Desmund placed his hand over hers holding it to his cheek "well you have been such a good servant lately, maybe i can reward you properly" he grabbed her chin and tilted her face up towards his and began to move closer

Belle froze. What was he doing? He had never acted like this before. He's probably picking on me. He would do something like that.

(Well mine has a twin. And I get them both!!)

he drew closer and pulled her to him, they were only about an inch away when his lips parted and he let out a soft whisper "watermelon"

"You know what?" Belle whispered. "I figured you'd do something like this. Did you really think I thought you were going to kiss me? You're Desmund. You would never kiss a lowly, what was it you called me, servant like me." She glared up at him.

"no watermelon" he pointed at jenkins who was walking through with a plate of cut up watermelon "didn't even think we had those on hand.....ohwell where were we?" he put his hands on her cheeks and pulled her in for a kiss "I told you i'd reward you, and I stick by my word"

Toni raised a brow and took a piece of watermelon from the platter and bit in to it.

Belle looked at Jenkins. She looked up at Desmund surprised that he hadn't said more. She couldn't even say sorry. She was still waiting for him to push her away. That or makeup an excuse.

he smiled and kissed her softly on the lips, he looked up at the clock and pulled away just before the two minute mark was up and returned to his child form "sorry two minutes is up"

Belle looked down at him and left the room. She was so upset, but she didn't know if it was with him or with herself. She went outside and sat under a tree. This was why she didn't like getting to know people.

Desmund was confused he looked down theh hall then to Toni and shrugged "guess i found where the teen angst was"
