Andrea turned hearing Sam call her. She listened though wasn't sure how to respond to her questions. "I guess?" She honestly thought they knew they liked each other. She watched as the house was put back as it had originally been. She wanted to be alone though wouldn't show it to the others. She wasn't sure how she could adjust to not being on her own anymore. "I'm going to get the horses ready. I'm sure Jack will make a good breakfast, you should go enjoy it." She said after a moment, then headed to where the horses were once more. She liked the fact that they didn't try talking to her all the time but just knew what action to take on instinct.

He watched Sam try to engage with Andrea and sighed as the girl walked off once more. He went to Sam after a bit looking towards her. "Congrats on you and Jack. He's a goof, but a good man none the less." He smiled towards her. "Don't worry about Andrea, she'll warm back to us in time."

Sam nodded to Drake. "Thanks, Drake. I really do adore that man. Ever since he saved me that day..." He watched Andrea walk off to the stables. "You think she'll ever feel like she's one of us again? I'm worried about her state of mind, Drake. I can't begin to imagine what must have happened over in that other world. It must have been so terrible." She then looked to Drake with an idea. "Drake? What was it like there? You were there for a whole day here, but like a month there? It's still confusing, but I think I get it. What was it like? What did you go through?"

"Well, the people there are rough. Take the best and worst with no middle ground of humans in dark times and that's the basic people structure. I was traveling mostly but did take note that everyone looked relatively the same, dark hair, dark eyes and dark clothing. It smelled like brimstone and even the sun seemed to have faded in the fogs." He looked to Sam then towards where Andrea had gone. "She has silver hair. I heard a rumor a couple nights in one village I had been tracking her. They made rough and brief comments about 'special' or 'different' people. Apparently they're more noticeable and sought after. I don't know what she went through, but I can see why she had died her hair." He looked back to Sam again and shrugged. "I don't know that she'll ever come back to us. Not like she was. It's like something's died inside her but not at the same time. whatever it is, she was on a battlefield at war when I found her and it didn't seem she wanted to leave."

Sam looked at Drake with a look of horror on her face. "You got to be kidding me! How can anyone be so cruel? It's not right!" She shuddered. "Drake? Was there anything that you could tell that Andrea might have liked over there? I want to do something for her. I know she feels like an outsider to this world now. I want to help make this world feel like home to her. So is there anything from that world you think would make her happy?"

He shrugged looking to Sam. "I don't know what would make her happy. I don't know what kept her going over there. I do know she almost gave me a third degree when she realized I was trying to get her and Locke to be more sociable. I thought those two together would relax her, but it failed miserably." He took note of Andrea back with the horses but leaving everyone be to what they were doing. "I don't know that was can get her back. Just please don't push too hard. I don't know if she'll snap or anything."

Sam reluctantly nodded. She decided it was best to leave things be for now. She missed the soft innocence that Andrea had before she left. She hoped to meet her like that one day again.

Locke and Jack had been preparing food all morning, and felt it was time to get everyone ready. "Alright, everyone! Come get it. We got plenty. But remember to keep an appetite for the dinner tonight." He knew that if they didn't mind their manners tonight, that something would happen that might get them into hot water. He had no intention tonight in pissing off one of the high lords.

Drake turned hearing the call of food and happily went over to get some. While the palace food was good, Jack's talent for cooking was still better. He watched them all glad to have them as friends despite all the things that were going on around them.

She heard the call for food and looked over. She decided she might as well and went to join the others getting some from Jack and finding a spot to sit. She looked about the woods around them knowing the others were still there watching them, though it didn't bother her so long as they left them alone.

Everyone was quiet during their meal. Mostly because they were all a little curious about what would happen that night with the Mystic King. All of them had heard stories, but they were just rumors. What really went on there was basely unknown to them. "Drake, what can we expect tonight? I think it would help if we all knew how to act and address the situation. Don't you?"

He ate with the others noting the silence till it was broken by Locke. He was glad to see him getting back to his old self now that Andrea was back. "Well, for the most part everything should be fine. I mean it was only an invitation for dinner. That usually means just that. May be more on my end, but that is cause I know more of his world then others. As far as you all are concerned, just act in your best formal behavior and we'll have no trouble." He really hoped that was all it was but knew the king had questions for him.

She listened to Drake as he spoke about the event they were going to and wondered. She knew he had done something to get the help he did, she was sure the king wanted information on that. She wondered though since her involvement if she would be summoned like Drake for more then dinner. She kept her mind open just in case not wishing to be caught off guard.

Jack and Sam nodded in agreement, feeling they had no problems with the king, so felt they were safe from harm. "Well, love. Just don't act your usual clumsy self, and we'll be fine." She kissed him, and went back to her meal.

Jack laughed a little, and returned her kiss. "But I thought you liked how I act?" They all had a good laugh.

Locke, however, felt that his presence was also more involved than just dinner. After all, escaping from the Order, and almost committing a taboo were not something that would go unnoticed.

