[✠]Samuru arched an eyebrow as the giant proceeded to do exactly what Samuru would have done, had he been in the same place. As it was, the giant clearly didn't need his help and so Samuru opened the door "I will see you there then. I'll find this....Zangai and whatever a train is." he replied walking out. After a moment of finding the right exit, Samuru left the hospital.

A shirtless young Hattori came carrying his younger sister to the doors of the hospital and with a firmly placed kick he forced the doorway open where the last person through had left it ajar. Entering, the shinobi took a look to the charge nurses and shook his head and walked by registration.
"Hatsu Yuki Hattori, Kumogakure Genin, Training Accident, she's cut from hip to shoulder. Basic packing done to staunch bloodloss, need care, now." He told the Registrations Nurse before laying her onto a prepared bed that two others rolled out.
"We'll talk when you're recovered, Hatsu. But not until then. And do not worry, the people here will not harm you unless it's to heal you. I'll see you at the Dragon when you're better." He said with a nod before exiting and making his way for the Blue Dragon.
His sapphire eyes seemed to gleam ever more brightly as usual as Seiji carried the reckless Hattori over to the Azure Angel. There was an odd feeling about this, one that Hatsu had not felt in the times of past. It felt.......warm.
Rushing into the hospital Seiji registered the injured Hatsu, handing her over to the nurses before telling her to come over to the Blue Dragon afterwards and heading off. Hatsu made sure they kept Seiji's kimono before they operated on her, as she wanted to return it to him later. Spending the rest of the day in the hospital, Hatsu rested and looked forward to when she would get to see her half-brother again.
An ANBU, told by the wolf mask he wore, arrived at the hospital. After asking for the location of a shinobi, he arrived in the room Hatsu was being kept. Looking around briefly, he approached Hatsu and held out a letter. "Message for you." Once she took the letter, the ANBU left.
The letter stated:
Due to a recent purchase made by someone in Kumogakure, Takumi's supplies have run out. Since we are at fault, I am sending groups of shinobi to the mountains surrounding the village to collect ore that will be taken to Takumi. Once you are feeling well enough to participate, your missions are as follows:

Wanryoku, Myurai, Samuru, and one or two other genin will be accompanying you. Wanryoku is in charge of this mission, since he knows the location. You will be expected back seven days after you arrive at the mountain. Genin may not leave the village without jounin accompanying them. Wait at the gates for Wanryoku, so that he can show you the location. Take it easy. I would hate to see your wound worsened.
Hatsu, who had just woken up from a long sleep, received a call from the nurse, who said she had a visitor, an ANBU ninja. Wondering what an ANBU would want with her, she told the nurse to let them in. Upon entering, the ninja handed the injured girl a letter and promptly left. Hatsu opened the letter and scanned it over. Her body aching she decided to get some more sleep.
Waking up a good 3 or so hours later, Hatsu asked for a nurse to help redress her wound before she left. She was still injured, but there was also the important mission the ANBU had left her with. Getting packed back up, the Hattori child returned home to get a few things ready and change into something less sliced and diced before setting off to meet the others at the gate.
[✠]The Anbu arriving with an unconscious shinobi between was enough to garner some serious attention from a doctor and several nurses. A gurney was pulled and Samuru felt himself deposited on the colder metal, shifting as bruises complained "...nmmh..." he tried to roll and hands stopped him, a nurse quickly using the opportunity to get the heavy jacket off of him as they pushed him into an exam room. Running a diagnostic jutsu, the doctor found no broken bones, no cracked ribs or punctured lungs He did have a dislocated left shoulder where the falling stone had struck him and a nasty hairline fracture that bled slowly from just below his hair "He got lucky." the doctor mused, running his hands across the cut to check the skull. It looked like he had the barest crack across the bone and blood was bleeding into that which wasn't doing him any good "We'll seal the bone then give him some paper stitches. Monitor him for a concussion for a few hours. Do a second check on that side." he ordered, motioning to a darkening beneath Samuru's shirt. He walked out to wait for the inevitable arrival of the Kage as one of the nurses lifted Samuru's arm to remove the shirt. The bruise was a glowing dark red/purple where the majority of the falling rocks had struck "...ow...""I bet." a nurse agreed, grabbing a numbing salve to rub gently over the injuring then wrapped it, helping Samuru to sit up, head between his knees. His tattoo was standing out brilliant white in places the bruising was rising and his upper shirt was pulled off to deal with the dislocated shoulder.[✠]

-----ι wound up jogging most of the way to the hospital--shunshin felt like cheating to get anywhere; it was meant as an escape, not a method of transportation. Either way, I paused to catch my breath upon arrival before making my way inside. -----I ignored the eyes turned on me to the best of my ability. I didn't like the attention, but I didn't really have a choice on that anymore. Stopping in front of the lobby desk, getting the nurse's attention wasn't particularly difficult. She stared at me with slightly wide eyes, as if confused as to why I was there. I frowned slightly. "I was told Samuru Sanmiitai was brought here." -----She nodded slowly, blinked finally, and nodded faster before pushing herself to her feet. "Of course. He's still being examined, but I'll show you the way." She led the way down the hall with me following doggedly behind. -----I didn't like the smell of the hospital. It was too clean, too sterile. I guessed that was the point, but it was kind of unsettling. Maybe it was done on purpose, so people wouldn't want to stick around? That was another thing I tried to ignore as I followed the nurse down a couple of hallways to an examination room. I spotted Samuru as soon as she opened the door. Stepping around her, I shoved my hands in my pockets and headed inside. Glancing over my shoulder to see if the desk clerk was gone, I paused a few feet off and leaned against the wall, watching the nurse that was present. It was to Samuru--who was conscious now apparently--that I spoke, though. "Damn. Maybe I should send hardhats with everyone." I shot a crooked grin his direction, showing I was joking. Sort of. If he was going to be accident prone, he might actually need it.

