try and run down Ryan from behind, however William stepped in and upon command a tendril of well timed seaweed (yes it's found in lakes) rose out of the water and tripped the Tauros, causing it to fall and promptly begin to sink after its momentum was cut short. Seeing this Pokemon too was proverbially dead in the water the man recalled his Pokemon.

"Crap! Feet don't fall me now!" Jet muttered to himself as he began to run off, seeing as his Pokemon weren't in any condition to fight. Jet would make it just a few yards away before a strange looking creature charge right up to him and headbutted him in the stomach, knocking him out cold. A Roto-drone was quick to appear and take him away, the Pokemon's trainer arriving right after to claim Jet's Wishing Piece.

Those inside the Mist could see him but he was unable to see them. Dress in a black uniform with white dots aligned in what could be assumed to be star constellations the man didn't seem to be of any team they have encountered before, leaving the Snagems to only guess that they have finally crossed paths with Team Stella. The man was bald and of a trim and toned physique, as if he didn't have an once of body fat on him, though not particular bulky, gymnast build. Fixed over his eyes was some sort of strange visor which would certainly give some Team Flare flashbacks.

His Pokemon, if you could call it that, was even weirder. Insectoid front legs, dragon-like hind legs, a fish tail, and a head encased in some sort of strange helmet, the composite looking creature was unlike anything any of them have ever seen. The pair gave off an aura of power and general trouble, something you just knew meant trouble and yet the energy sensitives could pick up on one other thing; nothing. Neither trainer nor 'Pokemon' had an energy signature, they weren't 'there'. They blended completely into their surroundings, not even a gap was there.

Looking out at the mist covered lake deciding that seeking them out in this mist and fighting them in it wasn't worth the trouble, thank you Cera, and then at the Wishing Piece in his hand the man seemed to have gotten an idea, .. "Your friend Aria didn't put up much of a fight." He called out to them before casually tossing the Wishing Piece into the lake, then proceeding to walk away.

For awhile the action of throwing the piece and walking away would appear bizarre to the Snagems, however not for long. Suddenly the lake began to give off a bright red glow before a pillar of red light shot up from beneath the lake at the center, a storm of Dynamax energy forming above and consuming the lake. It was a den all along! The storm would blow away the mist and trap Cera, Ryan, Tristan, Keiko and William inside of it, leaving them nowhere else to run or hide. Shortly after the storm formed the waters of the lake began to churn viciously followed by a giant claw shooting up out of it and slamming onto the water's surface, sending massive ripples in every direction. The claw was soon revealed to belong to a massive Kingler with a long 'beard' made of bubbles and legs even longer than that! The giant spider-like Kingler positioned its self so its legs stood on the very edge lake shores leaving it to tower over the entire lake. With a booming cry the Gigantamax Kingler waved its claws around in the air triumphantly before throwing a Crabhammer straight down at William's Hydrangea. There was only one way out of this.

-----

Rocks flung by Firebrand would slam into the Rock Channeler giant, followed by Rookidee pecking at the eyes of the Golem Giant with Fury Attack, which apparently it still needed to see, and Swift trying tot trip the thing by running circles around a foot with Quick Attack and delivering annoying blows. So far it seemed like they were being nothing but a nuisance but soon a plan started to form. Leon moved in and his Vulpix began to freeze the joints of one leg while Ulla and Mimikyu came together and ripped an opening up for her Vulpix to get some flames on the inside, the others providing just enough a distraction for them to go unnoticed long enough.

With the Channeler on the inside finding herself sweltering and frantically closing up the pathway of the fire that was when Manna came rocketing into the chest of the construct, the golem unable to bend its frozen leg and simply falling over with a furious crash, a gaping hole left inside exposing the Channeler whose arms and legs were part of the golem and thus unable to defend themselves. Rapidly rocks began to fly up off the ground and already began to seal up the opening.

"Amaranth! Get the artifact!" Sub cried out to her, Pelipper blasting some of the rocks out of the sky with Scald to try and slow down the rebuilding. Amaranth had the fastest Pokemon here, her Dodrio, so if anyone could get there in time to snatch up the artifact it was her.

Probopass, however, was not going to allow its trainer to go down that easy and by Channeling in the other direction the nose Pokemon summoned forth a grand total of twenty mini-noses and began to fire off a deluge of Magnet Bombs at Amaranth and Swift. The others would need to jump in and give her cover.

