And can someone help me with Bleach? There's the Zanpaktuo, the Shikai, and the Bankai.
What is the difference between the Zanpakuto and the Shikai?

'Ruhi; The zanpakuto is the entire thing, whether or not its abilities are activated.
The shikai is the primary release, or in other words, the first signs of the zanpakuto's abilities. I have to say forget about Ichigo, because he doesn't really follow the pattern.
Look at Renji. You have the basic katana, which then goes into the shikai, which is the whip-blade.
The bankai takes the shikai a step further, usually on a massive scale.
Essentially, there is no difference. Zanpakuto is the whole thing.

It's not terribly complex. I just condensed everything fairly tight together. n.n;
What kind of powers do you want your blade to have?

Well it's going to be for physical fighting but it will also have a water element to go with it. It's name is going to be Bloody Rain (ties in a bit with my character's past).
It's katana form will be a little plain although it will have a blue handle and a sort of wave design in the hilt. (found the pic on the internet)
In it's shikai form, it's going to look more like a french sword with the elaborate handle and such, probably going to be a one handed blade. The handle can be used as a knuckle duster and the blade will be curved to help give it more cutting power.
As for it's bankai form, I really have no idea what it will look like then.

Good cosmetic design, though normally you should focus on powers before the actual appearance of it in Bleach.