[✠]Samuru looked at Kaileer from under his hair, the nurse carefully settling bandages across his bruised shoulders. The dislocated shoulder was swollen and the nurse was putting medical tape on the skin to keep the muscles from overworking "..." brilliant blue eyes, like lightning striking on a cloudless sky, stared at Kaileer with such intensity and emotion...it was like looking at a different person. There was pain there, both from the physical injuries, but also a kind of shock and disbelief "Kai....leer?" he said hesitantly before straightening up as the nurse tapped him gently to say she had finished "Ah...thank y-" but the nurse had simply walked off, giving Kaileer a bow. Samuru swallowed and leaned back gently, one foot rising up as he continued to examine Kaileer with that intense emotion.[✠]

No such a vibrant blue I couldn't react to it. There was something in that blue that I couldn't describe. Not a lack of recognition, but... confusion, maybe? It was hard to say. I could read people fairly well, but this time I was stumped. -----What's more, Samuru thanked someone. -----He must have hit his head pretty hard. -----After a moment I managed to drag my gaze away. I pulled my hands from my pockets and crossed my arms instead, tilting my head slightly as I looked him over. Bruising, a blood streak from under his hair, and a bandaged shoulder. This was some accident, but I suppose it could have been worse. "Glad to see you're awake. I got worried when I heard you were hurt." I glanced off to the side with some form of embarrassment, rubbing the back of my neck, but looked back at Samuru from the corner of my eye.

Turning a light shade of pink, he accepted the pill and drunk it down before handing the glass back "..." he continued to just look at Kaileer as if trying to decide if he was actually....something. His head dropped just slightly, hair falling to the side "You're...real? Actually here..." he asked, his expression going from confused to strangely excited. What was truly weird was that he appeared to be showing a range of emotions that weren't...normal for him. Slumping slightly, he appeared exhausted "...why?" he mumbled, staring at Kaileer still. He was feeling...drowsy now. And it showed as he tried to sit up again and failed.[✠]

I was purely because of his strange behavior. It was so... not Samuru, I wasn't sure how to handle it. "Of course I'm real." Why wouldn't I be? A myriad of emotions ranging from sadness to joy flickered across the older jounin's expression so fast that they were impossible to read. I stayed silent for a long moment, and then sighed, walking over to a chair to the side. Slumping into it, I rested my head on a hand. When was the last time I'd even sat down? I'd been so busy I hadn't had a chance to even think about taking a rest. I threw Samuru another small grin. "Get some sleep. You need it."

[✠]"No....if I sleep, he...wins..." Samuru mumbled, slumping despite himself. The pain killer had a mild sedative in it and it would knock him out for about a half hour. But he was fighting it, shifting and trying roll over "...don't...sleep." he mumbled, rubbing at his eyes as he crumpled slightly on the bed "...cripple..." he tried to stand but only managed to fall further onto the bed "...am....cripple....dhn..." his head slumped onto his chest, still fighting the sedative "Kaileer....Kai..." Samuru tried again, blue eyes brightening for a moment's intensity as he rolled onto his side, trying to grab...something "....listen to...me." he could feel the sedative overwhelming him and something else, something that made his bright blue eyes start to dull as Samuru tried to get Kaileer's attention "Please....my only...only friend."[✠]

-----ι sat up straighter at that. Samuru's words were so broken up, they were hard to understand. He wins? Who was 'he'? The only other thing I could think that Samuru had any attachment to was the Nibi sealed inside of him. But I didn't think they were on bad terms with one another. Something about being crippled. Sure, he was right now, but that would heal. -----I focused on him instead of just what he was saying when I heard my name. And I noticed his eyes again. But the brilliant blue was fading away. How? Why? I stood back up quickly and moved closer. To hear Samuru actually call me his friend... There was something wrong. The Samuru I knew had never admitted any sort of acceptance of my friendship. "What is it? What's wrong?" The sedative he was given was kicking in too fast. I wasn't sure I was going to get anything else out of him.

[✠]Samuru reached out as Kaileer came closer, one hand fumbling to grab at the other male's shirt, fingers digging into the cloth. He was nearly hanging off the side of the bed now, his desperation at getting what he needed to say across driving him "..cr...ipple...." but the blue was nearly gone now, a dirty blue that wasn't much more than brown. Not quite red yet though and his limbs trembled as he held back something "...ame....less...." his hand slid down the shirt but his eyes flashed with the strongest emotion he'd shown yet; regret. It was painful and brutal regret that spoke of so much left unsaid that should have been "...am cr...ipple..." the nurse came in then and gave a shocked gasp before rushing over to push Samuru back on the bed, lifting him up and back onto the pillows "h...elp..." The nurse turned a scolding glare on Kaileer but behind her back, Samuru's eyes flashed blue one last time "na...me...l...ss..." he tried once more but the blue faded entirely and in their place rushed a cold rage that filled the brown with red flecks once more. Then the sedative hit hard and his eyes shut as he slumped down, a soft snore starting lightly. The nurse pulled a blanket up to his chest and turned to glare at Kaileer "Honestly, Kage! I know Samuru isn't the nicest but you shouldn't push him. He'll be awake again in 20-30 minutes." she shook her head, walking off with her hands on her hips.[✠]