Tristen sighed hard, relieved over the fact the Jynx hybrid was done after Keiko had her way with him...perhaps...too much. "Uh..." The boy ended up scratching his head, kind of astounded, if albeit confused as to how Keiko's Frustration went off. At least Freth put it all in one solid blow...Keiko's...is just a relentless pummeling. To each their own, he could only guess. "Uh, Keiko, I think he...um..." Tristen would end up stopping himself and having to just instead of trying to talk her down, just pull her off instead, leaving the Roto-drone to pick up the fallen hybrid.

Once eventually he gets Keiko back onto dry land, he knew that he had to move. Time to get to the beacons. His end of his mission was accomplished. So he thought. He looked up, noting that the skies gotten dark with a deep crimson hue, the heralding of a Dynamax in progress. "Wha...!?" Tristen looked back, only to get caught up in yet another fight. He stared at the massive crab, barely recognizing that this was in fact a Kingler. He questioned if there was more to Dynamaxing than what he originally found out.

He was now in a max raid battle, much to his chagrin. He had Wimpod and Eevee on hand, both of which not in the greatest of shape because of the safari they were on before. He had Cera, Ryan, Keiko and William to help him, but would they be able to drop this thing before any of their Pokemon gets taken out? Tristen started to have his doubts. They had to try regardless...

Tristen took out a Pokeball. "Eevee!" Tristen called out, sending the Eevee out for battle. As the Kingler started to go on the offensive, the best Tristen could think to do was to support for now. "Eevee! Yawn!" he shouted.

The Eevee would rush up towards the Kingler, looking right up at the massive crustacean. "Evvuuhaaahhh..." The Eevee yawned out.

Keiko wouldn't need much convincing to stop attacking the Jynx. It was true that she was all but blind while under the power of Frustration, but the rage fueling it was not genuine, which limited the energy the move provided. By the time Tristen got up to her, she was winded - incapable of arguing much less throwing another punch.

The young Manetric hybrid was kind enough to cart her exhausted body away from the downed Jynx hybrid, but he led her straight into a den. Poor freshly hatched Hydrangea didn't stand a chance against the Dynamaxed Kingler's attack and fanted instantaneously. William's removal from the tournament was just as swift, the new trainer unable to even get a word in before vanishing.

"Darn it..." Keiko cursed between heavy breaths. Too worn out to even stand up straight, Keiko let Stasy out of her, hoping the Chansy could help fight off the gigantic Water-type while her trainer fought off an exhaustion coma.

~*~

"Indeedee!" Indie roared upon being let out of her ball. She was the only one of my Pokemon that wasn't weak to Steel, but since she was freshly caught, I didn't expect her to jump into the fray and go toe to toe with a channeler's Probopass. Instead, our contribution would have to be limited. On my instruction, Indeedee created a barrier with her mind via Reflect, shielding our allies from physically strong moves. The barrier couldn't completely block enemy moves, but hopefully this boon would give the other Snagems a leg-up in the fight. It was all I could contribute while Steel-type moves flooded the battlefield.

Ryan and James would both freeze and freeze hard at the sight of the man and his "monster". It was him! The one that had hunted him and James like Poochyena's all across the Wild Area. This was beyond bad. If this man decided to go after the Snagems, they would be cleared out in a blink.

So when he just tossed the Wishing Star and left, Ryan was extra confused, but he didn't have time to stay that way when torrents of water started to batter him and his pokemon. Ryan would use his channeling skills to deflect and re-direct as much of the waves as he could, but he still ended up soaked to the bone.

He then spies the Dynamaxed Kingler. "Now this, this is more like what I can deal with. James, Use Tearful Look. Undine, Moonblast!" Ryan orders.

James looks down all despondent, covering his uncovered eye before looking up at the sky, tears pouring down his face.

Undine would call out to the heavens and call down the full power of the moon upon the Kingler.

Brian was pleased to see that the rocks Firebrand was lobbing at the giant were having some effect, even if it was just being a nuisance. At least, that was until a few others stepped in, having caught onto his idea and attacking the legs and a few other areas of the giant. When a hole opened up in the chest, thanks to Wren's Manna using Rollout, Brian could hear Sub shouting at Amaranth, whom he hadn't met yet, to grab the artifact. A moment later, a Probopass appeared again, firing off Magnet Bombs at Amaranth and her Dodrio. Knowing that Firebrand would be resistant to the move, thanks to be a Fire-type, Brian gave another order.