She ate till her plate was clean then got ready with the others as it was tie to travel once more. She watched the area ad Drake lead the way. She took note of the ones that had been following leaving after a time so it was once more their little group. "Seems our detail has finally left us alone."

"Yeah, the king always sends out a little scouting party when others are expected. His way of making sure their travels are uninterrupted till we get close enough." He had ridden a good half of the day with them but would stop as the woods opened up showing a large wall and gate. "Well, we're here."

Everyone got their stuff together after their meal. After everyone had exited the building and the horses were clear of the stables, Locke deconstructed the building, leaving nothing but a mound of rubble. "Well, if we ever come back this way again, we can always use this rubble to camp again." They all got onto their horses, and began the trip to their destination.

As they approached the gates of the palace, Sam drew closer to Jack, scared of it's overwhelming appearance. "Jack... I don't like this place... Stay close to me?"

"I agree, Sam. Let's get this over with." He got close to Sam in hopes of calming both hers and his nerves...

He took note of the others but continued on knowing well where they were going to and where their horses and such would stay. Once past the main gate guards he lead the group through the city leading up to the castle. He had to admit he had missed this town and that castle. Once at the stables just outside the castle he turned towards a gentleman in a regal outfit followed by a few others and four guards. "Here we go." He muttered under his breath.

"Ah, Lord Drake and guests. Pleasure to meet you all. I am Nillis, these fine gentlemen and guards beside me will escort you all within the palace and to the hall of your rooms. Please come with me." He waited patiently as the men gathered the bags and such for each of the group before turning and heading to enter the castle. Along the walk he would continue. "As our King's guests you will be allowed roam over the castle, save for the dungeon areas and private areas of course. Ah here we are." He stopped in one hallway after several stairs. "Here are the rooms. Each has been made up for you all, and has plenty of room within for anything you may need. Dinner with the King Tonight and tomorrow will be at the same time. The listings and itinerary are within your rooms. Please relax until then." He then would wait watching the men entering rooms to put the groups things in before looking to Drake. "Lord Drake, he is expecting you at your earliest convenience in the study hall." He then left as the men exited the rooms, as well as the guards leaving the group to themselves.

She looked about the halls and such after the little man had brought them within the castle. The guards didn't bother her knowing some form of security and protocol was needed in these matters. After all they were strangers to this king and his homelands. She looked to the man taking her things though and glared at him not really liking that idea. She looked about the halls and stairs they traveled making a note of what places were and where they were possibly leading. Once everyone stopped she took note of the room her things were put within then waited patiently until the man left the group before moving to the room. She looked within seeing it was large enough for a group of people alone. She sighed once within looking to the bag that Drake had given her with the formal clothing. She never was a fan of playing dress up unless she were on a mission. She took the dress from the bag and walked to a mirror holding it up to herself. It was a simple pale blue dress with silver lining. It was pretty but she still didn't feel right. She figured it was the dust and such from the traveling and her hair all tossed up in an unorganized mess. She moved putting the dress back on the bed before moving to the washroom within her room.

Sam approached one of the guards, wondering if it were possible to share a room with Jack, but she was a little scared, so she just went inside of her assigned room. She took out the outfit that Drake had acquired for her, a lavender one piece with pair of gloves that went up to her elbows, and felt the need to go clean up before trying it on.

Jack looked around the room that he was assigned, and felt unnerved. It was so plain, and showed no signs of life within. "Well this is a fine thing. Maybe I should ask for a kitchen to help pass the time..." Jack decided it would be best to get changed into his formal attire. He pulled out the Slacks and dress shirt, both blue with violet embellishments, and laid them out.

Locke, feeling really nervous about this dinner they were all summoned to, felt that it would be best to get changed. He went to his formal attire he had already laid out on the couch inside the room. It almost looked like a military uniform. Black and white with a handsome overcoat. He looked it over, and decided it was missing something. He went over to his own belongings, and pulled out a small pendant with an engraved Grand Arcanum on it. "Glad I kept hold of this... Just what I need. Just in case."

She had finished cleaning up and wrapped a towel around her and her hair as she went back to the main area of her room. She stood in front of the dress laid out before her on the bed and ran a finger over it. She still didn't like formal wear. She sighed turning towards a vanity area and looked over what was available to her before undoing her hair from the towel and beginning to comb and dry it out. She paused a bit closing her eyes before turning and heading to her bag pulling out the small doll she always carried, then placed it on the top of the vanity. She began combing her hair out once more looking to it, then the mirror at her reflection. She sighed once more before gathering the dress and changing into it. Once finished she would put on the Jewelry Drake had gotten to go with the attire and looked to herself in the mirror. A memory going through her mind. She turned holding the doll once more before starting to cry.

Drake got himself ready fairly quickly. Once in his formal wear he would let the group be but stop at Jack's door and calling through it. "If you and Sam want to share a room, I'm sure it will be fine." He then headed off knowing the King was expecting him early. He rounded halls and stairs as he had done many times in his youth before finally reaching the study hall. He looked to the king before him and kneeled. "Majesty."
