Derp! Sorry I haven't been posting much here lately -- I've been busy. XD
As I mentioned to Roman Foi, Damir IS welcome to join the flock since he passed the level of 'fit' that dragain pretty much told me to go by since she's not really active at soq as much as she used to be. And as LOLTERNATIVE already knows from my asking her a few more clarifying customs, Vanya is a great fit and feels like the sort born to the flock, so is officially a Flock Born Harpy!

Hadyn Star has no plots at the moment so he is pretty much an open canvas in regards to future plots. How did he end up being captured?: The idea I was having is that he could have followed Vanya freely. He does not know what she is and is intrigued. He will not fight to free himself as he values his serene nature. Will you be escaping later? If yes, how?: I don't think Hadyn will escape. RP # 1 The Capture.
Recovery will get captured by Vanya who wants to bring him back as a gift for Gala. Recovery wont like that one little bitty bit after realizes hes been taken captive but its not in him to disobey or harm a lady who clearly means him no harm. so he will be the picture of an excellent captive stallion enjoying pleasing the ladies in every way he can all save one (the uh baby making one that he will refuse because he has a current mate that he is very faithful to that he will refuse respectfully im told gala will only use him for warming her nest anyway) of course it helps that that they are super beautiful. he is his father son after all.
Isolean who sends her familiar to check on her family every so often will hear that her father has been taken and alert her grand mother Thesh-ah.
Will you be escaping later? If yes, how?:
yes he will he will only be captive about two to three weeks at the most
RP# 2
Thesh-ah will travel to the harpy lands with Isolean to get recovery back. Isolean and Recovery will both be expecting a fight when they arrive to reclaim him. however instead Thesh-ah will calmly and respectfully address her sons captors and explain that he is her only offspring adopted or not and that if it wouldn't be to much trouble that he is needed at home.
I would like if they released him because of that and spoke with Thesh-ah offering her friendship for her level headed way of handling things. She was from a female dominate heard (not quite a master pet situation like the harpies but females were the higher up) and while she may not agree with everything the harpies do she does respect them for the structure and harmony among the ranks that they have achieved.
Perhaps even a alliance of sorts could be struck as when thesh-ah does reach elder hood she will be starting her own heard and i would like her to build more ties with more herds.
if possible recovery would like to remain on decent terms with the sisters as well.

yes
and while the Soquilli involved may not agree with all the practices all will remain respectful and non judgmental while in their territory.

I've unfortunately discussed such things with Dragain before (One time actually asking if mothers could negotiate a visit with their children) and I was told that they'd be respectfully told to buzz off by Current Queen Aviania and that they'd kill the sons should they return and attempt it again, but insure them they'd be unharmed as long as the family left the flock alone.
Once a stallion is an adult, in Harpies eyes he is no longer under the possession of the mother and thus free game. (They do not foal-nap for this reason, except on the rare occasions where the foals are in dangerous situations with an abusive father or seem to be abandoned.)
And as current flock leader, she has no desire for alliances outside of the flock/flock run families itself, since the cross of cultures could endanger the old way of life, which would be devastating having lost so many of their people in the earthquakes and the culture already starting to waver with the newest generations. The idea of an alliance with the flock is pretty much doomed as long as Aviania is leader.
HOWEVER! Hope is not lost for the plot idea completely!
The fact that he has a mate would work in his favor: He's another mares property, and harpies respect 'ownership', even if its that of an outsider of a different culture. Heck, any mention of his lifemate, without her even arriving, would likely result in him getting kicked out of the flock without any harm to his person and they'd just keep him out of their territory.
Harpies are truly respectful to outsiders lifemating practices, even if they themselves find it taboo -- Keeping a lifemate against the will of their mare is a bad thing in the eyes of the spirits, since it can spark much more strife with a lover and children to care for. Their being missing is much easier spotted than a wandering single stallion leaving the family for long periods of time in the age of wanderlust.
So you're stallion could get an easy escape, but as I've told a few other people, according to Dragain, interest in alliances with anything not "The Flock" Related is not really something Aviania really has. They'd let the females travel through their territory (but not necessarily the nesting area) safely and unbothered, but trade and friendship with other herds is currently a big "no".
This may change should Aviania ever step down and retire, depending on which commander ends up taking over, so keep your eyes open! Perhaps if things change hands, Thesh-ah could try again with an alliance concept?
I cant say when/if it'll happen, since I'm not Dragain, nor either of the commanders -- I'm just the person who asks a ton of questions and thus knows a lot of the answers of what does and doesn't 'fit' because of it, and the one apparently quickest to answer.
HOWEVER, Your boy can still join and have the plot of his lifemate coming in WITH the mother and TRYING to strike an alliance. I doubt they'd piss the harpies off since its the lifemate taking it, but they might get scolded for not keeping better watch on their stallions. XD

In other, less official news.... I want flock RP! D8 So bad! I have a couple mares without any rp under their belts, and then of course my two stallions. Plus, while being free spirited, he's also a push over and wouldn't put up a fight if a harpy were to get him in to her sights. It would be totally out of his normality to be in the situation that being in The Flock would put him in, and I think it would make for some fun RP :3 How did he end up being captured?: Vanya will be capturing him. The rest of the plot idea was golden, since it could have been a case of "The mother come and try to get her son freed with the lifemate and failed and been chased out and his lifemate came and pleaded to have her lifemate freed (At which point they'd accept "oh hey, he's already claimed property. Just keep him out of our territory from now on") "
And it could still be a good 'failure' spot for your mare to grow from, rounding her out and giving her something she can react to as a negative.
Elders aren't supposed to be all success and winning, there's got to be bumps in the road after all in order to make them greater. Does she grow resentful of the Flock and become an enemy? Does she remain accepting of their culture and presence and hopes to try again in the future when aggression isn't high?
But it seems Recovery is leaving your ownership soon for some reason, so perhaps in the future something else might happen with another mares lifemate (not necessarily even a stallion owned by you, it could be someone else you Rp with's stallion and mate. o3o) under Thesh-ah's protection?

Okay so I've mentioned this to Mind a few times, but everytime I do it's always when she's offline so I'll post it here and see if the idea will generate enough interest to actually be plausible.
I proposed to Mind the idea of a dance contest among the females who wish to enter. Prizes would be given out and the winner would be able to declare herself the best dancer in the flock.
On top of this, the males will entertain the females in between dances. Sort of like a pageant in which they show off notable skills in hopes of attracting a female to mate with.
THIS IS JUST THE BASIC IDEA. If you have input, feel free to lemme know. o vo

Sorry about beig late with this.
I mostly dropped the idea because I had just found out I was looseing co ownership (no real reason she just wants him back and I don't want to loose a freind and a soquilli so I'm not argueing) other wise I would have been more than willing to rework the idea.
Oh well maybe one day i will Come up with something that will finally get my involved in this most epic of ideas.