"Firebrand, use Fireblast on the mini-noses!" he said, pointing toward the Probopass and all the mini-noses it had summoned. With Magnet Bomb being a Steel-type move, Firebrand wouldn't take all that much damage, but even still, better to be safe than sorry. Taking out the mini-noses was the first priority, so that they would cause less damage. Even though he didn't like this trainer, the Fire-type knew he had to work with him in order to get out of this thing, so for now, he would obey, despite his instincts telling him not to trust this human. Summoning up the power he needed, he sent a massive, five-pointed blast of fire at the mini-noses the Probopass had summoned, hoping to blow at least some of them up and create a sort of smokescreen for Amaranth to use to get the Rock Channeler's artifact.

Krysta would arrive late to take Miloch. she had unintentionally fell into sleep after a weird and long day. she woke up to realize camp had been packed up and the snagems had departed. Confused Krysta looked around and had a panic attack thinking the snagems had abandoned her. "Relax sleeping beauty,. They didn't leave you behind." Krysta still partially asleep was confused for a moment... "who said that?" she said confused as to why it sounded so close but also not human. "I Did GRAY Remember? Jeez you sure are smart for a scientist aren't you." Krysta would scowl down at the Device remembering yesterdays events and all that occured. "Right... Where is the team? why did they leave me behind? Did I do something wrong?" Gray let out an electric sounding snort. "Ok kid I'll play nice. Sub told the team to let you sleep. Said you had a hard day or some such. Me? I'd have put you on the back of a hippotas and tied you down and brought you with, but you know how he is. They went to Lake Miloch to try and take it."

Krysta would listen to the annoying ai and ponder talking to sub about reprogramming it to be less annoying. she pushed that aside for now and collected her gear and headed out to lake miloch. Muse took her usual place now at the front of the hoverboard excited by the movement and air. Elgyem sat on her shoulder with that expressionless look on its face.

As Krysta arrived at the Lake she would take about 30 min to look around the lake to see what was going on. She had been here only briefly before but she had seen maps of the area so she had some idea of a way around. After looking around she finally caught site of the snagems in the distance. She couldn't clearly make them out, but she excitedly headed in their direction. As krysta headed in the direction of the snagems she would feel the ground to rumble lightly, and suddenly there was a massive explosion of Pink and red swirling energy. "Whaaaaaa" Krysta yelled as she felt like she was knocked from her board. As she looked on, she saw the expanding bubble encompassing the Snagems. for whatever reason... they were in a dynamax storm. "Ohhh shiiii......" she said. she immediately got on her board and headed straight for the storm. From talking to the snagems the last few days it was clear to her they had little understanding of dynamax and may actually need help.

As Krysta neared the Dynamax storm the vortex of energy would prove unstable and erratic, though when wasn't it? Normally she couldn't get so close to a storm, knowing good and well the chaotic things that could happen but for whatever reason, perhaps out of concern for her friends, she got a little bit too close this time and for whatever strange reason the storm didn't push her away but instead snatched her into its confines.

Krysta would not find herself splashing into the waters of Lake Miloch, now inside the Dynamax storm with the other Snagems (Ryan, Keiko, Tristen, and Cera). She would immediately have her gaze pulled towards and locked onto the giant crab that was standing over the lake and them. It was a Gigantamax Kingler! The Snagems had already begun their assault, maybe she should join in.

Krysta would stare at the ugly crab. "oof some pokemone should not be allowed to dynamax..." Krysta watched as the snagems battled ferociously with the over sized buffet Pokémon Krysta tried to think what she could do to help/ "Hey Muse get in there and try to use a smoke screen to cover the team and blur that things vision" Muse would grunt her acknowledgement and charge off head first into batte. as it ran past all the snagems it started letting out the smoke screen covering the area in a thick dense type fog of poke fumes. "ahh thats gonna stink for a week but good job muse" Krysta would call out.

Wren would continue to use the combination on his channeling and Manna's Rollout until it had run it's course. By then, thankfully, the Channeler was coming was open to direct assault but before that could be done, they'd need to give their swiftest member a path to the target. That Probopass was being problematic again, he noticed even as the others began to take action against it. "Manna... Can you do that thing from the first day again? The Draco Meteor?" He asked the tiny apple core Pokemon.

"Ap app!" Manna agreed, her whole body rocking as she nodded. " Aim for the main body, then. Pack as much power into as you can. Nutmeg and I will help keep it distracted." He told the small Pokemon.

