The jingling of a bell announced their entrance, and a large body of people let out garbled greetings as the door closed behind them. Fairlee blinked, snow falling around her form as she blankly stared back at the mass of people that were staring at her. Mostly men, the bar was chock full of people, every table and place at the bar full. There was Christmas music playing in the background, but it was so low that she doubted people were actually listening to it. Chatter, bursts of song, and laughter served as the primary soundtrack, something that suited the tavern well.

"Well, at least it's warm..." Lucifer grumbled as he took his place on the girl's shoulder, hunkering down in the wispy shoulder protectors as Fairlee moved forward though the crowd.

For the first time the dark elf seemed a bit uneasy as bodies closed in around her, her nose scrunched at having her personal space invaded. The eyes that trailed in drunken lines up and down her body were nothing compared to the reaching hands she was forced to artfully dodge. One man, slurring and stumbling, made a move to throw an arm around her thin shoulders, but was instantly repelled by a sharp bit from the guardian dragon perched on her shoulder. Grinning at the howls of pain, Fairlee put the catcalls and whistles out of her mind as she made her way to the bar. She looked to the man expectantly, her grin a mile wide.

"What are you making..?" she asked.

"The Christmas special." the barkeep said with a craggy grin. "Want one?"

'Sure!" Fairlee chirped, scooping up the offered drink. Raising the glass in a silent toast, the blue woman brought the glass to her lips and tilted her head back, steadily chugging the beverage. Watchers who started off cheering slowly trailed off to drop jawed, disbelieving expressions as the alcoholic beverage steadily disappeared. Within half a minute Fairlee slammed the mug back on the bar with a laugh. "Ahhhhh.... good stuff! You gotta try this, Fer!"

"No way... and no more for you. You're bad enough when you're not drunk... Lucifer replied in a distracted tone, still on the lookout for personal space invaders.

"Haha! Can I fix ya' another one, lady patron?" the barkeep laughed as he continued fixing drinks.

"I'd better not. It'd probably annoy Lucifer, and you know what happens when Lucifer gets annoyed."

"Er... I do?"

"That's right. You do." Fairlee said with a nod before leaning over the bar to speak in a covert whisper. "By the way, that guy over there promised to pay for anything I need paid..."

"Work, Fair..." Lucifer whispered in her ear.

"Huh..? There are wishes here too..?"

"What do you mean 'huh'?! That's the only reason we came..!!"

"Ooohhhh... right!" Fairlee said with a sweat drop.

Fortunately there was no need to go through the introduction dance; a drunk stumbled up onto a table and held his arms out like a conductor, swaying back and forth in something that could be mistaken as musical. On cue the inhabitants of the bar burst into song and the two newcomers traded a look and a shrug. Glows activating, the two joined in with the marry carol.

"God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay,
Remember Christ our Savior
Was born on Christmas Day;
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray.

Comfort and joy,
O tidings of comfort and joy!
From God our heavenly Father
A blessed angel came;

"Fear not, then," said the angel,

Of a pure virgin bright,

Now to the Lord sing praises,

this holy tide of Christmas

The drunks dissolved into triumphant shouts and laughter as the conductor on the table pitched forward and fell heavily into the staggering embraces of his companions. Fairlee laughed boisterously along with them, planting her hands on her narrow hip and striking a triumphant pose.

"That time we managed 7... that means we're up to 38." Lucifer reported.

"Awesome! That calls for another drink..!' Fairlee sang as the glowing faded.

"No chance! Come on, Fairlee... we still have a long way to go. Back out the way we came!

"Time to shine once again!" Becca whispered to herself as she began to hum. She started to sing the song "Merry Christmas" by N'SYNC. One of her favorite Christmas songs, that was done by N'SYNC. She grinned, bowing as she ran back out.

Naomi started singing "Grandma got Busted For a DUI", which was kind of a spin-off of "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer". Plus, it seemed appropriate in a tavern.
She bowed as she finished, and recalled her total: 26.
