Mm... not so. The levels of Cosmos was labeled in two or three steps.
To even become a saint, one must be able to feel their cosmos and utilize it. To become a Silver, I imagine would just have to refine it. Finally, to become a gold saint, one must access their seventh sense and then refine it further to increase one's cosmos.
I'd just have to think of the right levels and then think up the proper training. See what the five main bronze saints had to go through.
I also have to think up a story line and reason for conflict so we can have some fights break out instead of just nothing.

There's a sequal/prequel that's ongoing for Saint Seiya and the Knights of the Zodiac! And Shun is in it despite it being set in the past! Yaaaayyyyy!!!  *clouds part, the Erasure song plays as the Robot Unicorn comes down from the heavens, which I ride on away to bliss, happiness and dolphins*  Yeeeeeeeaaahhhhh!
