The man swallowed hard and said nothing, afraid he would offend the two after Damien promised to spare him.

Damien ordered the soldiers to take this soldier back to his cell and to mark him so that he'd remember who to spare when it came time to execute those who tried to overthrow Damien's rule. He then ordered William to be brought in.

William was dragged in and strapped to the chair, not even bothering to fight back. Jian raised a brow when he looked at him, but said nothing, waiting for Damien to begin.

"So I've been told that you're the one leading this little charade" Damien said, placing a white gloved hand on his cheek while supporting his arm with his other hand again. "Care to explain?"

Damien wondered if the other man gave the wrong information, or tried to put the blame on someone else. Still, Damien had to make sure. "I see. Well someone else said that you were the one who was heading up this whole operation. Now, I want to give you the benefit of the doubt, but at this moment it doesn't look very good for you. How about you tell us all you know, then we can decide what we're going to do" he said.

Damien raised an eyebrow. "So who is your boss?" he asked. This was getting stupid. "And where is Ms. Ravenstone? Surely you could tell us that."

"Ms. Ravenstone? B-but I just saw her yesterday. She kicked me out of my office and did a sweep of this place, saying there was a bomb threat."

Damien thought things would start piecing together much easier, but the more people spoke, the more complicated things seemed to become. "A bomb threat?" he asked with an expression of disbelief.