"Nutmeg, Teeter Dance. Keep Probopass' attention on you as long as possible!" He ordered his Steenee. She nodded and bounded up close to Probopass, beginning and wobbling dance wherein her balance seemed a little more than off and yet, with all of her movement, she never fell. She was careful to evade any Magnet Bombs or any other attacks thrown her way.

Wren would attempt to take on the incoming mini noses, himself. Moving to jump forward once more, the middle aged channeler stumbled. "Crap... I'm running out of energy..." He grumbled to himself as he watched the vines on his legs wither away. With the Queen's Heels unable to be used at the moment, he pondered his other options. He could feel his bonds with his two cacti as well as with Altissima but none of them would respond to his call. "Manna... Please pull through."

The tiny Pokemon had, by this time, rolled as close as she dared to Probopass and was practically burning with Dragon energy as she prepared to fire off the massive blast of Draco Meteor as practically point-blank range. If Probopass didn't see her coming and attempt to defend itself, it was about to get a face full of dragon laser.

Beau would just manage to reach the rest of the crew currently dealing with the Channeler monster, catching sight of the opening that Amaranth was being directed to take advantage of. And with a mass swarm of oncoming steely projectiles coming towards the inevitable path. Well, at least he had an easy thing to do to contribute to this particular assault.

"Pistachio! Seed Bomb!" Beau called out, the small Seedot firing off compact balls of seeds and other plant matter. into the fray. And as these bizarre projectiles impacted the Magnet Bombs, they would explode into clouds of leaves and seeds. Hopefully the plant matter chaff and fragmentation that was being provided by the exploding Seed Bombs would manage to deter the Magnet Bombs, if not fully stop them.

"Run? What do you mean... run...?" The world sometimes having a weird sense of humor, Cera's query would find a response before it was even finished when the lake began to glow and survival instincts kicked in for her and Lapras alike. "Nevermind, don't need the answer, RUN!" Much as Lapras tried- and Cera moments later when Lapras couldn't hope to escape the pull- the two of them would get sucked in and find theirselves in a den with a few others. Perhaps the only bit of good news overall, that they weren't alone. The bad news was apparent just as soon, as they were very much alone with a large, atagonistic crustacean.

Moving off to Lapras' side, she doubted they weren't getting out of here without dealing with what looked like a 1,000-year-old Kingler. "Lapras, if you could disorient it with Confuse Ray, please? I'll handle offense." She made it a point not to look towards the disorienting ray of light, not that she'd need to look to aim as she readied a few Aura Spheres to fling at Kingler.

"Artifact?" Amaranth asked, trying to make sense of the chaos as it happened. Thankfully, it wouldn't take her long to see what was meant, noticing the gaping hole exposing the Rock Channeler. And how rocks were quickly trying to plug in that gap, slowed slightly with Pelipper trying to stall the attempt.

Wanting her Dodrio to focus on movement, she'd start running at the channeler and Golem herself and give a sharp whistle. "Swift, to me, we're going in!" Swift would make a sharp turn to come to Amaranth's side instead, side exposed so she could climb on. A slight kick would come as soon as she did to direct the bird to rush back at the golem, leaping at a part of the opening that wasn't littered with floating rocks to go through as Amaranth reached at the artifact.

Though Rookidee was continuing to be as much of a nuisance possible in the meantime, still pecking at the eyes, the floating rocks would make things a little bit rougher and a few feathers would be lost in the process after making the mistep of brushing against them mid-flight.

Thanks to Firebrand and Pistachio most of the Magnet Bombs were destroyed, or the Mini-Noses firing them were, and those that weren't were blocked by Indie's Reflect. As for Probopass it didn't have a chance to reform its Mini-Noses and keep up the assault, Nutmeg grabbing its attention with Teeter Dance for just long enough for that Draco Meteor to send it rocketing off the ground, the giant stony nose creature hitting the ground with a fierce thud, knocked out cold.

The Snagems provided Amaranth just the opportunity to jump into the stone construct's open chest cavity and pounce on the torso of the Rock Channeler, the Flying Channeler grabbing a hold of the mallet artifact that was just floating there in front of the Channeler, its own quickly pulling its arm out of a hole used to control the construct's arm and proceeding to fight with Amaranth over the mallet. On the outside the left arm of the construct fell apart and when the Channeler used her other arm to also pull on the mallet the right arm fell as well. For a brief moment it looked like the Rock Channeler would use what contact she had with the mallet to crush the construct on them both as the rocks began to squeeze inward but that was until a little Rookidee whooped in and saved its trainer by pecking the Rock Channeler in the face, causing her to let go of the mallet.

