 "Yes, you make me uncomfortable. I always get the feeling there is more to you than you are letting on. Kind of like Kane. So full of secrets that no one else should know. That's what makes me uncomfortable." She had no idea why she said all that, but she did and she couldn't take it back.

Neuro looked at her,"Would you like to know then."He held out his hand,"All you need to is ask and I will show you and that feeling with Kane will never end."

Nike looked at his hand like it would bite her, but her hand moved to his, hesitating a moment before she clasped it. She looked at Neuro nervously. "What are you going to do?"

Neuro smiled,"What do you want to know and I'll be taking us somewhere private I guess you can call it that."He let his black mist surround them and take them to The Whisperer's home, he still held Nike's hand and looked at the door standing in the middle of the living room,"We'll go in there."

Nike followed him swallowing hard. She wasn't afraid but she really hated the unknown. Hated it so much, she didn't let go of Neuro's hand, like taking comfort from a tiger.

Nike looked at Neuro as if he had grown a second head. Confronted by a chance to have answers and she couldn't think of a single one. Finally, "Why are you here, really? I don't think a demon like you would be here just for his daughter. I think you have to have more than one reason to do anything." She stared at him waiting.

Neuro noticed how she acted and grew annoyed,"I won't do anything to you Nike trust me on that."He looked around,"I feel better in this place that is why I brought you here, any more questions about me or my family."

Nike laughed softly. "I'm not worried about that," she said. she looked at Neuro, her eyes hardening. "I worried about what reasons you have to be so solicitous." She thought a moment and, "What is Soli's role in all this and why do the Demonkin interest themselves on this plane? How is Kane involved?" Now that she had gathered her wits, she would have answers.

 Hana woke up in Brago's bed. She was confused and her head hurt. She slowly sat up and tried to figure out what happened until she smelled other women in the masion, and one of them she didn't like to much. She made a hissing noise and barred her fangs.
