JoyRose BogardAndy Andy had Maui by the collar, and Raditz had 88 under his arms with his tail holding 88 in place so she would not get away. And to the chapel on the 100th floor they flew and once there, Andy tied 88 down so she would not escape and try to run. He said to Maui, "Make sure she does not leave. I am going to be getting everyone else." Trixi pounced on 88 with glee. "You here for the wedding, too! Gonna be very pretty!" she assured the android, pointing out her own spectacular gown in particular delight.
"Careful Trixi. This one is unpredictable. You can never really tell what she is thinking. I've known her for years and I still can't figure her out."
The android scoffed. "Don't be so full of yourself. You don't know anything at all."
"Why do you always have to be like this?" Maui barked. "Why are you always so cold and distant? No matter how close I try to get, I'm always met with coldness and insults. Yet you care enough about me to worry about me once I'd departed the cadets? What is up with you?"
The android looks away and ignores the questions. "See Trixi? It's so frustrating trying to deal with this one. I just have no idea what is going through her head. If you have any ideas, please enlighten me." |

Holding Jinxi by the hand, Rock headed to the staff only elevator and took that to the chapel floor. He said to Jinxi, "When mom gives the word, then we enter through these doors together. Oh, and where is Trixi at a time like this? She is ring bearer after all." |

Trixi nodded to Rock and went to stand behind Jinxi, bouncing on her toes in gleeful anticipation.
(Terry, I hope you get that I am bringing your characters upstairs for that wedding...forgive me if you feel wronged by it)
Dee had the band play as soon as everyone was gathered, it was time for Rock to settle down. Rock entered with Jinxi and saw the entire crowd. He was just glad there was enough room. There were a lot of guests. Ninjas, Androids, saiyans, dragons, humans, dwarves, orcs, gnomes, elves of all varieties and they were all watching him and his bride. It was also a good thing that Rock had been in those tournaments in the past otherwise, this crowd would be a bit overwhelming. There must have been at least 1000 guests or more, and that was not including William's 20, 000 children and other family members.
As soon as he and Jinxi were at the alter, Dee who had the power to conduct this wedding (queens have their privileges in that sense), said, "We are gathered here today to bring together Rock Howard Bogard and Jinxi of the Portal Central in Holy Matrimony. Before we begin, is there anyone here who thinks this is a bad idea?"
(Now, Maui, this will be key to knowing whether or not 88 is hero or villain) |

Lena looks up to meet Maui's eyes with her own. "What are you to me? I don't really know honestly. I can't say I like you."
"Then why do you hate me?"
"I don't hate you!" the android exclaims, clearly flustered. "I don't know what I think of you. I know you've always been the smart one; the strong one; the wise one. I don't hate you, but I don't like you either. I don't know what to think of you aside from... a friend..."
Baffled, Maui pauses for a moment. "Heh... I always knew you had a thing for me"
Lena smirks "You really are a joker aren't you?"
"It got you to smile didn't it?" Maui looks toward the altar and sees the young couple nearly at their destination. "We could escape together you know. Just the two of us. After this wedding, I can bust you out of your restraints and we can start a new life in this world. As Dee had said, this place is not Earth. We can start all over again and leave all the pain behind us."
"No Maui. We can't."
"And why not? This world is no longer filled with the taint of human behavior. We could finally be happy together."
"Look around you Maui. Do you truly believe I can bring you happiness? Everywhere I go, I cause nothing but destruction and pain. Before I arrived, were the people here so aggressive and hostile? If they are as you describe them, I doubt they truly were."
A grim expression lines Maui's face. "What are you trying to say?"
Lena sighs. "You talk so much about starting a new life and leaving the pain behind. Well sometimes you need to let go of even the things that bring you the most joy. Even if I do bring you such happiness, I think it's painfully obvious you cannot do the same for me. I am in so much pain Maui and there is nothing here that can save me. Please, just let me die so I can finally be at peace."
Tears swell up in Maui's eyes "Is this truly what you want Lena?'
"It is... I would rather die a villain that no one mourns for than live a life whose only purpose is to cause suffering for those around me."
Maui's heart breaks at the thought of never seeing the android again. After all they'd been through in recent times and all the heartfelt moments they had shared, she was still in so much pain she would rather be dead than live another minute. *How can I possibly let her go through with this? Can she really not be saved? We have all done everything in our power to try to convince her to stay, yet she still insists on fighting. What should I do?* After pondering for what seemed like an eternity, Maui gave a somber nod of approval and turned his face away from the Android to hide his tears.
88 smiled with tears of happiness flowing from her eyes "Thank you... friend."
The couple had arrived at the altar. As Dee makes her statement "Before we begin, is there anyone here who thinks this is a bad idea?" "I DO!" Lena screams. She unleashes her full potential and breaks away from the Saiyan's grasp. "Did you fools really trust me so much to let me into your empire? A creation of the mad Dr. Gero, a friend? An ally? Even within this galaxy, you are all so blind. You should have known better than to trust me. I am programmed with intent to kill and I will stop at nothing less than the death of the Empress of the Renaissance Galaxy and Jinxi of Portal Central!"
88 charges a ki blast in her right palm. "Now infidels... DIE!" 88 lets loose the blast toward the altar. Maui still has his head lowered in tears as he listens to the prelude to the impending battle. Words escape him, and all he can do is cry. |

Dee sighed and easily deflected the blast. "Please, 88, I am the last tuffle in the entire universe, and I am giving you a chance to repent because as I see here, Maui truly cares for you and I know deep in my heart that he doesn't want you to do this. And in terms of your power, that was nothing compared to what I have. Maui, if you were serious about starting a new life with her, then please, take her and go. If not, then please enjoy the rest of this wedding."
Rock sighed knowing that the one who thought it was a bad idea was not because of his relationship with Jinxi. He said to Jinxi, "This happens in our world. Be thankful it wasn't someone trying to poison me with food like with what happened when Dad was marrying mom. A ki blast like what is happening here is seriously nothing. Mom would not be hurt by something like that."
(Dee has a lot of power. The only way that 88 could kill Dee is if she teamed up with Maui. 88 would blow herself up while wrapped around Dee, then Maui, out of anger would grab Trixi with the tail gun equipped and Trixi would be the one to actually finish Dee off. Though, no one would blame Trixi. Trixi would merely be a tool in this case.) |

"Sure there must be another way your majesty? This girl seeks her own demise so vigorously because she is afraid of hurting the people around her. Perhaps if there was no one around to hurt, she might finally find peace and figure herself out?"
Maui places the pin-like object in Lena's pocket and calls upon Dee once more, "Surely one as powerful as your majesty has dominion over some realm where this android may find peace. I propose we leave her be alone in that place with this pin in her hand. She may make her own decision as to whether she will live or die there. We could send her away alone and unguided and wait for the signal. If we receive none, then we know what fate has befallen her. Should you see her executed instead for her treachery, at least allow me the responsibility of carrying it out. I would think it best if it was I who would be the last thing she sees before her release from this life." |
