The Machine [Open/Accepting]

Damien nodded, then turned to their prisoner. "So, I'm giving you one chance to tell us everything you know. If you don't, we'll force it out of you" Damien said to him. Damien decided to give a fair warning.

"I don't know anything. I don't even know why I'm here!" The man yelled desperately.

"Shall I?" Jian asked.

"If you feel like it" Damien said, nonchalantly. He passed the stage over to Jian.

((I thought Damien was asking the questions and Jian was doing the torture.))

Jian punched the man in the face. "Did that jog your memory a bit?" He asked.

"I... I still don't know what you're talking about!" He replied.

"Wrong answer." Jian snapped, whacking him over the side of the head with the crop.

((They can take turns or whatever. Damien's just letting Jian do the physical interrogation at the moment.))


"So, any information yet? Or does the Chief General need to beat it all out of you?" Damien asked, tapping a finger on the side of his head pensively while holding his elbow with his other white gloved hand.

((Fair enough.))

"I don't know anything! Honest!" He replied.

"By the way, have you seen Miss Ravenstone?" He asked.

"She called in sick." He replied.

"I'd be inclined to believe you, but you see, she never called this morning. In fact, we were told she took a train." Jian said, whipping him in the face again.

"T-those bastards..." He muttered.

"Which bastards?" Jian asked.

"I-I'm not a squealer like they are." He replied.

"Is that right?" Jian asked.

"Oh, but the thing is, we want you to squeal. We want you to tell us everything you know about 'Red' and why there seems to be some conspiracy against the Chief General and I" Damien ordered.

"You know as well as I that it's just an organization that you approved of to help this country run smoother."

"I think that you know as well as I that your little group has become a little more then just that." Jian mocked.

"If you two know so much, then why bother questioning me?!" He demanded.

"Because we want to make sure we know everything, including whatever happened to dear Ms. Ravenstone. You see, not only is she an integral part of the system, but she's also a good friend of ours, so if something has happened to her, well, upset is what you'll wish we were" Damien said, then looked to Jian. "I don't know if this is working. We might need something stronger to coerce our friend here"

"I agree." Jian smiled, picking up a gun. "Hmm... too quick." He put the gun down and picked up a wrench. "Hmm... nah." Jian said before picking up a syringe filled with a strange liquid. "Oh yes. I think this will work just fine. Do you know what this is?"

"A shot?"

"It's a poison that inflames the nerves. Assuming we did administer an antidote, it would take hours before they calmed down." Jian smiled.

"So, have you decided to talk yet?" Damien asked. "You'll make it much easier on yourself if you do." He looked at the needle, then back to their prisoner. "It's your choice."

"Believe me, they won't appreciate such a sacrifice." Jian told him.

"... fine." He muttered. "There was an attempt to take over the government. The only reason people follow you is because you're good at strategies and making speeches, but now there is peace. We don't need you and your little puppet anymore. You're nothing but sponges!"

"... you want to do the honors, or shall I?" Jian asked, obviously livid as he lifted the syringe.

"I'm sorry. You don't think I'm a good leader during peacetime? Well, you know who your fairweather friends are" Damien replied. He then looked at Jian. "You can" the Absolute Leader replied, "I think he insulted you more."

Jian nodded and walked over to the man with a syringe.

"W-wait! No! D-don't!" He called out as Jian injected it into his neck. Almost immediately, he began to scream.

"We prefer not to be insulted. Now, if you apologize, especially to the Chief General, and tell us a little more, then you can have the antidote. It won't start working right away, but you won't die" Damien said to the man.