Them moment Amaranth was able to pull back with the mallet in hand the construct would crumble, the Flying Channeler would have to be quick to escape unharmed. Shortly after the entire thing crumbled into a pile of rubble Sub came swooping down on Pelipper and landed back on the ground, eying the pile of stone with suspicion, wondering if it was actually over. This time however there would be no dramatic twist like they were used to, a Roto-drone simply appearing above the pile with a Claydol, the Clay Doll Pokemon using its telekinesis to move the rocks around and pull the Channeler and Golem out before teleporting her, Golem, and Probopass all away. A Wishing Star would roll across the ground shortly after, stopping at Wren's feet. Furthermore, it looked like they forgot to take the mallet artifact back from Amaranth who was still holding it.

"Phew, that's the last of them." Sub commented as the Rock Channeler was taken away. "We can't stop yet though. In fact we-" Before he could finish three drones came swooping out of the sky and stopped just in front of them, lighting up their beacons, each of them sporting the number 3 on their bodies. "Huh, prizes for defeating that Channeler I suppose. Beau, Terashi, and Wren, you guys take them this time." Sub instructed them, then climbing back onto Pelipper's back. "We're going to go find Team Galar and finish what Blizz and them started." Sub said before taking off on the bird's back, headed towards Motostoke Riverbank.

G-Max Kingler would meet James's gaze as the Tearful Look took affect. followed by a Yawn from Tristen's Eevee which in turn made the Kingler give off a booming yawn himself. Soon after Krysta ordered the Smokescreen which quickly engulfed them all in a thick cloud of smoke which made it difficult for even something this big to see exactly where those inside of it were. Next came a Moonblast flying out of the smoke and smacking it in between the eyes followed up by a bright flash of Confuse Ray which immediately dazzled the giant.

Angered and disoriented by the wild fluctuating sensations it was subjected to the monstrous crab would let out angry cry before it began to charge up a massive amount of bubbles in front of its mouth, the raw energy contained inside of them visible with their bright blue glow. While that charged it executed another Crabhammer, swinging one of its giant claws at the end of its insanely long limb, the Crabhammer coming down upon the cloud of smoke and hitting... (0 = Misses from confusion, 1 = James, 2 = Lapras, 3 = Chansey, 4 = Eevee, 5 = Stunky)

Following up after the Crabhammer the G-Max Kingler would unleash a tremendous, just enormous, spray of bubbles down upon the group in the form of a destruction beam as it executed its G-Max move, Foam Burst. Surely such a massive attack could wipe out several of them, this wasn't good. The bubbles were also strangely sticky and regardless if they avoided the full impact they would find themselves unless to move very quickly, their speed reduced harshly.

However, it was in that moment of charging that Lapras would feel very strange. Cera could feel it to. Her Pokemon was responding to this lake and the Wishing Star held by another of their group. Maybe...?

"T-two attacks!?" Keiko roared defiantly. She would have likely continued to complain if she had time to think, but alas, Kingler wasn't giving her that luxury. "Guess I'll have to take a page out of Terashi's book, then. Stasy, Protect!"

Stasy spread her arms wide, the Chansey funneling Normal-type energy into a protective barrier in front of her. Somehow, she managed to get the ward up just before the G-Max move hit, the foam bubbles sticking to said energy shield, preventing them from coming into contact with Stasy herself.

Glad that her gambit succeeded, Keiko used the adrenaline from that scare to push herself to her feet. If she was going to avoid being removed like William was, she had to protect her Pokemon, or help her Pokemon protect itself, and lying down wasn't going to make that any easier.

~*~

I sighed in relief as the Rock Channeler fell, then patted Indie on her head for a job well done before recalling her. I didn't have much time to relax, though, as some Roto-Drones showed up, all of them #3's. Hearing Sub call my name, I nodded and approached. Knowing who I wanted on my team, I reached one of the Roto-Drones and withdrew Brunor's ball from it. "There. Now, if we have another Channeler to deal with, I can fight back on my own!" I exclaimed, manifesting a psychic blade of Psion Edge in each hand. "And now I have something that can handle Rock-types, too," I added, mentally releasing the Psion Edges, then patting Brunor on the shoulder before recalling him to his ball.

With that, along with an extra dose of confidence that came with the additional team member, I got on my Hoverboard and rode behind Sub, following him to the rest of our teammates and, in the back of my mind, hoping Keiko hadn't been removed from the tournament just yet.

