Have I tried watching a book? No. And just because it was a book does not make it any better. And I tried watching it but found it dull.

@Eldritch Abomination: I don't actually watch television, per se. I selectively watch what interests me or what I can make fun of via Netflix and Hulu. And I have free range to say what I want about whatever I want, regardless of originality. I don't mind it being unoriginal, because plot is only a small part of a story. I find the entire of idea of it uninteresting. I'm tired of vampires in general. It seems like the whole of television sees fit to use and abuse something that was genuinely good and turn it into a pop-culture piece of trash.
