The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"N-never A-a-AHHHHH!!!" He screamed.

Jian winced at his screams but said nothing, waiting patiently for the man to stop. Instead, the man just passed out from the pain.

"Well, we got a little info, but I guess we have to move on to the next person. It's a shame, really. Had he told, I would have given the antidote, and he probably would have been spared execution. However, I guess he'll have to go out like this" Damien said.

Jian nodded in agreement. "Well, I suppose it always gives the next one an opportunity to redeem himself, even if they keep throwing their lives away like this."

Damien nodded. He ordered a couple soldiers to dispose of the body and to shoot it in the head to make sure the guy was dead. He then left the interrogation room and headed to another one, ordering for another of their prisoners to be brought there.

Jian waited patiently as the prisoner was dragged out and another dragged in fighting. Jian said nothing and waited patiently as the man was strapped down.

"Alright. Take 2. Let's see if we can get better results this time" Damien said, looking down at their new prisoner. "So, how shall we start?"

Jian nodded to Damien as if giving him first dibs.

"Sir." The soldiers saluted as soon as the man was strapped down.

Damien nodded and dismissed them so that he and the Chief General could do their interrogation in private. He then turned to their prisoner. "Well, we already tried this with one guy, but he didn't seem to want to cooperate. He's dead now. Surely you'll be different. Now, we'd like to know some information and you are going to give it to us" he explained.

"Never!" The man yelled.

"... I hope they're not all going to be like this." Jian whispered to Damien.

"Yes, it is getting rather annoying" Damien replied back. He looked at their prisoner again. "I guess we're not being forceful enough. I think this time we should do levels of interrogation. Currently this is level 0. You can simply tell us what we want to know and that's it, if not, we start using methods of force to get it out of you" Damien explained to their prisoner.

"I'm not talking." He replied.

"Fair enough." Jian replied. "I guess it's time to go up a level."

Damien nodded. "Indeed. Time for level 1 interrogation. You may proceed to start beating him whenever you feel like it, Chief General" he said.

Jian nodded before proceeding to beat the man. "Are you willing to talk?" Jian asked.

"What do you want?" He asked, gasping for breath.

"Oh, just an explanation on this whole 'trying to take over the government' thing, who's in on it, what's going on. Oh, yeah. And where Ms. Ravenstone is. That's an important part" Damien said. "Is that clear enough for you?"

"Alright... We were planning on killing you, but we didn't know when. So when we heard you were gone and about the assassins, we decided to go with the plan and just kill you when you got here. But you didn't send notice of your return, so you caught us off guard before we could set things fully into motion." He replied.

"And Miss Ravenstone?" Jian asked.

"I heard she was snooping about, but I don't know anything else about her. William said he would take care of it." He replied.