Maybe...?

Ryan didn't even have a chance to react to the incoming Crabhammer. James was going to become a flattened lizard...until Undine leaped forward and shoved him out of the way, taking the full fury of the attack in his stead. It would prove far too much for Ryan's Primarina to endure and she would fall KOed, returning instantly to her ball. All James could do was lie there stunned at the turn of events.

But there was little time to process all of this. Ryan would step in between James and the next attack, throwing up his Lapis Defense to block what he could and channel away any rogue bubbles that tried to push through.

"Get up James! Get up now and fight! Undine did not fall in your place to have you waste it! Stand up I say and let the fires of Alola burn bright within you as well!" Ryan shouts to his Drizzile.

James looked down at his hand and then clinched it tight. His trainer was right. He would raise up to his feet. He had to fight! Not only for Ryan but for Undine as well! He would not let her noble sacrifice be in vain!

Suddenly a bright light would take him and surge with energy. Ryan would catch this out of the corner of his eye and smile. Having fended off as much of the attack as he could, he would fall back to James' side, who now was no longer Drizzile, but Inteleon! Ryan could feel the energy of the Wishing Star on his wrist surge.

"Ready to show them what we got, yeah?" Ryan says with a smirk. James nods as Ryan activates the Wishing Star. "Let's show them our power!" Ryan roars as James returns to his ball and it grows exponentially. Ryan then tosses the massive Pokeball behind him and sends James to grow into his Dynamax form.

Ryan was a bit agape at seeing James towering over him. It sent chills down his spine and he loved it! "Alright James, let him have it! Max Darkness!" Ryan bellows.

James unleashes the powerful terrifying energy that races across the field and engulfs the Kingler and drains away his special defense.

As soon as Amaranth had grabbed the mallet she saw- the artifact she was tasked to yank, apparently- she'd see its owner move to try and prevent it from being taken so easily. Quick thinking would see her take out the small totem artifact she had on her; even if she wasn't in a position to channel with it at the moment, maybe it'd make a punch hit a bit harder and try to slow down the squeeze that was being attempted. This plan would go a little pear-shaped when it was discovered the Rock Channeler could simply use her other hand too, prompting Amaranth to do the same- there wasn't enough time to put her artifact away first before going full force into the tug-of-war.

Though she would eventually manage success in the endeavor once Rookidee swooped in, the crumbling that soon followed offered no chance to catch her breath, let alone Swift's. The small bird would be able to escape fairly easily, but the other two took a little bit longer before managing an escape, though a Drill Peck from her Dodrio certainly helped a bit. Falling off and tumbling a bit following the escape, Amaranth stayed on the ground for a second before getting to her feet, watching the Claydol unearth the channeler underneath before teleporting them all away. She figured they'd take the artifact too and held it out, but instead they... left.

"I... maybe they forgot...?" She asked, confused at such an error. Nothing to it but hold onto the mallet, she guessed. "Er, worry about it later," she said to herself afterward, walking to Swift to get back onto his back. They couldn't afford to stop and sort things out now. As soon as the two took off after Sub, she'd motion for Rookidee to follow as well.

Cera would be more than a little thankful that the giant claw coming down wasn't near her, but the aftershocks from the impact would be felt regardless and seeing the spray of bubbles threatening to engulf them didn't set terribly well with her and was enough to make Lapras consider seeking comfort from the Mew. Both from fear of the attack and the weird feelings she had all of a sudden.

They were something Cera could feel as well, almost as if she and one of the Wishing Stars- Ryan's, it felt like- were resonating. But before she could speak up and try to pull something, a lot happened all at once: A Primarina she didn't notice before taking the gigantic Crabhammer and falling for it. A meager attempt at trying to block and otherwise mitigate the oncoming attack. A Drizzile evolving, and then becoming equally gigantic to attack. And just like that, the resonance felt would dissipate, as would the strange feelings.

And then the bubbles came, the mitigation not proving to be quite enough for them. Lapras would be able to weather through the attack, but even without the increased sluggishness, another such attack would wipe Cera out then and there. Trying to keep her in the fight alongside the others, a spray of water would be charged with Lapras' energy as she spun around to ensure it splashed onto everyone.

Though it wouldn't be a lot, Cera, Lapras and the other Pokemon would find their wounds a little less problematic from the life-giving dew. "Guess... that works too... Lapras, what was that?" She asked, though it seemed like Lapras wasn't totally sure either judging by her confused look.
